The apartment is the home of the owner and was very generously stocked with everything you could need. The location, near Paddington station, was extremely central. We liked the individuality of the way the apartment was decorated. The owner was easy to contact and very responsive. Altogether highly recommended.

Luxury and Location

The apartment is lovely with beautiful furnishings and all the amenities you need to land and have a relaxing vacation or functional work trip. The location is ideal to walk to sites or hop on a train. The beds, linens and bathrooms all feel like a luxury hotel. Marie responded quickly to any question we had. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect

From the location to the beauty and function of the flat, it’s a perfect choice for London. Paddington Perfect

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in Marie’s beautifully appointed home during the holidays. The flat is centrally located and so close to the tube and shopping nearby as well as easy access to all London has to offer, theatre, museums and Hyde Park just a few blocks away. We highly recommend this beautiful home and are very thankful to our gracious host - we hope to return soon and would definitely stay at Marie’s again.

Wimbledon stay

Property is in a great location with plenty of walking opportunities for pubs, dinner, shopping and just enjoying Hyde park. We came to London to see Wimbledon and that was amazing. Marie is a gracious and extremely responsive host so that was all very much appreciated (even when some unexpected issues arose) Really enjoyed our time in her flat.

Elegant London Flat near Paddington

The space, the location, the TV, the internet speed, the fully outfitted eat-in kitchen, the comfortable beds, the 2-1/2 bathrooms, the washer & dryer, the pretty dining room, the turntable with a selection of vinyl and the elegant decor made for a fabulous and very comfortable month long stay for us in London! The owner response and communication was also very good.

Gorgeous flat!

I can’t decide which was more fantastic, the hostess or the flat! Upon arrival, the flat was spotless and just beautiful. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil you could need. She also had some little, but important items, such as multiple hairdryers, curling iron, robes, electric tea kettle (fast!), Dyson fans (no A/C), and variety of phone chargers on the nightstand. The location was nice as well. Paddington station is very close. The hostess was very communicative, kind, and accommodating for our early arrival and late departure. We had a fabulous stay!

One of the best stays ever.

If I could rate our stay higher than five stars, I happily would. Marie was so easy to communicate with and very helpful about restaurants and other things. The flat itself was amazing. I think it was built around 1840 and still has some of the original marble floors and hardwood. Everything there, though, was totally modern. The kitchen was fully stocked with every kitchen, tool, and appliance you would ever need. It’s also in a very convenient location and in a very nice neighborhood.

This property was stunning! The pictures don't lie! The sitting room was a light-filled, comfy expression of elegance. We spent most of the time we were in the apartment in that lovely room. The bedrooms both had attached baths and there were charging accessories thoughtfully placed near the beds. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and had a separate eating area. There were a washer and dryer that were easy to figure out and that worked perfectly.In terms of location, the apartment was a block and a half from Paddington Station, and a five-minute walk to Hyde Park. Little Venice was five minutes in the other direction. In any direction, there were wonderful places to eat and drink. This really was "Location, location, location".Finally, Marie, our host, was fantastic. She was thoughtful and friendly and responded to any questions we had quickly and helpfully. Any instructions we needed for the home were provided and were very clear. She filled the apartment with wonderful, artful touches. It is easy to see why she is a Super Host.All in all, I would highly recommend this experience.

Beautiful flat in a perfect location.

This flat is a gem. Marie was wonderful to work with and very responsive. It’s an easy walk from Paddington Station, so using the Heathrow Express to/from the airport was very easy. There is also parking if you need a car. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful flat

My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved the flat! Marie's decorating is gorgeous. It is spacious, well stocked and convenient. Marie was a dream to work with - proactively communicated with us, was warm and friendly and very organized! Our only (slight) issue was that there was construction nearby and there was a bit of noise during the day- a temporary situation obviously and not a problem at night. The proximity to Paddington was convenient- although that area is pretty busy/industrial.....the areas toward the park and to the west were more charming. Marie also left a book of suggestions that highlighted restaurants, bars and attractions that we found very helpful. This is a real winner for location, customer friendliness and beautiful aesthetics!!

Positive Family Fun!

Took a trip to London with my 2 Adults Daughters - our first of hopefully many more!! The Flat we stayed in was a pleasure to be in! Reality meets the pictures! The service was outstanding overall! The only real hiccup was slow internet wifi...but that could be a good thing - forces you to talk more! haha! The Flat has all the adult amenities needed! Overall - it was a joy and fun to stay!

Lovely flat!

Lovely flat! Perfect for two couples. Walking distance to most sites and near abuse park. Marie was great to work with. Very responsive to questions. Would stay again when in London.

Wonderful flat to call “home” during our holiday week in London

Very elegant historic flat, nicely furnished and equipped, lovely residential neighborhood conveniently located within short walking distance to parks and tube station, and other amenities. Very comfortable and quiet to get a good night’s rest. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the kitchen, which was well equipped. Owner was very attentive and responsive to all inquiries. In short, a memorable vacation stay, highly recommended.

Wonderful luxury apartment

Very luxuriously appointed and comfortable flat; superbly located in a wonderful neighborhood with shopping, restaurants, pubs, train station and oh yeah......Hyde Park and Kensington Palace within walking distance.......definitely recommend!

Clean and convenient

Very clean, lovely, convenient to everything. The owner Marie was very helpful and responded quickly throughout our correspondence.. I love to walk so was pleased to have Hyde Park only 10 minutes away. I truly enjoyed staying in Marie’s flat.

Wonderful and true to the photographs

Easy, no issues stay in a perfect location, steps from Kensington Gardens, Paddington station. Mari's apartment is spacious and inviting. Just like a home with all its conveniences such as great pillows, lovely bed linen, and fluffy white towels. Plenty of wardrobe space. Just perfect.

Awesome location

Great location and apartment. It was well furnished and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would choose it again if we return to London. It was very close to the tube and several restaurants within walking distance

Live in the opulence or the old world in heart of London with all its modern conveniences. This is not a rental flat, it is a home. Although central, it is a quiet oasis, as the flat is set back from the street and the main bedroom is in the back of the flat and has secondary glazing.
