After having a full day of activities it's nice to able to relax in a home that is cozy and quiet. We apologize that you have faced the issue with the fireplace. This is an amenity that we can not always guarantee working with the amount of traffic it receives from renters before yourself. Unfortunately if not notified to us during the stay, we can not address this and get a vendor to the property. It is our goal here at Destination Big Bear to make your stay as best as possible. We make a note of all issues that you faced during your stay and do the needful on an urgent basis. As we are the management company for the house this is something that we can and will address once notified to us. This is something that we prioritize, we have a full maintenance staff who will go to the property and fix the issue.Come back soon, Destination Big Bear

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful views this property has to offer, the distance between the slopes to the cabin, and the spacious feeling it provided for you and your guest. We do apologize for both the inconvenience of the power going out and the master bedroom fireplace not working. Unfortunately, we did not receive a call from you regarding this concern, we do want to provide heaters when situations like these occur. After reading your review it seems you would have enjoyed having a wood burning fireplace instead of an electric one. Next time you are looking for a cabin, message and ask us before booking.
