Mixed experience depending on which bedroom you are in

All the rooms were nice apart from one of the bedroom which was like a 2 star rating. Whilst my friends bedroom was like a 5 star rating. In otherwords I had 2 star experience whilst the rest had a 4/5 star experience. If they sort out that 3rd bedroom to be at the same level at the rest. Easy 4/5 star. Location, check in and everything else was superb.

Beautiful Garden Oasis in Firenze

We loved our 1 night stay at La Ninfea in the quiet San Lorenzo neighborhood. Great communication from host Gianmarco and Mauro who met us to check us in. Space was comfortable and clean and the garden was absolutely lovely. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Florence. Be aware that VRBO check in/out times are incorrect on this listing. Check with host for more accurate info. Loved the quiet neighborhood and close proximity to the train and the duomo too.

Pretty place, not accommodating.

When we arrived, we waited for the owner to come open the building door and show us in. The apartment was ok and the garden was nice. The owner immediately took passport pictures and our money for taxes. We were not warned and he was very abrupt. We knew about the taxes, thank goodness, therefore had cash. The owner was abrupt, borderline rude. We were told to be out by 10am the next day even though the post on vrbo says 11am checkout. He would not budge and was rude about it. We had 8 people including 2 preteens and one 18 year old. I asked for sheets for the pull out and the owner/host said no, ‘you have room for 8’. I explained that would make the young people sleep with the old in the double beds. This was unacceptable and the owner/host ignored my request when I explained this. In addition, only one key worked and we were almost locked out right away. I attempted to log a complaint with vrbo. This process was difficult and basically they said just ‘send a review’. I am very disappointed. Be warned about this property. I am an avid traveler and have made life long friends of many hosts. This is truly my first bad review. Also, I have found that other sites have a better response when needed. I expected much more.

almost perfect in every way

my sister and I stayed at this property for the month of May. Third trip to Florence and we knew what we wanted. we were very pleased. a 30 day stay is quite a long time and the owner, Gianmarco was great. he met us upon arrival, was helpful whenever we had a question. we needed items that a short term renter may not have even noticed such as additional kitchen items, we cooked regularly. the property was as advertised. AC was great. the location is wonderful, easy access to Central market and other grocery stores, everything immediately around San Lorenzo. train station relatively close. having first floor was wonderful particularly due my physical health issues. and the back yard was special for city center living. although there is no 'living room' space, we set up the sofa area with a coffee table and regularly used that space in the evenings . the kitchen table and furniture in back yard were more than adequate and used regularly. we would (and will) definitely rent this property again.

Bell'alloggio in posizione eccellente

Bella casa con 3 stanze matrimoniali (una diventa da 4 persone aprendo il divano-letto. Una camera matrimoniale non ha il bagno in camera ma in corridoio. Cucina ben fornita con pentolame nuovo (mancano delle ciotole). Carrefour express a 200 mt comodissimo. In 5 minuti a piedi i si è in centro passando per una stradina un pò degradata frequentata da stranieri (cinesi ed asiatici) ma senza alcun problema di sicurezza. Giardino bellissimo peccato che ci sono andato d'inverno.

Awesome apartment

We loved the apartment. Very spacious and updated. Furnishings were nice. No living space but we didn’t stay in apartment to need it. Check in was easy. We could walk everywhere. Nice restaurants near by and a good grocery market

Beautiful Florence apartment

Very nice and very spacious. Exactly as the photos, with a gorgeous back yard! Everything is updated and very comfortable. Gianmarco is very quick to respond and a great host!. The master bedroom has a small sitting area , so no true living room, but the outside space is great for that. The location is really great, walking distance to all sights, and many restaurants, coffee shops , shopping and the train station. Ideal location! We enjoyed our stay very much!
