Newly Updated Vintage 6 Bedroom Single Family Home by RedAwning

My home was recently renovated with modern comforts while also giving honor to the original vintage charm of the historic landmark neighborhood. The light filled space has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 12 guests. This quiet neighborhood is ideal for a peaceful retreat but close enough to all that Chicago has to offer! Little Italy is just down Taylor Ave. And downtown Chicago and the super popular restaurant corridor of the West Loop/Fulton Market are a short 10 minute drive.


Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.


Guests between the ages of 18-24 are permitted to book on an exception basis only. In your inquiry please provide your age, reason for booking and who will be staying with you.


Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.


Any guest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.


Parking is available in the private driveway and an opener for the gate will be provided with your stay. Street parking is 24-hour permit so please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee additional spots, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.



Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.


1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.

2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property.  Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.

3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.

4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.

5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.

6.) Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and pet fee paid. You will be charged $500 if you bring an unauthorized animal.

7.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.

8.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests.  If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.

10.) Lost and Found:  We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. Please be sure to check the home (including all drawers and closets) before you depart to ensure you have all of your personal belongings.

- I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.

- I acknowledge that I may be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card prior to check in.

- I acknowledge that I may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance by my rental agreement and condition of the booking.


To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of your stay, provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. This information is collected for verification purposes only and is not stored or otherwise used for any other purpose.


We do additional verifications using AutoHost after you book and we reserve the right to reject bookings that fail our tests. Additionally, you must have a good track record on Airbnb as a guest.

Great house but some missing points
Overall it was good but the kitchen was missing rags and a coffee pot. Most important is that the trash can were. Or outside and we have to stay with our full trash inside the house. Nobody came to fix it despite several messages.

Clean & Nice Location
Very clean house. Larger bedrooms are all upstairs. Nicely equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to McCormick Place. Nice beds. Parking was available for our rental car. Great choice for co-workers going to a trade show nearby. Great communication with owner. Would stay here again if in Chicago.
