We had a fabulous family holiday at Villa Terri and the sea views were stunning. The villa is located midway down the hill side so there is a steep walk down from the road and then a further walk down from the villa to a path by the sea which takes you to a gorgeous quiet marina with lovely restaurants with views over the water. Anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The villa was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday.

the view was amazing! the home was wonderful with plenty of space for everyone to spend time together but also decompress on their own if needed. It was a bit of a hike to get to the property, but once there it was much easier to get to town via back stairs that are still a little tricky to navigate but allowed sea access and its walkable to town. We absolutely loved our stay in this quiet but gorgeous town!

Beautiful View, Quiet. As advertised.

Had a great time renting this villa. The view was absolutely wonderful. The evening sunsets were very memorable. I liked being away from the tourist areas with a short walk into the fishing town and marina of Massa Lubrense for dinner each evening. The pool was refreshing and the house was big enough for the entire family. The house delivered as advertised. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Stay - Highly Recommend.

Really enjoyed the villa, the village and the amalfi coast. The villa had spacious bedrooms, lots of bathrooms and great common areas. The walk down and up is doable (5-10 minutes if you take your time) and is a ramp for most of the distance. We enjoyed the location - about 10 minutes to the village for bread, groceries and pharmacy, and 10 minutes along the beach to pizza restaurant, boat tours or swim in the ocean. Giada our concierge helped arrange transport and Pompei tours and the like. HIghly recommended.

Beautiful villa with a spectacular view of the sea.

The walkway was long and steep, but that's how most of the properties are in this area. The Villa was very beautiful with a stunning view of the sea and walking distance to 2 restaurants. I wish some of the trees were trimmed a bit so the view would have been more spectacular, and I thought the 350.00 Euro cleaning deposit was a bit high since we were only there for a few nights. Overall, however, I would recommend this place to others - definitely!

Family Vacation

The home is lovely with beautiful views and a pool perfect for the whole family. The small port was in walking distance with restaurants and a small store. Giuseppe was wonderful at check-in and check-out. We would recommend this house to families. It would be very difficult for people with mobility issues.

30th birthday celebrations.

It was a lovely stay at the villa for our 30th birthdays. Really helpful hosts, very easy to contact and happy to help all the time. Villa is accessible by a steep hill which can be difficult for some people and with luggage. Porter service available to help with it.

Booked Villa Terri for a girls trip. Amazing view, clean and cool pool and perfect for large groups! we enjoyed the easy water front access and made use of the large kitchen for group meals. The walk down from the road to the Villa is quite steep, recommend to book the luggage service. The Villa was very helpful with transfers and we found this was the most affordable option for exploring the coast. Our agent was also very helpful with activities and advice prior to arrival. Be sure to bring plenty of toilet paper for larger groups and cash for deposit and cleaning fee, which they requested up front. Thanks for a great, memorable stay!

Simply stunning location!

An absolutely wonderful one week stay at this beautiful villa - the location, views and staff are second to none! Giuseppe was a brilliantly attentive host, with excellent suggestions/bookings for local restaurants/markets etc. always on-hand via whatsapp and always happy to help - thank you! Perfect for days by the pool looking out towards Capri and Ischia with a beautiful walk to the local marina for some small bars/shops/restaurants. The villa itself, while beautiful and perfectly placed, could honestly do with a bit of modernisation in places (kitchen/bathrooms) but these are minor niggles and do not detract from the overall experience, which was Excellent! We hope to visit again someday!

Large Family Vacation

We loved the views and the convenience of the Marina. There we found restaurants and a small store. We booked a Capri boat tour and it left from the local marina. There is also a Sita bus stop at the marina which was easy to get to. The villa was spacious and we all had plenty of room. The balcony was perfect for family gatherings for dinner and drinks. The location was quiet and relaxing. The air conditioning worked great. Our concierge, Giada was great! Responded quickly to all of our needs and helped arrange a driver to Path of the Gods. Teresa, the housekeeper is also great!! She helped with everything, from showing us how to use the dishwasher to repairing a broken shower head! Their service was excellent. We loved that we could have a service take our luggage back up the steep driveway! Totally worth it! We needed help to figure out how to run the dishwasher and never got the oven to work, which could have been operator error. When we tried to use certain appliances a breaker would trip. We chalked it up to it being an old house. Some of the beds could use new mattresses as they were not very comfortable. The house is definitely old and could use updating but you do get the italian charm.

