A romantic retreat in the heart of the Texas Hill Country awaits at this cozy countryside cabin. Situated just two miles from the historic Wimberley Town Square, you'll enjoy shopping and dining during the day, while epic, rolling vistas greet you back at home. This beautiful cabin has a large front porch to soak up the amazing views, and you'll enjoy access to a private hot tub for even more outdoor leisure.

Handy kitchenette appliances including a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a sink provide an added layer of convenience throughout your stay. Modern home essentials include free WiFi and a mounted mini-split air-conditioner.

Close to swimming holes, charming small towns, and vineyards, you'll also enjoy a convenient location just a short drive from Austin and Canyon Lake. Blue Hole Regional Park and Downtown Wimberley are just two miles away. Other local attractions like the Cypress Falls Swimming Hole and Double J Ranch Golf Club are just five miles up the road.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Evening Shade

We checked out of the Evening Shade cabin at 6:00 AM. We stripped the bed and washed the dishes we used. Perhaps a small drain board would be nice to have there for dishes. For the record, there was no hair dryer in the building. I did not pack one because the listing said the cabin had one. There wasn’t. I looked in every cabinet and drawer. I texted (503)213-6950 and was told to double check. The batteries need to be replaced in the TV remote control. The skimmer in the hot tub needs to be cleaned - it was covered with sticky nastiness, and there was a lot of sticky yellowish scum in the water. Several of the solar path lights were broken and need to be replaced. Otherwise we enjoyed the cabin. The location was lovely, quiet and peaceful at the end of the road. The view was beautiful. The cabin was very clean and the bed and bedding were very comfortable.

Such a great place for a get away with your loved on. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and the view was spectacular. Over all we definitely plan on coming back one day.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved this long weekend getaway. Everything was just as described and/or pictured. Very quiet, beautiful view, and the bed was perfect. Highly recommended.
