This rustic little beach cottage is the perfect surfer's bungalow - a place to rest your head after a long day of catching waves at the nearby Hayman Street beach access, a popular surf spot among locals. If you're looking for affordable, no-frills accommodations for a simple and laid-back vacation, this home is for you.

Quiet Time is tucked away on the sound side, surrounded by trees, foliage, and a natural landscape. The Hayman street playground is nearby and has shaded area benches, along with picnic tables and a grill for cookouts, and nearby are swings sturdy enough for all ages and a jungle gym and slides for the kids. Spend the day at the beach or check out all of the great adventures this little island offers. Make sure you walk to the sound in the evening and capture the most amazing sunsets.

4th of July getaway

Great location, kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs addressed. Enjoyed our weekend. Short walk to the sound to watch the sunset at the public gazebo.

Need more truth in listing

The property was quaint and served its purpose. The main selling pint for us was the porch with hammock but it was only accessible through the largest bedroom. The teens never used it sadly. For those that spend most of the time away from the property…this will suit you.

Do you like bugs? If so, by all means stay here!!

Do you like bugs? Do you like feeling like you have bugs crawling all over you? If you do, by all means this is the place to stay! This was by far the worst VRBO we have ever stayed at. The rental was wiped down, but definitely not clean. The floors are painted subfloors with peed stained rugs everywhere. One of the comforters had hair and stains all over it. We called Village Realty and Amy was very apologetic and had some come right away to get the comforter and sprayed the pee stains. The exterminators came as well as a very nice lady who cleaned most of the cups/dishes and wiped the kitchen down with bleach. Oh boy, the bugs hated the bleach and the bugs were coming out everywhere!! DISGUSTING! It’s not fair that the management companies have to appease renters because the owners will not take responsibility on the maintenance of their house! The owners need to get rid of the bugs, do a deep clean and put down some inexpensive vinyl flooring before renting again. On a positive note, it was in walking distance to the sound, it was a nice quiet street and a great location to everything. Stay at your own risk.

Extermination !!

Great location. Although every morning you woke up to roaches in the kitchen, literally in the clock on the stove moving around as well as on the counters. Had the exterminator come out when i called Managment but apparently these little roaches are use to the pesticides. Asked to be moved to a different location but they said they couldn’t do that so i will most definitely not be staying with the Village Realty group again.

Everything we needed! Between the sound and a few blocks from the beach

Very cute and well appointed bungalow that had two bedrooms and one bathroom, just enough for us as a couple and so close to everything we needed. The management company was extremely responsive and it was a great value.
