I want to thank the host for making my first ever VRBO transaction a very smooth one! The house was very well described and listed on the website. We had family traveling from New Jersey and California for a family reunion. We had a blast. We will be back!

Perfect location

The house was clean, had everything we needed, Suzan was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The location was amazing to get to the beach, coffee in the mornings, etc! We loved our time in Duck

Perfect Family/Friend Getaway

Where do I even begin! Suzan was a wonderful host and her home was PERFECT for our getaway. The house is nestled right in Duck walking distance from the boardwalk and many shops. It has greenery around it so we were secluded from other homes. A deer stopped by a few times! The inside of the house was beautiful! We were able to fit five families comfortably and share meals together. The front and back porches were peaceful getaways when you needed some alone time. I don't think we even turned on the TVs even though there were so many. The pool and hot tub were great! The kids loved access to it. The deck has enough lounge furniture for everyone.

This house was absolutely beautiful. The furnishings were very upscale and everything was impeccably clean. It was so convenient having an en-suite with every bedroom. The bedrooms were all huge and their bathrooms were also very large. Walking distance to local restaurants/bars and pier with kayak, jet ski, boat etc rentals. This is a great option if you are looking for a more upscale stay at Duck. Host was very helpful and communicated very well. Pool was wonderful clean and the perfect temperature. Hot was top notch as well. A MAJOR PLUS: This house comes with all basic amenities that most other rentals on the outer banks lack have such as: hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc.

We had a nice stay at the Aquaterra and Suzan was very easy to work with throughout the process. The house was even more lovely in person.

Perfect Getaway!

One short block from the center of Duck but totally private. This is way nicer than any rental we’ve ever had. Clean, well equipped, nicely furnished, thoughtfully laid out. The pool and hot tub were great. State of the art connectivity was welcome, as were multiple smart tv’s.

Beautiful home

It was such a pleasure renting from Suzan! We were able to check in early after a long drive. The home was absolutely beautiful and spotless, with so much space to spread out for our large family. The pool and hot tub area were perfect for all the ages in our family, and location is an easy walk to shops and restaurants on the Duck boardwalk. We will be back!

Relaxing visit

Wonderful house, a very short walk to shops and food. Suzan was super easy to work with. Bike rental made the beach an easy trip (you’ll want to rent some) but mostly we hung out at the pool. We only had 6 but the house could’ve easily slept 10-12.

Excellent visit! Would have like to stay longer next time.

Property was exactly as advertised and the printed guide had lots of helpful info. I wish that the weather had been as nice as the property, but the vicissitudes of weather are beyond anyone control. Otherwise a nice time was had by all of our party!

Amazing location, amazing property

This is an amazing property. Location is fantastic...you can easily walk to shops, market, boardwalk in Duck which is a very charming town. The house feels very private and is even better than the pictures. It was very well stocked, extremely clean and had great high end finishes throughout. Suzan was great to work with.

Family vacation

This was a beautiful home with everything we needed for 12. Lots of space for everyone. The house is situated close to stores, restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the beach or a 5 minute drop off by car. Everyone had a great stay at Aquaterra!

Awesome Home, Awesome Vacation!

Aquaterra was such a treat to stay in. Each level seemed to be perfectly laid out. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make a family meal. Bedrooms having their own private bath were on point. The pool was a hit for the kids and adults, both relaxing and fun. The hot tub was there for that nice relaxing soak as well. The back decks were great to sit outside and star gaze, while the front decks were perfect for our morning breakfast. The location of the home is perfect for walking to shops, restaurants, checking out the beach, and getting out to the nearby towns. Walking to Duck Donuts where the kids watched all the topping being put on them was a hit. We especially loved our trip to Kitty Hawk to see the Wright Brothers museum and a trip further down the road to Nags Head to see and climb Bodie Island Lighthouse along with a stop at Coquina Beach. Thank you Suzan for helping to make our vacation not just a good one, but a great one! You made the entire process seamless!

Best family vacation

This house was above and beyond our expectations. Suzan was great to work with and made sure our visit went off without a hitch! She even had a pack-n-play and high chair for our grandkids. We are a family of 11, 8 adults and 3 kids and the house provided privacy and great outdoor spaces. Our favorite things were the pool, hot tub and bocce ball court. The location is perfect and we frequently walked to dinner and the water. Hope we get a chance to come back someday.

The most amazing property!

From the very start, great communication and service! The home and property is amazing! Everything one would need in a home is available. Absolutely well maintained and it’s location is on point to shops, beach and restaurants. We loved our stay! Returning for sure and highly recommend!

Amazing Home

This home was truly amazing. It had everything we could ask for and anything else you didn’t know you would need. The owners were very nice to work with. When we arrived the house was immaculate. The location was perfect in the town of Duck. We hope to be able to come back someday. Perfect vacation home.

Aquaterra = Amazing, there’s so much to say about this beautiful property.

Every year I pick a location for my family vacation and this year we decided on the Outer Banks. I’m so glad that I found Aquaterra during my search because it was beyond our expectations. The property is situated in an excellent location that is close to stores, restaurants, the Duck boardwalk, and more. Our first impression of the house was “wow”, it is very spacious and immaculate. The main rooms are open, the doorways are wide, and the wood floors throughout the house are very nice. Some of the highlights that we enjoyed were the large kitchen, the balconies and porches, the gas grill, and the pool/hot tub area. All of the rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. This house is kid friendly and the kids enjoyed sleeping in the room with bunk beds. The house manual helped us find local attractions and activities in the area. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze and the WiFi was good. I could go on and on about how great our first stay in the Outer Banks was because of this property but I would run out of characters. We will definitely rent this house again in the future and if you’re considering renting it “go for it” you will be beyond pleased, it’s beautiful. Thanks again to Tim & Suzan for sharing this amazing property and making our stay hassle free.

Stunning home with great walkability

Nothing in this house disappointed! Everything was modern, spacious, and beautifully appointed. There was nothing we needed for cooking or comfort that wasn't available in the home. The pool was amazing, and kept our kids entertained all week. I cannot express enough what an amazing location it is for dining and shopping. We had a short walk to the Boardwalk on the Soundside for sunsets each evening. We had easy access to Blue Point and other favorite dining and happy hour spots. It was so relaxing to not have to get into our cars. All of Duck was an easy walk or bike ride to enjoy. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great property, beautiful home with amenities!

We stayed at aquaterra in early April. We were very impressed with this home which was perfect for us with a wide range of children’s ages. Access to WiFi, board games, good ball were all big pluses. Each bedroom was spacious and well-furnished. Multiple full baths make this a great home Forbes multiple families. The home was clean and the kitchen was especially impressive. We also enjoyed the pool with heater! Location was convenient to sound, restaurants and shops. It was also a short walk to the beach! We will stay here again.
