Clean & Safe Rental Properties: Keeping our vacation homes sparkling clean is a top priority for us here at Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals. All properties are cleaned, sanitized & disinfected before guests check-in with products proven to eliminate viruses & bacteria. All linens are laundered at an offsite facility and new linens and towels are brought in for every guest's stay. The entirety of our housekeeping processes meet and exceed all CDC cleaning guidelines. If you have any questions/concerns, please reach out to our office for more information.

For your convenience: Our housekeepers will leave a check in packet with area information for you at the property. Also included at the rental are paper products, trash bags, dish soap and hand soap. Guests are asked to bring their own toiletries for their stay.

High Marks for Black Moose
A little odd this year since our grandson broke his kneecap 2 days before leaving for ME. After surgery and as soon as he was good to travel, he came up too. The whole family! 3rd time renting this cabin and we'd love to return in the future. The side porch is great for late night games without disturbing the sleping areas. Nice deck (I wish the Sunsetter awning was powered) with updated rails; dog loved watching chipmunks, red squirrels and rabbits from it. Good Weber gas grille. Dock is great and the little beach area is perfect for our 5 year old grand daughter. It was, under bad circumstances, a wonderful vacation, due in large part to Black Moose and M&F. Thanks, CT.

An elegant lakeside home with attention to every detail
Black Moose is a well equipped, spacious yet very cozy cabin on Mooselookmeguntic Lake. I love the fact that it has different types of areas to relax. There is the dock. There is the firepit area. There is the porch with the retractable awning. There is the three season porch in case it is rainy. Of course, there is also there is the very warm and comfortable inside of the cabin if you want to be indoors. The loon calls were magical while having coffee on the dock in the morning. It also comes with well maintained canoes and kayaks which are very handy to the water as well as PFD's so you don't have to bring those with you. It is located on a very quiet dirt road with very little traffic as well which is important if you have dogs or kids that might curiously go out to the road. All in all I give the Black Moose the highest rating. Enjoyed every minute here.

Family reunion
3rd year with black moose. All the gear is there to play on top of the water. LOTS of meals at the lakeside picnic table, daily swims - youngest was 18 oldest was 63 and of course card games at the end of the day. Under water rock exploring and we even mountain biked on Saddlebacks new trails. Between Black moose house and the house next door - everyone got a bed. see you next year
