Loved the views from the house . We enjoyed the deck that overlooked the water . The Kids loved the Game room. Communication with the host was prompt.

Truly an amazing place. Right in the middle of multiple canoe trails, Clean, Spacious, Quite, and fantastic host communication. You will love this place.

The property has been well planned by using a mfd home and adding floorspace to it. Amenities include a deck w hottub, a game room, a porch w outdoor tv, and the balcony overlooking the river. Great place to host friends and family!

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at The Whiskey Barrel. The view was beautiful! The house was well stocked with all our needs. We loved the game room with foos ball, enjoyed playing corn hole and the kayaking was enjoyed by all. The dock over the water was perfect!

Grandson’s Christmas present done at spring break!

We had a great time. The house was super clean! Even the windows and there were a lot of them. The grandsons had fun with darts, pickle ball, the hot tub and kayaking. Beautiful view of the river. Lots of stars and even some lightning bugs. The host was fantastic!

Nice/clean/comfortable property for our small family to celebrate a birthday. Good communication with the host. Great view of the water and the many boats up and down the river (Memorial Day weekend). All the amenities that you need. Gas grill in good condition for our steaks and burgers. We didn’t use the game room but looked to be a nice addition. Same for the kayaks/hot tub/fire pit. We tried to keep our fishing boat at the dock but just too many boaters and constant wakes/waves to store safely (due to holiday weekend traffic). The public ramp nearby needs some TLC but was doable. Overall a nice place and would visit again. The whiskey barrel mind game puzzle was a hit!

Perfect

My children and I decided to get away for the week to spread my husband’s ashes. He loved Spanish moss, so we knew that the area would be perfect for him. The house we stayed out was amazing. It was beautiful and had everything we could need. I have zero complaints. We went into Jefferson one day for lunch, explored the state park and kayaked for hours. We will definitely be back.

House was very comfortable and clean! Easy check in/check out process. Rooms/bathrooms are spacious. Kids liked the bunk bed & game room! Loved the view of the water. Definitely will be back!

Great place to stay and relax. We enjoyed the kayaks and all the amenities offered. The porches were a great place to sit and relax all day. We had campfires and hot tub time at night.It rained a bit extra one day and the septic seemed to back up but it resolved and the owner was very responsive to us.I would definitely stay again!

Es war einfach traumhaft. Die Wohnungs-Einrichtung des Whisky Barrel ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll bis ins kleinste Detail, man fürhlt sich sofort zuhause. Der Ausblick auf einen Teil des Lake Caddo ist paradiesisch. Hätten wir nicht 20h Anfahrtsweg würden wir schon nächste Woche wiederkommen.Annemarie/Andreas/Michael