Beautiful views, difficult location

The winding road and stairs down to the property is difficult. Coming up worse pushing a suitcase. Very clean. Instructions on the washer and dryer would have been helpful We finally figured out why the dryer kept stopping the water reservoir was full and needed empty. No salt or pepper on site. Truly have to bring everything to make a meal. Was charged for a cleaning fee already paid for , no reply back from my emails showing I had already paid the 450 euros. Demanded on on arrival. Poor communication trying to get tacis to pick us up Not full from us. Found it odd therstairs a

Great property with some issues but attentive hosts

Overall, it's a property with stunning potential. The views show stopping, and the local village and swimming holes are super charming. It's a big villa, with a lot of room and charm, but some needs for upgrading. Pros: The pool, pool loungers and location are superb. There are really good restaurants and cafes both 15 mins up or down the hill from the villa! It's spacious with 3 good sized bathrooms and a separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The TV and internet worked great if no power issues. Amore and the reps renting this property were very responsive and supportive, esp Giada and Teresa, the housekeeper. Cons: The ants outside made eating al fresco not possible, and we had to battle to keep them from over running the inside. But the villa is built on a hill speckled with lemon and olive trees so hard not to have these invaders. The beds are definitely not the most comfortable, and the kitchen utensils and pans could use some massive updating. We had a pretty significant power issue while there that caused outages and impacted ability to run AC during a heat wave. While this was truly unlucky, again the Amore reps were very responsive and understanding and supportive. They have assured us the power issue has been resolved. They were also very helpful in trying to abate the ant issue. I would love to give this property another go in late September, when the temps wouldn't be so boiling and maybe the ants will have calmed down.

Outstanding in every way

Eight adults in their sixties stayed in our group. Stayed for 10 days. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen in well stocked and the place was very clean. Everything worked great but wi fi tough upstairs but it’s a big house. The bedrooms are comfortable, plenty of balcony space available from the bedrooms with windows everywhere and the breeze off the ocean passes through the house keeping it fresh. There are also remote controlled air conditioning / heat in each room so everyone could adjust the sleeping temperature in each bedroom as they like. This part of Massa Lubrense is spectacular location close enough to everything along the coast and it has a charming church and village center. The place is Walking distance to the marina that has some nice restaurants and a great place for amazing croissants warm out of the oven. Wow! The views are simply amazing from all rooms in the house abd the windows are huge. You feel like you are really in the landscape. The only negative is the steep access and this is not for people who have mobility issues. Also unless you are young you definitely want the porter service. It’s not too expensive and very easy to arrange since they live close by. They will use a three wheel small truck that does the trick. Finally, Theresa who watches over the property and helped arrange the porter lives next door and is very gracious. Their are some Nieghbor who were also very nice to us and In fact we we felt welcome everywhere in Mass Lubrense including Easter Sunday Mass in the local church Highly recommend to everyone except those with mobility issues.

A wonderful stay, but not for everyone

Our family of 8, including a 10 and 7 year old had a wonderful week long stay at Villa Terri, but it is not for everyone, especially anyone with mobility issues or a fear of hilly terrain. The home is from the 70’s and has a bit of a “worn “ appearance. It can benefit from some TLC and upgraded electric service. Several electric outlets did not work. An easy fix but requires some effort and willingness to spruce up the place and spend a bit of $. That is an owner issue. That said, the villa is laid out in a very functional manner. The downstairs is very open and comfortable but it’s time to replace the couches. Upstairs are 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths and good a/c systems in each bedroom. Wi-Fi is strong on first floor but not strong enough upstairs. An extender could fix this. The antiquated gas stove should be upgraded. Again, a desire to spruce the place up is required by the owner. The pool is very nice and the liner is relatively new. As you can tell from pictures the views are stunning. We are an active family who didn’t mind the up/downs required to reach the beach/marina area or the upper road for car service or to walk into Massa town center. From a value standpoint, I had looked at numerous other properties which were much more expensive so I expected a few flaws, as noted above. I feel the property was described fairly on line. Massa Lubrense is a very quiet area vs Sorrento. It’s about 5k beyond Sorrento and has many very good restaurants, plus the marina

Family Italy vacation

House offers the best views imaginable. Pool excellent after busy day of touring. House was comfortable and well cooled (air conditioner) in every room. Yes climbs to ocean and to road are steep but manageable unless very infirmed or have orthopedic issues (76 to fit mother and 8 yo made it up and down). Location makes it difficult to get to places without care unless prepared to pay $ for taxi. More ants than desirable but there is ample spray and manageable….it is a country house surrounded by trees. Hosts very amenable and helped us get food to house (highly recommend) as we had no car. If you want to not be in the center of a crowd, quiet with unparraled views of bay of Naples, capri this is the house for you.

Very good, but needs a little finish

We were three families who stayed for a week. Very good house for our needs. Fantastic view, good location and large common areas. Sleeps 10, would not recommend for more. There were some small damages to furniture, parasols were missing and the pool was green when we arrived. But it was quickly fixed by the property team, and we had a very good time. The house is fantastic, but it has some wear and should have little finish to be perfect.
