This was a beautiful seaside escape with restaurants and shops within walking distance. My few questions were answered quickly by the host. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is very much as pictured. Beautiful views of the ocean and overlooking looking the beach and the daily surfers. A wonderful way to start or end your day with morning coffee of or evening cocktail enjoying the sunset. Or even just enjoying the sounds of the ocean all day and night long. Set between some very popular surfing beaches or just relaxing beaches. Great for family and friends gathering place. Fun to also watch the flights of pelicans and osprey fly closely by. Highly recommend!

Family getaway

Very nice stay. Good location near town and beach. View from balconies overlooking beach cannot be beat. Loved looking out to surfers and dolphins swimming.

Incredible vacation spot

Stayed for a few nights during our son's travel hockey tournament, and this place was everything we could have asked for and more. Clean and spacious, with absolutely gorgeous views of the ocean. We're already hoping his team goes back to San Diego next season so we can stay here again!

The townhome really needs updating. The table on the patio was severely chipped and looked awful. The bathrooms have tile and they look quite dated. The whole place needs to be painted and some of the shoe molding replaced. this is such a valuable and that’s not property. I think the owner should spend just a little bit of money fixing it up for it to justify the price charge for rental. Beautiful view, right on the ocean. very nice appliances in the kitchen.

Lovely home

The home is lovely, just as described. We have stayed in several homes in the area and will definitely return to this one. Host was great and very responsive. Great area, easy beach access, and walking distance to coffee, shops, and restaurants.

Excellent stay with family celebrating a law school graduate. Very comfortable beds, amenities, and views of the ocean. Super easy check in, communication was quickly responded to.

Awesome Place!!

I 100% loved this place! The ocean view was incredible and the house is stocked and clean and spacious and just perfect. Communication was smooth and simple and very welcoming. I will 100% be back! It was a perfect long weekend :)

Incredible location

We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We weren’t far from any of the attractions we were visiting and restaurants were close by too. We loved the quiet street it is located on too. It is a one way street active with walkers and joggers. Then there is the ocean view! We enjoyed an incredible sunset each night while listening to the soothing sound of the crashing waves. Check in was flawless and the property managers were very helpful and just the right amount of attentive.

Didn’t know there were 30 steps from ground to 2nd floor. In heavy rain water drips into living room from deck. Window treatments in lr and bedroom hard to maneuver.No napkins, small sharp knives, colander and not enough hangars (bought them)No manuals or explanations on how to use appliances. No info on where there are extra linens and towels,Expected more given the price.

As is, you're paying for a 3 1/2 star place in an incredible location.Fixable issues that keep it from being amazing (below).POSITIVES:Excellent location!Epic view; Super close to shops/eats on 101; Beaches- 5 min walk to Beacon's, 10 to StoneSteps, 20 to Moonlight/downtown Encinitas (Would be helpful to have these details in listing)Comfortable furnishings, linens & kitchenGood beach gear - Towels, surf & boogie boards, chairsMgmt Co was very responsiveFYI - there appears to be an EV-capable plug in the garage (it's not listed, so I didn't bring my cable)ISSUES:Master bedroom needs work. Screen door has unsightly holes & barely budges when trying to open;Shutters are very difficult to close, and one is broken off;Lamps are faulty;Cosmetic issues like these are unexpected for a property in this price pointListing does not mention shared wall with neighbor - do not anticipate privacy on the patioWe had ants in master bath and near wet bar - Mgmt is aware & hopefully addressingCoffee maker leaked water on kitchen counter - to their credit, Mgmt quickly replaced via amazonShort on kitchen basics - utensils/cookware need updating, more hand towelsCould not access DirecTV - no instructionsFrustrating Check in - additional online registration required after reserving & paying, which I completed but evidently it didn't get to them, so we were delayed a half hour dealing with it

The view!!! No words to describe how amazing the view is. Location is so convenient to several beaches and a short one block walk over to the main drag. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the train. The noise pollution from the constant trains passing thru was really tough. Especially when windows are open. But this is a problem anywhere you stay beach front in the city so it is not unique to this property. House was incredibly well stocked with all the beach things from multiple surf boards, boogie boards, sand toys etc. the sliding patio door was also tough to use. It kept sticking and finally we would just go around the side of the house to get to the deck. All in all it was a great rental for us.
