Fantastic apartment centrally located in Florence

This apartment is simply perfect for a couple. My wife and I spent 4 nights in late March 2024. Our experience started with a very warm welcome by one of the property hosts, Sergio, besides helping with our luggage, he provided a lot of suggestions and information regarding places to visit. The other property host Chiara was also very helpful and responsive when we contacted her regarding some questions. The hosts provided some welcome gifts such as chocolates, cake and water among others. The apartment is located 5 minutes walking from the train station and has a magnificent view of the Santa Maria Novella Piazza. Although very busy with tourist once you closed the windows the noise level became very quiet. The apartment is well equipped with a practical kitchen and a very nice bathroom, Above all the cleanliness of the apartment was a major plus. Will definitively stay here on our next visit.

Wonderful stay overlooking plaza square

I am so grateful to our hosts for our wonderful 5 day stay in the heart of Florence. It was near the train station and near the main attractions in the city as well as near many great restaurants. We enjoyed being able to overlook the square and its activities. We HIGHLY recommend staying at this VRBO apartment. Perfect for a couple or single traveler.

Great Information!

The information provided by the host was premier! It was all very helpful. The weeks following Easter are very busy with lots of student tours and vacationers. The nightlife was lively, but closing the shutters helps--I had very restful sleeps. The apartment itself was very comfortable and the hosts provide such amenities--coffee, cream, sugar--just like home! I loved it here and will stay again when I get back to Florence.

A great location for venturing around Florence itself, minutes fromm the train station, Duomo, Uffizi Gallery and more. Especially enjoyed the fully outfitted apartment with all the modern conviences. Wonderful place to explore Florence

From the moment I booked this beautiful apartment Chiara was the perfect host! This unit is at the heart of Florence easy to navigate around. I will 100% be booking again with Chiara. She also was very fast to reply when I needed directions for the Tram. Can’t say enough how great her and her dad are. Loved it!

Perfect

The process of booking this apartment could not have been simpler or easier. The owners—a Father and daughter—communicated regularly and precisely and answered every question plus more. They provided a book of places to eat, drink, visit as well as directions. It was extremely helpful. The location is perfect with the train station minutes away and the location on a piazza with multiple dining choices. A five to ten minute walk put us wherever we wanted to be. At night the sound insulated windows kept the outside noise at bay. We could not have been happier with our stay and we look forward to staying here in the future as well as sending our family and friends here as well.

Best Location & Great Apartment

Just a 5 minute walk from the train station. Excellent location and view from the apartment. Wonderful service. The owner made sure that we were met on our arrival. We were acquainted with the apartment and given information on what to do and see. The apartment was adorable and perfectly appointed. The owner provided amenities that were nice like expresso and water. The location was excellent with small cafes all around. We were just a few minutes away from the center of town. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We had the perfect stay in Florence from start to finish. Apartment Giotto it’s just a few steps central train station in Florence, on the lively Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Sergio was on the lookout for us and greeted us even before we got to the address. The apartment was clean, centrally located, with everything we needed for five days stay in Florence. Can’t wait to stay again.

Stunning apartment in perfect location.

We cannot recommend this property highly enough! From the helpful and informative check in with Chiara, to our first view of the bright, charming apartment, our stay was excellent. The property was even nicer than the pictures suggested and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was superb and the vista of Piazza Santa Maria Novella from the windows was lovely. Chiara was wonderful and available for any questions. We hope to return to Florence and we would definitely stay at this beautiful apartment again.

Die lage der Ferienwohnung ist ideal, denn man kann in Florenz alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Nahe an Bahnhof, Bussen und Straßenbahnen. Der Platz Santa Maria Novella ist verkehrsberuhigt mit einem Angebot unterschiedlicher Restaurants und Bars. Die Ferienwohnung ist ideal für 2 Personen, sehr charmanter Charakter, sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr freundliche Vermietung.

