A great base to explore all the wonderful sights and locations. Positioned right in the centre of Manly with the beach only footsteps away and the Harbour just minutes. Catch the ferry to the city, lots of lovely walks along the promenade to Shelley Beach and beyond. Surrounded by world class restaurants and cafes within a village atmosphere. Parking available, rooftop plunge pool and free BBQ area. Communal laundries with coin operated machines also on the roof. House rule include NO PARTIES, NO LOUD NOISE OR DISTURBANCES AND NO SMOKING.

Oldie but goodie!!

Our host was super with communicating with us. The unit is a bit of an older unit and could use a "face lift" but the location is absolutely fantastic and we recommend allowing the location and the area's benefits to far outweigh any negative. We were there in a bit of cooler time and were okay; however, we can see where the lack of A/C and/or a non-functioning elevator could be a problem. We were pleased with all at this time of year and had not a problem. A great "crash pad" to get some rest but then get out and enjoy the great location!!

Manly break

Could not fault the location, was perfect & the view from the unit was great. Unfortunately we were there on one of the hotest days of the year, with high humidity & no sea breeze so with no air conditioning & inadequate fans, we sweltered. A previous review had said that the freezer was iced over & unfortunately that has not been adressed either. Still enjoyed our stay as you can't beat the location, everywhere is in walking distance, and the unit is lovely, would only stay again in cooler weather

Great location, tired property

The location was excellent, just minutes from Manly Beach, beatiful walks and restaurants. The property itself is tired and in desperate need of a lick of paint, updating and general TLC. One lift was not working for the entire 4 days of our stay, and the one that was working was painfully slow, a lot of waiting when your on the 7th floor. We would recommend summerising the building entry instruction, the essay provided was very confusing.

Cosy and comfortable

I loved staying in this sweet apartment! It was perfect for what I needed. Even though there is no aircon, it was possible to keep the rooms cool enough by closing the blinds against the sun. Beautiful sunrises from the east facing view. Thank you so much!

On the first day of arrival the lifts were not working. I got up to the 7th floor and down but on return to the unit the lifts were not walking and I had to walk up 9 flights of stairs. On a later occasion the same thing happened. I contacted the host to alert her of the situation and she denied my claims. I agree it was not her fault that the lifts were not working but she went straight on the attack instead of recognising the problem. won't be renting from this host ever again.
