What a beautiful property!! Loved the large dining room table and large deck dining that so many could sit around. A large pantry held our supplies and the kitchen was amazing. The piano was a bonus for us to listen to our grandson's play their recital pieces. At 11, 13 and 15 they loved to compete for who could find eggs first. The bunnies got lots of petting as well. Nestled back in trees we could take a walk outside and enjoy watching deer. We even had some try out the zip line and rope line. The family enjoyed our time here. Most of the places we went to were about 30 minutes away.

Family Vacation

This property is amazing! It was perfect for a family vacation. The house and property was a great experience for our grandkids. The kids could play outside without worry. In fact, our grandkids did not want to leave! Thank you Megan and Jared for quick communication and how you made us feel at home in your property.

Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful stay. The property accommodated our one traveler who needed accommodations. First floor bedroom was perfect for her. Enjoyed the spaciousness and the views from windows. Had two piano players with us so the piano was a bonus as well as the guitar. House nicely decorated.

A great week in Colorado Springs

The property was perfect for our extended family. Great front porch and back deck plenty of beds, baths, and open areas. The home was immaculate, beautiful and practical.Lots of outdoor activities for the children – zip line – outdoor space for with fire pit – swings. All in a beautiful setting pine and aspen trees.Megan was especially helpful and communicated well. So very thoughtful in so many ways.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had 13, kids ages 6 months to 14. The property was perfect for us. Beautiful home. Tons to do at the property, The kids loved the trampoline, zipline, swingset, etc. We had a family baseball game in the back yard. All in all, couldn't have been better.

Perfect for family with young kids

This was perfect. The arrival was greeted with fresh flowers among many other perfect touches. There is many things to do whether adults or kids. The host is just amazing. She helped with every detail of our arrival. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Amazing Property!

We had a wonderful stay. The kids had a blast. There was so much to do around the property we didn't feel the need to ever leave! The kids really enjoyed feeding/watering the chickens and bunnies. The playroom was amazing, the art room was amazing. Just all around perfect! Wish we could have booked a longer stay! The owners were super nice and had provided more than we needed. Thanks again for the wonderful memories.

Great Kid-Friendly Vacation Home!

We stayed at this home with our children and grandchildren, a total of 17 of us. We did see sights in the area, but we all loved just spending time at the house. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and keep busy with all the inside activities, in addition to the fun things to do outside! Feeding the chickens and collecting eggs (and eating them!) was a highlight for us also! What a beautiful setting--our thanks for making this home a special place for our family to gather!

A Lovely Retreat with our family

We enjoyed your lovely home very much. The room arrangements worked well for all of us. We loved the beautiful back porch with a dinner table. We ate many meals out there. The front porch was also a great escape as we watched the kids play tin the great yard. Zipline was a big success with the kids as were the chickens!! Thank you for allowing us to rent your home for a week!! = )

Great property. Everything you need for a large family gathering. Basically just bring food and clothes. Everything else is there. We had 5 couples with children. Plenty of room with great outdoor amenities to entertain adults and children alike. The chicken coop, sand box, outdoor fire pit, zip line and swing sets will keep all ages entertained. Additionally several quiet areas for those needing to do some work while away from home. This property is a gem.

Beautiful and private!

We had an absolute blast staying in this home! It’s a beautful home where everyone felt comfortable. There is so much to do at the home, that we hardly had to plan anything else! Older kids, young children, and adults all loved it! Megan and Jared were great hosts, and made sure that we were well taken care of. There is absolutely no complaints from us! Thank you!

Family vacation

We had the best time! Everyone of all ages had fun and had something to do! We made so many memories in this home. We were able to cook all of our meals. We were able to lounge and play games play outside. There was so much to do at the house, we were also close to pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods and Focus on the Family. There were so many things to do. It was a wonderful week.

This home is in a gorgeous setting with wild lavender, beautiful hillside, and pine trees everywhere. The peacefulness is inside the home too with beautiful furnishings and wonderful games and activities for the kids. We took our kids and grandkids there for a week stay and they did not want to leave. I can’t say enough about this home! Honestly, we will be talking about this place for a very long time!

Perfect family reunion

17 family members between the ages of 2 & 80 gathered for a family reunion and memorial. Megan’s house provided the perfect place for a restorative weekend for all. The kids had so much fun on the trampoline, zip line, and in the upstairs playroom. The adults loved relaxing on the patio. The house had plenty of dishes and utensils for a large gathering and the owners could not have been more generous. This house is really special and we feel so fortunate to have found it!

Lovely friend group stay

The property was perfect for our group of 16 with a mix of 7 kids and 9 adults. It was surprising how easily the house had space for our group. The owners had great communication. The house has beautiful, classy spaces but maintains a welcoming, comfortable feel. The kids loved the zipline, the trampoline, and feeding the chickens. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, the basketball hoop, and also feeding the chickens. The property's location allowed us just a short drive to Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Wind, Pike's Peak Cog Railway, and downtown Colorado Springs, but is out of the hustle and bustle. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here on your next vacation!

Best wedding weekend

What a house! Better than the photos and everything you could ever want! My husband and I were hosting a wedding for our daughter in Black Forest and this house was for our children and spouses to spend time together between wedding activities. The home is beautiful, with every amenity you need. The property gorgeous. The hosts were so personal, kind and clearly parents of a beautiful family. Thanks for a wonderful weekend, creating beautiful family memories.

Memorial Day Memories

It was wonderful to have so many activities for the kids. Even after a day of sight seeing, there was no downtime for them. The home is lovely and the kitchen was perfect. We appreciated the pantry space provided. We ate many meals on the deck with its beautiful views. Enjoyed the sweet touch of fresh flowers. Our evenings were gathered around the fire pit and enjoying s'mores. Thank you Anderson family for sharing your home. We laughed, played and made memories.
