Was perfect for our group of 9. We had a very relaxed holiday. The air-conditioning worked perfectly in the August peak summer. Shower pressure was perfect. Great pool. For parking, you do have to navigate a couple of narrow stretches. An A5 fit through but you also may have the occasional oncoming car/scooter to contend with. Parking (200m) below is a great option.When you exit the villa to the left, you can snake your way down to the town area (10 min walk max) where you can get some quick supplies and coffee at Gang cafe. There's a photographer two doors down from the cafe in case you want to capture some holiday moments.Overall, highly recommend.

A little oasis

This is an ideal property for a large group stay on the Amalfi Coast. It is spacious and comfortable for a couple of families, and the pool is a welcome respite from the summer heat. The road to the house is typically narrow but manageable and the shortcut down the hill to the nearby village gives you walking access to cafes, restaurants and a little supermarket. Would definitely recommend as a base for the Amalfi Coast.

Wonderful!

This property is beautiful with amazing views from the bedrooms in the main house. The owner lives next door and available to answer questions. We used the Feeling Italy concierge service for arranging a private boat to Capri, a tour of Amalfi Coast, transfers to and from Naples, and had a private chef one evening. Everything was perfectly organized. We did not have a car which would have been handy for trips into Sorrento or the store. Excellent place to stay with large family! We enjoyed our time at Villa Mimosa and would highly recommend!

Beautiful and Clean

We recently returned from a stay at Villa Mimosa and enjoyed every minute. The property was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of tiny ants in the yard, but that should be expected. Nothing to worry about and they didn’t bother me. The only warning is the drive into the property, you need a very small car. We had a medium size, Alfa Romeo Guiletta and it made it but anything bigger wouldn’t fit. Overall we loved our time there and would highly recommend it.

The villa was excellent with very comfortable rooms, impeccable grounds and an amazing view. We especially loved the lemon grove on the grounds of the villa. The check in process and villa host service leaves a lot to be desired. Our group of nine had to navigate getting to the villa from the main road on foot. No one was there to greet/meet us as was initially mentioned. Then, we had to wait outside the locked gate for several minutes before someone came to let us in. We were hurriedly shown the rooms in the villa; we were not given an instructions on how to use the household amenities. There was no follow up to see how we were doing or assistance except when solicited. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed the location and atmosphere of the location. We learned of a shortcut to the shops nearby from one of the friendly shopkeepers close to the villa and we used it often during our stay.

We are however very sorry that your arrival experience did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, your driver did not contact our host prior to arrival as requested, and for this reason she was not able to be there to welcome you directly at the entrance. We completely understand how this may have caused inconvenience and we sincerely apologize. Regarding the assistance during your stay, our approach is to remain available at all times but in a discreet way, to ensure guests can fully enjoy their privacy. That said, we always appreciate this kind of feedback as it helps us improve the overall guest experience. The place is wonderful. The only downfall is it is far from anything. So you must use private transfers to get anywhere. We loved the house though
