Tricklebeck cottage is the perfect place for an indulgent romantic mountain hideaway or a peaceful country retreat. The cottage is set on a 6 acres property of glorious gardens and bushland and tucked well away from the main house.

The Neighborhood:
Blue Mountains and beyond

Tricklebeck is only minutes drive from some of the areas best bushwalks and lookouts. Visit Hargraves Lookout for amazing views over Megalong and Kanimbla Valleys. Or drive down to Megalong Valley, through the rainforest and go horseriding. Shipley is also famous for its apple orchards.
Tricklebeck is less than 5 minutes drive from the village of Blackheath, with its world class restaurants, antique shops and lovely cafes and specialty shops. You must try the sourdough from one of the two local bakeries or visit the New Ivanhoe for good old fashioned pub style meals.
There are many local walking tracks at Govetts Leap and Evans Lookout or you could take a short drive to one of the various attractions such as the Megalong Valley, Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Leura Mall and Wentworth Falls, all with their own galleries, antique and craft shops, restaurants, cafes and walks.

Getting Around:
Tricklebeck is less than a 2 hour drive from Sydney, a five minutes drive from Blackheath and a 15 minute drive from Katoomba and the Three Sisters.
There is no public transport to the cottage so a car will be essential.

Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties or gatherings are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit.

Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travellers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. Travellers under the age of 23 that are traveling with a family group with a parent are more then welcome to stay with us.

Our resident alpacas—Adonis (white male), Rosie (darkest female), Annie (smallest female), and Beth (fawn female)—if not out roaming the field they are located in the paddock to the left of the driveway, just past the agapanthus garden. They are often visited by families of kangaroos and ducks. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a wombat who lives in the paddock!

Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, creamer, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.
