Incredible place

This place was so unique, I can see why so many people love coming here. Having never been to this part of Texas - it’s a world unto itself -The property was super clean, well stocked, and the perfect get away if you are looking for rest and relaxation! Highly recommend!

Perfect location for exploring.

The location outside of Karnak is perfect for exploring the area. It was a short drive to the historic towns of Jefferson and Marshall. It was minutes away from the State park and the National Wildlife Refuge. The boat tour was also nearby. The home is right on the river and has a huge deck beside the water where you can relax and enjoy the sights.

Perfect!

What a great place! It was perfect for us. Some of the things we loved: - Sitting out on the magnificent boat house deck. Gorgeous! - So easy to get the kayaks out on the water. - Easy paddle down the bayou and into the lake. Being alone out in the swamp was magical. - The house was comfortable for a group of adults, with a cozy seating area that fit all of us, as did the dining area. - Restaurants close by for when we didn’t want to cook, though we mostly cooked at the house. - Easy communication with landlord. We’d definitely go again and recommend this property.

Great Getaway!

We recently stayed at this beautiful lake house with our family of four, it was an unforgettable experience! The home was clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was stocked with essentials, which made it easy to reheat prepped meals. We especially enjoyed having a meal on the deck overlooking the bayou . The lake access was a huge plus! We brought our Pontoon along and spent every day exploring the Bayou and Lake Caddo. We would highly recommend this house to any family looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views and water access

Great place.

Loved It!

Beautiful Deck

We loved our stay at this rental! We had a 1 year old with us and never had to worry about her safety because the whole HUGE deck is covered and fenced…and tons of ceiling and floor fans!! The owner was awesome, quickly responsive and helpful!! We loved watching the boats go by all day. This is a very relaxing place! Will recommend!!

Great property

This home is in a great location with easy access to the marinas and the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and the yard is immaculate with a VERY large parking area. The house itself is very lovely and the back deck is perfect for just sitting and enjoying my morning coffee or a beer and burger in the evenings.

Great outside deck and location

We picked this property for the outdoor space. We fished and read and watch the boats go by. Was really close to the state park to hike and not too far from Jefferson. House had everything we needed, but mostly we were outside or site seeing.

Weekend stay- fishing tournament and shopping

Property and host was excellent! Big spacious house. Very clean and had everything there we needed. And that boat house/pier was so relaxing looking out over the water. Would definitely recommend it!

Piece of heaven on earth!

This home’s location is absolutely stunning. Caddo lake is a piece of heaven on earth! The whole is huge, lots of room to spread out! Outdoor area is where its! I sat outside all day!! Enjoyed the river and all it has to offer!

Just what we needed

I grew up NE Texas and going to Caddo, but living in the city the last 20 years. My dream was to let my little boys see the magic of Caddo (so much to see and let the imagination run wild with what's in those trees and bayous!) Well we finally got an opportunity to take my two young sons to Caddo, and what a blessing it was! The house was just great for our family. It was spacious and clean. And the beds were so very comfortable. And also an ideal location to the State Park, Big Pines, and not far from Jefferson. Also the views of the river from the boat house was marvelous. I am so thankful we got to book this house and we loved the spot. We rode bikes from the house to Big Pines, fished, and got to kayak. My little boys got to make so many memories in the beautiful woods of Caddo and on the water. Thank you for opening up your home to us and we hope to be back next year.

Terrific!

This place was absolutely gorgeous!! The views are to die for! We spent most of our time outside, but the beds were super comfy. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We are already planning to come back in March!

Great Caddo Lake Fishing Cabin

If you are looking for a cabin on the waters of Lake Caddo then this is the place. I placed the booking last minute and at first I was denied, as the family that owned the place was staying for Fathers Day weekend. It was my birthday a few days before the Holiday so I was quite disappointed, but the property manager talked to the owners and we were allowed to book the property that Friday through Sunday. The family graciously allowed my friends and me to stay, and I am thankful to them. The property was very clean and spacious. The outside entertaining area is the what the property is all about. The enormous deck overlooks the lake (channel leading to the lake) and there is a grill and ample seating for many. The chairs are incredibly comfortable. The lawn is well manicured and there is a hose near the stairs to wash off your boat(s)/shoes. The kitchen has all the amenities to prepare a nice dinner and the charcoal grill works perfectly. There is cable to watch sports and the couch and recliners are great after a long day on the water. Cell service is lacking, not because of the house but because of the location. All cell service is hit or miss throughout the entire lake area. We were able to place our phones near the sink in the kitchen and talk on speakerphone and got a clear signal. The restaurant that is a quarter mile from the cabin had delicious burgers and a fun atmosphere. You can park your boat on the dock and head inside for a beer and a meal. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place to everyone. Cheers!
