This cosy and modern 2 bedroom apartment in Adina Serviced Apartments in Kingston is the perfect base while visiting Canberra. It's within walking distance of two restaurant districts, the lake and the parliamentary triangle which showcases Canberra's major cultural attractions.
NOTE: Check-in is strictly between 3 pm - 6 pm on Monday to Saturday, and 3 pm - 5:30 pm on Sunday as the complex is locked at night and you will not be able to access the keys. No option for late check-in.
NOTE: The Internet is going to be out while a new connection is sorted. This is going to take a couple of weeks.
This apartment is on the 2nd level of the building and has elevator access for ease of coming and going. The apartment is facing north, so it is filled with the glorious afternoon sun.
Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds topped with freshly laundered professional and pressed linen. The bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is very spacious and includes a laundry with a washer/dryer. We provide complimentary towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash.
Kitchen:
Please make use of the fully equipped kitchen. In it you'll find:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop/oven
- microwave
- crockery and cutlery
- We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee, and tea.
Living Room:
The living room has a comfortable couch and a 55" Samsung TV which you can use to access your Netflix and YouTube accounts. It also has access to all local channels. Note that we don't provide Netflix, YouTube, and other online streaming platforms subscriptions so you will have to use your own account.
Laundry:
Washer-dryer combo is available for your use, as well as an iron and ironing board.
Parking:
There is a car space around 500M to the right of the apartment building.
You are free to park anywhere you want; there are no penalties for parking in an undesignated area.
Park in any spot that is not labelled as "reserved" and head to the lifts in the back right corner.
There is a non-secure visitor parking area located at the front of the apartment complex after you go down the driveway.
COMMON AREAS & AMENITIES:
You will have access to the building's BBQ Area, pool, and sauna throughout your stay.
The common areas are managed by the building management and can be closed without prior notice to owners. We try our best to get the most accurate information to update the listing description as much as we can. In this regard, please check for building announcements at the time of your arrival to confirm the availability of common areas.
Check in information will be sent two days before your check in date and any codes will be sent four hours before your arrival, to prevent fraudulent bookings.
This is a self check-in apartment. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee.
The apartment is located within a close walking distance of the cafes, pubs and restaurants in Kingston and Manuka. Coles in Manuka is the closest major supermarket.
Bikes for hire - available for guests. You are welcome to rent a bike so you can go out and bike at the area.
Parking is included. Bus stops are a short walk away.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a non-negotiable $2000 penalty, in addition to any damages.
1. Please let us know if you need to check in early or leave later than the standard times. We will charge $55 for each hour of non-scheduled delay to check out after 10 am.
2. I have a STRICT "No Pets Policy" and "No Smoking Policy". These are applicable inside and outside of the property. Any breach will result in a fine of $400 plus any additional fees for specialised cleaning.
3. The cleaning fee covers the general cleaning and replacement of quality linen in the property. Please try to leave the place as tidy as possible. If the property is extra messy when you leave, an extra cleaning fee will be charged (minimum of $50).
4. Please be sure you understand our cancellation policies. You can find our current policy via your booking channel.
5. Only those persons who made the reservation may stay at our property. If you're a business or government agency booking for other people, please contact us in advance to ensure access details are made clear.
6. No parties or gatherings of more than the maximum number of booked guests are permitted. All non-guests must leave the home by 10:00 pm. No loud noises or music are permitted after 10:00 pm. There is a $2000 penalty for breaching this rule.
7. Some consumable items have been left for you in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, milk), that you are most welcome to use. Also, the pantry has a few basics - no need to ask, just help yourself. We don't stock the refrigerator or provide any meals.
8. The property is not child-proofed and we don't have specific amenities for infants (i.e. high chair, cot). However, children under adult supervision are permitted.
