We are Chris and Jennifer Holloway, we're a family of five fueled by a love for each other & travel. Our hope is that our properties become your go-to retreats. We've poured our love for hospitality into creating unique & welcoming spaces , meticulously designed to be cozy and refreshing. Directions for everything was perfect. All was as should be. Fully stocked. Clean and just overall great. We didn't use much of anything but for a family to stay it would be a perfect cabin to do so

Family-friendly. It rained, so we didn’t get to use kayaks, but we would love to come back and try again. RV spot in front yard was helpful because we had a large horse trailer with us. It does share driveway with two other houses, so have to watch where you park.

This was a great place to stay.. stocked with nice plush towels...paper stock trash bags coffe soaps washing powder.. which we don't find always... great communication from the host..i would highly recommend

Property multiple/deferred maintenance items that have not been addressed ..they have been called out by previous guest and still no remedy..shower is cracked and letting bugs into the bathroom.. Septic system is utilized by multiple buildings . Grey water/Aerobic sprinklers are going off every 15minutes .. and it’s running down the driveway!! Pictures look great…but beware!!

The Cozy Cabin met our needs with comfortable soft beds and a functional kitchen. It was easy to find and is very close to a couple of boat launches which was perfect for us. There is plenty of parking and it even has a level RV site with an electric hookup. Jennifer (the host) was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The description and photos of this home were off quite a bit. We were under the impression we would have a place to dock our boat. Considering the main focal point in the description is “dock access” and kayaking. You cannot see the water at all from the home, you have to drive to launch your boat, it is 4 each launch and there is nowhere to keep it at the property. There were also a few vehicles taking up parking in the back which is where we would’ve felt more comfortable keeping our vehicle and boat instead of the front lawn. Also the lawn was way over grown when we arrived and was mowed on our second day of the trip which caused us tracking in grass throughout the house and our vehicles. Along with an early wake up. None of this ruined our stay but it was very disappointing considered the amount of money we paid to have this luxury. I would not of booked this for the amount if I knew we would have to take our boat in and out of the water everytime. However, the house was cute and in a good location with a few places to eat. But the showers were both in bad shape. The one in the main bathroom of the house didn’t drain properly and the one in the back of the house had a hole in the floor which was covered by a shower matt. All in all we still had a good time but the price point did not match the experience we thought we were paying for.

There were bugs in the restroom, shower floor was broken in one bathroom, had an old house smell. Other than that we liked the stay. Canoes were not on the property or across street.

Had we known about the bugs during your stay, our housekeeping team would have come right away to take care of it — we truly want every guest to have a 5-star experience. Very nice except mattresses

Beds were way too soft, but everything else was very convincing and worth its money. Even kayaks were very good.

This is a nice place in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the lake access and kayaks across the street. It's a short drive to hiking and biking at the state park and wildlife refuge. Restaurants and antique shops are 25 min away in Jefferson. We cooked all but one meal here using the grill and well equipped kitchen. Check in was easy and the lockbox/key setup is much easier than electronic keypads we've experienced at other places. Jennifer checked in by text to make sure all was good. We'll definitely consider staying here again.

Pleasant visit to Caddo Lake

We had a good stay at Caddo Lake, even though the recent rain made our boat tour cancel (due to launch site being under water). We went into Jefferson and took the historic trolly tour instead. The house was very close to the lake.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this cozy little cabin near Caddo Lake. The property is across the street from the lake and not on the water. I'm not sure this was super clear in the listing. The beds were comfy, and there was good parking for a few cars and your boat. The neighborhood was quiet!

Great Home Base!

Great property! Old, but clean and remodels make it feel newer and nicer. The listing wasn't completely accurate as there were no canoes to speak of. I can't say for certain we would have used them if there were, but I was looking forward to the option when booking. The amenities details also say there is a playground, but there is no playground on this property. Other than that, it was nice, the internet worked well, and the area was quiet.
