Amy was super host - very helpful and responsive! The cottage is on a beautiful lake in Northern Michigan (amazing sunsets) (quiet lake property) House was exactly as advertised! Super clean when arrived and had a wonderful 5 night stay.

Lakefront 3 bedroom with great views & location

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean with updates throughout the house. Great location to so many attractions. Minutes to downtown petoskey & harbor spring. Owners have great communication. Thank you for a wonderful weekend

Clean and comfortable

The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable. We had an amazing ski weekend. Communication with the host was flawless. The house was perfect for our group. Cozy, inviting, with a fantastic view of the lake. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property for a getaway to the Petosky area.

Great place, close to skiing

We stayed at this property in December for a family ski weekend. Only 15-20 minutes from Nub’s Nob and The Highlands. The cottage was clean and comfortable and there was enough room for 7 adults. The flannel sheets were a nice touch for cold nights. We did have a slight maintenance issue but the owners were quick and responsive and it was fixed in no time. Thank you for a wonderful place for our family to spend time together.

Ski get away

Family had a great time skiing. The Highlands and Knob nob’s is not to far away. It was nice to look out at the lake. House was cozy and had everything we needed.

Peaceful and fun

We had a great time during our stay. The house is adorable and the locations is perfect. Close to many different attractions. Sitting in the dock or by the fire pit and watching the beautiful sunsets was so relaxing. Amy was a great host as well.

Great Lake Front Experience

While the weather wasn't perfect while we were here, the rental unit was in great shape and allowed for flexibility and privacy as needed. We rented kayaks and they were a ton of fun. Amy was very responsive and very helpful. Would recommend for anyone!

Crooked lake getaway

Our family of four had the best time at this cottage on crooked lake! The cottage has everything you need but also plenty of room to store your own things. Spacious closets in the bedrooms and cabinet space in the kitchen and bathrooms too. It’s newly remodeled and has all the amenities. We loved the large deck facing the water and our kids played in the yard, beach area, and lake for hours a day. They could easily get in and out of the water from the dock and the water level was perfect for them to swim while still touching the bottom. We also had a fire every night in the fire pit. Amy was super responsive prior to and during our stay. This was our best vacation to northern Michigan yet!

Beautiful Setting

Great position on Crooked Lake with a view of the hills and lake. Nice to get out of town for peace and quiet, but still not too far to ski resorts. Amy was helpful upon arrival, just remember that paper products are not included. The house accommodated 10 surprisingly well even though it is not large. Would recommend.

Wonderful Family Home!

We rented this cottage for a week at the end of July for my family (2 adults 3 kids 6,3 & 1). Any my parents stayed with us for two nights. There was plenty of space! The home was very clean when we arrived (but there are no paper products, hand soap or laundry soap- FYI). The home was situated with a small man made beach on the water, bon fire pit and nice wooden dock my kids fished off of. The cottage is perfectly located close to Petoskey & Harbor Springs. Thanks for a great week!!

Amazing!

This house is absolutely amazing! It is so quiet and peaceful here. The view is awesome and the sunsets are gorgeous to watch each night. Our kids wanted to get in the lake as soon we got there. The dock is perfect and of course the kids loved the kayaks too. The kids never wanted to leave - not even to go into town to explore or go out to eat. There is plenty of room in this house. The kids loved the upstairs with all the beds and of course loved walking out on the deck to look out over the water. The yard is big enough to play family games or just sit and relax. After a full day on the water, we would come back and relax to watch the sunset and have a bonfire (which they provide). Amy and John have truly put a lot of work and love into this house. They are amazing people to rent from and are always there if you ever need anything (which we never did). They are from the area and can give you plenty of great places to visit as well as good places to go and eat. If you are looking for a great (and very clean) place to rent... this is the place. It is the perfect house away from home. I promise you will make many family memories and you will want to keep going back! I know we do! :)

A Great Time Had By All!

This is our second time renting a cottage from Amy and John Flynn. The cottages ( we have stayed in both ) are clean, very well appointed and the grounds are well kept with views and sunsets that are second to none on Crooked Lake. We enjoyed all the wildlife including Bald Eagles and a family of Loons! Fish off the dock or take a nap in the hammock. Both cottages have very nice decks for relaxing in a deck chair or having family meals outdoors. Propane grill included! Night time we used the firepit for s'mores and enjoying adult beverages. Amy always answered my questions in a timely manner and I appreciated her ideas and suggestions. Great restaurants and marina's are within east driving distance. These cottages over deliver. We will definitely rent from the Flynn's again.

Amazing, clean beautiful family cottage on the lake, the perfect location too!

What a wonderful place to stay. Totally clean, very nice owners, beautiful view, and so comfortable. We stayed here over the 4th of July week, and had an amazing time with our family. It sleeps a bunch of people, and is perfect for a family with kids. We loved the lake access, the back porch, BBQ grill, fire pit, and was able to dock our boat there for the week. It's a short drive to downtown Petoskey, Pirates Cove, grocery and restaurants. We will for sure stay here again.
