Cross the small stream in front of the hut via a wooden bridge and your vacation can begin. The hut offers space for 7-9 people (1 travel crib for babies is also available) divided into 2 bedrooms: 1 double room and 1 five-bed room. The living room is particularly cozy with a stone bar, a wood-burning stove and a comfortable sofa bed that can be pulled out.

In addition, electric heating provides effortless warmth throughout the cabin.

The fully equipped kitchen offers space for a seating area. The bathroom has a shower, 2 washbasins and a toilet. We also have enough wood in front of the hut to keep you warm in winter - after all, Lungau is one of the harsher and colder regions in Austria.

The property is completely fenced in. The outdoor area has 1 terrace with rustic seating furniture and parasols, a children's swing, a fire pit and a massive garden barbecue. There is also a sauna in the garden.

Our Murtalhütte is nestled between mountains up to 3000 meters high, away from the community of Muhr in Lungau in Salzburger Land. Our holidaymakers really appreciate not being able to spend their vacation in a "HÜTTENDORF". We are located on the edge of the largest nature reserve in the Alps - the HOHE TAUERN National Park in the Lungau-Nockberge Biosphere Park. Surrounded by the Niedere and Radstädter Tauern, the Murtalhütte is situated at 1,120m above sea level (easily accessible by car in winter) in a unique and unmistakable mountain landscape. You can expect fantastic alpine pastures, mountains with glaciers, crystal-clear mountain water, 60 deep blue mountain lakes, breathtaking waterfalls, combined with a flora and fauna that you won't find anywhere else in this variety.

The prices are per unit per night for 7 people excluding the overnight stay tax per person. If there are 8 to 9 people, an additional surcharge applies.

The following fees and taxes will be charged additionally:

- Electricity is charged according to consumption (0.50 cents per kilowatt hour) on the day of departure.
- We also ask our guests to pay a deposit of € 200 on the day of arrival.
