The location of this house is unbelievable. We had an incredible time at this property. Getting there isn’t easy and buying groceries or anything needed requires lots of extra planning and money but the setting and easy access to the most beautiful parts of this beach are absolutely worth every penny and all the effort.

The location of this house cannot be beat!! I would absolutely stay here again. The only challenge was the 3rd bedroom/2nd bathroom was not attached to the main living space and the rest of our group, but it didn't ruin our experience. We loved watching dolphins from the deck every day. No one ever set up in front of our house so we felt like we had our own private beach. The kids loved the outdoor shower.

Best location on the island in my opinion, great sunset views and right on the beach.Had some minor issues with the golf cart batteries, but really not a big deal since there isn't really anything to drive to. Enjoy the location and stay put.One thing that isn't clear from the pics and listing is that the master suite is on the first level, disconnected from the main upper level that has the kitchen, hot tub (it's on the upper deck now), etc. So you have to go outside and up some exterior steps between that room and the main house. Not a big deal, unless it's raining or something.Overall, highly recommended and I would return.

Overall was a great experience, staff and owner were very nice and helpful, wondering views and a lovely house to stay at.

Overall the property presents a stunning setting and access to the beach. We had some issues that we promptly answered or taken care of by the property management company. The only compliant is the bed mattresses were extra firm and a little hard to sleep on depending on what you are used to. Definitely would rent this property again. Duncan with the property management company was great as well.

Wonderul getaway

The house is wonderfully located on the beach just steps from amazing shelling and fishing. We had a beautiful week, and can't wait to come back!

Perfect Beach Location

Location was fantastic! Beautiful sunsets every night! The house was well stocked with beach toys and kitchen utensils. Everything we could need for a great week with 4 kids of all ages!

This was the 2nd time at the house and it was great. The house was fantastic. The scenery was unbelievable and overall with a wonderful time. Look forward to going back again in the future.

Heaven!

We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our stay on North Captiva! This location is just the best, shells and sunset can’t be beat here. We loved everything about it and can’t wait to go back! Seriously heavenly!

Serenity in Paradise

Beautiful house, closest to water on isolated beach. Best shelling in Florida. Wake up to picture perfect view and peaceful mornings. Family friendly.

Best Vacation Ever!

This was by far our favorite family vacation! The home is in the best location on the island and the view of the sunset from the deck is amazing! The property managers were very personable and professional and made our stay on the island worry free. We can’t wait to return to paradise and will definitely book Beach’s Edge!

We had another wonderful stay at Beaches Edge. There were several updates done on the home since our last stay that made a world of difference! We look forward to coming back next year.

Amazing view and very private beach

Very comfortable beach house. Felt fine putting our feet up, collecting shells and our favorite activity was watching the sunset. This is a million dollar view!! Lovely owners and management team!! Already booked again for next year!!

Stunning!

Stunning sunset views from the deck! It just might be the perfect beach house, the water is closer than it appears in the pictures. The house has been beautifully updated since the pics in the listing. North Captiva is the perfect plus to unplug and relax. Added bonus that the beds and linens were very comfortable.

Wonderful beach house!

We had a great week in North Captiva and loved Beach’s Edge! The house location was perfect and although the property itself is dated, it has just what you need and more! We especially enjoyed the updated kitchen. Most of all, Duncan and Laurie (property management) will make sure your stay is absolutely perfect and are such sweet people to work with! We cannot wait to return. -The Trudo family

Yes, Duncan and Laurie are great and we have enjoyed working with them. They do a great job! We'd love to have you stay again!

Spectacular location

This house was better than I could have imagined. This was our first visit to North Captiva and I could not have picked a better location to stay. The views are priceless. We loved everything about the island and the house and will be back for certain. The property owner and management co was easy to work with and provided us with everything we needed and then some. Thank you so much for making this a wonderful week of memories and fabulous shelling!

The BEST place to be

We look forward to our yearly vacation at North Captiva and staying at Beaches Edge. It feels like home the minute we pull up to the house. It has everything we need and we loved the new living room furniture. The views are the best on the beach and we really enjoyed watching the sunsets while sitting on the new swing. Alicia is awesome to work with and always takes care of us. We can’t wait to go back next year.

Beaches edge is amazing!!

We loved staying here!!!! The house was perfect!!! The oven and beach area was amazing!!! Such perfect sunsets. We couldn’t have asked for a better week! The only thing is the downstairs is completely separate from the upstairs! BUT it worked in our favor!!! My parents stayed down there and had privacy from my husband and I with our kids!! It was so so good!!

Best view, location on the Island

This was our second stay on the Island and first time at Beaches Edge. We loved it so much we have booked it for next year. The house itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The views and the beach were the best. A very peaceful and relaxing getaway. The owners were very responsive with information. We can't wait for our next trip in July to Beaches Edge. The only negative comment about Beaches Edge is we had to leave.
