Questo classico cottage sulla spiaggia in stile hawaiano si trova nel cuore della pittoresca baia di Hanalei, Kauai, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia ea soli due isolati dal villaggio di Hanalei. Questa affascinante casa polare offre un portico anteriore e una pianta aperta che presenta un soffitto con travi a vista e finestre a feritoie per far circolare le brezze del tradewind. Splendidi panorami di montagna con cascate sono incorniciati nella finestra da pranzo / cucina sul retro. L'ampio cortile ospita banani e papaia, plumeria e altre piante tropicali.


La spiaggia a mezzaluna di due miglia di Hanalei è a pochi passi per prendere il sole, pettinare la spiaggia e nuotare stagionale. Con snorkeling, escursioni e kayak nelle vicinanze e shopping e ristoranti nel villaggio di Hanalei, questa è la vacanza perfetta!

Great spot! One block to the beach, two blocks to the grocery store and restaurants. Everything you need is provided, including beach supplies, coolers, washer/dryer. The place does not have AC but we did not miss it. Just allow for cross breezes and enjoy wearing the minimum. The geckos on the walls are so cute.Criticism which doesn't detract: there should be a deep cleaning done to the place. But any specific issue we raised, they were extremely quick in addressing.

Great spot

We enjoyed our 2nd time staying here. The location is wonderful and the house was very clean. The neighborhood vibes are terrific and the beach being in walking distance is perfect. Easy access to downtown Hanalie.

Great week in Hanalei

Our family of 4 spent a great week at the Hideaway. The location is perfect and we appreciated the low-key, vintage beach house vibe. Would definitely recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing - - walking distance to everything. The view from the kitchen of the waterfalls is very cool. It has one simple bathroom with a plastic shower insert which works. No fancy shampoos or soaps in the bathroom and no spices in the kitchen, so you need to buy/take what you need. That said, the price is based on convenient access to the bay and town. It's a great spot.

Low key, comfortable, generally tranquil little house with ocean and mountain views. Walk to beach and town. Rooms themselves could use some refurbishing. Overall experience very nice.

Beautiful location

Within walking distance to everything. A perfect and beautiful view of the mountains out of the picture window in the kitchen. Amenities are well thought out to include everything you would need. Loved the history of the house learned through pictures and text. We would stay here again and again!

A Once Beloved Getaway Location Is No Longer a Peaceful Haven

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was not feeling well so was, perhaps, overly sensitive to noise. But Weke Rd. has become an increasingly noisy thoroughfare with loud trucks and motorcycles speeding past at all hours of the night and day. Also, the very loud and intrusive landscaping machinery is disturbing. Many communities have bans on leaf blowers and I'm not sure why Hanalei does not. Between those and the lawn mowers, it is no longer a peaceful haven. Given the increased cost of the dwelling, it's unlikely that we will stay at this location again. The cottage itself benefitted from some recent upgrades in bedding and a new couch but...we like staying in Hanalei because of the walkability but and physical beauty of the landscape but will seek a different accommodation next time.

Gorgeous Hanalei Getaway!

We loved our stay at this little Hanalei hideaway! We love the north side of the island for its green beauty, beaches and waterfalls. This cute house had views of all of it. From one bedroom, we could see moutains and waterfalls, from the other, we could see the beach and bay. The walks to the beach and the Hanalei stores and restaurants were quick and easy. The house was clean and comfortable, and Kauai Vacation rentals, who manages the property, was very easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again!

Just Right

This property is just right for small families who want to have a nice vacation without breaking the bank. Good location and Walking distance to everything. The only negative is there is no AC. It isn’t always needed but the house can get stuffy if there is no breeze.

A Wonderful Stay

Clean, cosy, and full of character, this is such a lovely and comfortable home. Watch the bay with a drink out front as the sun goes down, or marvel at the unobstructed view of the mountains and waterfalls from the big kitchen window over breakfast. Our two year old really enjoyed pottering about, seeking out green lizards in the garden and was a BIG fan of the beach toys. Speaking of the beach, it’s right there, 3-5 mins walk away and the village is not much further.What a tranquil spot and a peaceful place to stay. It was our first stay but won’t be our last. We hope to return as soon as possible.

Loved walking to the beach for sunset every night, sitting on the front lanai after a day’s activity, easy walk to town and the farmer’s market. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Beautiful views out the kitchen window. Towels were yummily soft. Would have preferred to not find dried food under the couch. Must remove the description of a dishwasher present.

Cute house with gorgeous views

We enjoyed our stay at Hanalei. The house was comfortable and location was very convenient. The welcome gift was a really nice surprise. The views of the mountains from the kitchen are incredible! In terms of privacy, the house has a large backyard, but it is at very close proximity to houses on the right and the left, so you do hear noise from neighbors throughout the day. Also, we noticed there were people passing through the property and under our window every day, which made us a bit uncomfortable. So overall, it didn’t feel very secluded. One thing we were not aware of is that there are no shampoo/conditioner provided, so we had to run and get some, which wasn’t a big deal, however we didn’t expect it. Overall we had a great stay, and we loved the chicken!
