Perfect for what we wanted
Well equipped apartment perfect for a family of four. No shortage of pots/pans/crockery and cutlery. Also useful collection of oven proof cookware for quiche and lasagna if you wish to cook.
Like the fact that the mezzanine rooms actually had glass around them, so they weren’t open to the kitchen (food smells) and when children went to bed they were not disturbed by parents chatting.
Access to the second mezzanine room was via a very steep ladder - I would personally recommend this room for teens and above.
Parking at the property itself is somewhat limited, but there is plenty of free road parking to be had.
Communication with the property owner, Alexia, was very easy and she was always quick to respond to any queries.
Access to the main ski area is via Belle Étoile, a 5 minute maximum walk in ski boots and carrying your skis; which opens at 0845 and is fairly quick up the mountain. However, like us you are booking ski school, make sure you check the meeting points as some schools meet at Belle Étoile, and others at the bottom of the Jandri Express.
Ski Hire - SkiSet Vallée Blanche is directly below the apartment building and the team there are really helpful.
If we were to return to Les Deux Alpes, I would definitely book this apartment again.