Fantastic location. Great apartment

We stayed at the apartment for 3 weeks. The apartment was in a great location, close to all the major sites and also close to all the lesser known (but equally amazing) churches, museums and sites. It was also steps away from the train station, tram line and bus depot, for day trips out of town. The apartment was very comfortale and it was so lovely to have the beautiful space to unwind in after a busy day of sightseeing. The view was spectacular. Sergio and Anna Maria were wonderful and very helpful with some sight seeing tips. Thanks so much for the New Olive Oil! It was amazing. We did not meet Chiara but her pre visit assistance was equally as helpful. We highly recommend this apartment (unit 1). Should we return to Florence again, we will certainly stay there.

Wonderful location and hospitality.

Our second stay in this apartment was as enjoyable as our first. The apartment has brilliant views of Saint Maria Novella church and is ideally positioned to walk to all the major sights of Florence. It is the extraordinary hospitality of Chiara and her father Sergio that made our stay especially enjoyable. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to feel at home, particularly the thoughtful extras such as the delicious biscuits and sweets left for us. The lift to the second floor is very useful to anyone who is travelling with big suitcases. With several very warm days we appreciated the air conditioning in the main room and also the bedroom. While the apartment overlooks the main piazza it is very quiet at night and the double glazing works wonderfully. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes etc. We are already planning a return visit.

A perfect place in Florence

We stayed here the first week in September, 2018, and loved it! Although not large, the apartment was full of character and charm, and provided us plenty of space to relax and enjoy a city we love so much. It is exactly as pictured on the VRBO website. An added plus is the small but welcome elevator. It's biggest attraction, for us anyway, was the location. Located overlooking the Piazza S.M. Novella, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the Duomo, but far enough away that you could escape the crowds to a park-like setting. One end of the piazza is Santa Maria Novella cathedral, but there are also a number of outdoor cafes and the always important gelatto shop. We did very little cooking, but the kitchen area is well equipped if that is your choice. There is a small grocery near by as well as a pharmacy. For anyone arriving by train, the apartment is an easy walk from the station, so a cab would not be a necessity. We were met at the apartment by one of the owners, Sergio, who gave us a quick introduction to how things like the a/c worked, and then a very enthusiastic overview of Florence. The owners had prepared a binder which described nearby restaurants, bakeries, and tourist attractions, etc. We followed some of his suggestions about places to eat and they were spot-on. This was our third visit to Florence,but by far the most enjoyable. Previously we had stayed in a hotel, which we enjoyed, but this time was special, and our apartment was a big reason why. What a wonderful stay!!

Everything about our stay was perfect from start to finish. Chiara had been very helpful throughout the booking process - very accommodating, answering all our questions. Chiara's father met us for check-in and went over all the particulars of the apartment. We appreciated that every detail had been considered, including a very helpful binder with excellent recommendations of restaurants, activities etc. The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything including the main train station, a grocery store and a laundromat. Each evening there were musicians in the beautiful piazza that would fill the air with their music. The apartment itself is lovely and our overall experience was outstanding - thank you so much Chiara!!

Great location! Few minutes walk to train station and close to the Duomo, leather market and many other attractions. The shampoo, body wash , conditioner help the guests a lot. The snacks they have there is really good ediecially the candies. It’s clean apartment and ideal for 4 people. The host was very thorough and gave us a lot of suggestions where to go. You can find wonderful fresh seafood, and fruits at the fish market and you must try Florentine steak

Yes perfect location but a basic apartment

We were met by Anna and Sergio who were really wonderful in explaining their city to us and where to go and I really do hate to show fault but they told us that the air con was leaking in the main room which ment that when you turned it on water was constantly dripping on the floor so she left us old towels and a basin and as it was saturday the people would not be here until Monday, they eventually came on Tuesday the morning we were leaving, water stopped working but she fixed that as soon as we told her, fridge smelt a bit and only 1 tiny wardrobe for 4 people, we were told that we could take our time leaving we told her it would be around 12 , she then told us that she made a mistake and people were coming that night so we would have to be out by 10 she then arrived at the door at 9.50 and as the air con people were with her we felt rushed out of the apartment, we were allowed to leave our bags in the hallway until 12 when our bus left, this could have been one of those things were everything goes wrong at once and I suppose with the other excellent reviews this is what must have happened
