This was a beautiful, and clean place to stay and get away from the daily routines. We loved this place and probably will go back again sometime. The hostess was really great!

Overall it was exactly as expected. It could use a little TLC but as stated before it is exactly as listed. One day we were caught in a storm.pushing through and it would have been nice to have some upgrades on the entertainment center (TV) the view is THE BEST.

This place is truly magical. Sleeping with the sounds of the river right under your window is something we’ll never forget. Endless entertainment watching the rafters and fisherman enjoying Nantahala. We left planning our next trip! One to remember!

The property in and out was very clean and well kept. The host was very responsive. The cabin was the perfect size for a family of 4. Pet-friendly for our cat is what we were thrilled about.

The best thing about this cabin was the wonderful porch/deck just a few feet from the river and with a view of the mountains. We spent hours sitting on the porch, reading and talking, and waving to the kayakers and rafters who streamed by. In the mornings we watched the fog lift off the mountain and the fog roll down the stream. The full moon over the mountain was wonderful.(I am too persnickety: the porch ceiling and fan were dirty.)We were four old people and found the lightening in the house insufficient for comfortable reading or playing cards. That said, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the cabin, especially the porch!

Location, location, location! We came to do rafting/ kayak/ fishing. The cabin is right on the river. So peaceful. The cabin is rustic and basic, had the essentials. Few miles from NOC. Has firepit, we cooked hot dogs. Bring your own camping chairs. Very safe, gated area.

This rental was amazing! Clean and the view was phenomenal! All of our time was spent on the back porch relaxing or trout fishing on the river! The owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Our dogs had a blast also. I will definitely book this cabin again!

This is the third time staying here and the cabin is very clean, beds so comfortable it was hard to get out of them to go fishing! Trudy is very responsive with any questions we had. Our favorite place to stay! Thank you Trudy!

Cozy cabin. Incredible property right on the river. Cool mornings drinking coffee and listening to the river and birds. Fly fishing right out the back door. Loved sitting by the campfire in the evening watching the fireflies all around. Appreciated the puzzles and being able to have our dog with us. So much to do in the area. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven on earth.

We loved staying right on the river watching the rafters float by. The cabin was great and the property is beautiful. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the fishing was good, can't to come back !

If you want prime riverfront property full of trout look no further. Read the listing, this is not club med. If you’re looking to be outdoors this place is perfect. If you stay up late enough a cute little couple of river otters who have no sense for personal space will make a showing.

You cant beat this location it is so beautiful and peaceful! We had an absolute blast . From star gazing at the fire pit to zip lining and white water rafting and fishing on the river bank. The property was amazing

This was our second stay at this property and we fell a little more in love with it! The view is the absolute best! From mountaintop fireworks to a beaver swimming around before dark; we love it here.
