Dear Simon and family, We are sorry you did not enjoy your experience at Eagles Nest. The villa is exactly as pictured with comfortable designer sofas and armchairs. The master terrace has modern rocking chairs from which to enjoy the view, which runs all the way around the house. All the beds and bedding are new and of high quality. The pool maintenance staff attended before your arrival, on the day of your arrival, and when you requested a few days later. Normally pools are maintained weekly. Eagles Nest is very much in the countryside, however the house was clean and there are no ants or insects inside. Thank you for the feedback regarding the mosquito nets. We will recommend to the owner that he install more nets. You were met by a member of our small team, who welcomed you and showed you around the property. He spent quite some time showing you how the amenities worked and particularly reassuring you about holidaying with a 2 month old baby. He explained that we were on hand at any time to help with any questions or local information that may not have been listed in our comprehensive villa book. You took us up on this offer when informing us late at night that you had car issues. We helped in whatever way we could with contact information. All solar water heating systems have integrated back up electrical boilers. Sorry that you did not inform us that your water was not hot enough, an issue that is easily resolved. During the cloudier winter months it is necessary to use the back up electrics. This property has been enjoyed by many families with children and owned by a family with small children. We do hope that on your next visit to the Algarve we can find you a property that is more suited to your needs. Kind regards Jacaranda Team

Bonjour Didier, Merci beaucoup pour votre avis sur Eagles Nest. Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour. Comme vous le dites, la piste de 2 km vaut le détour. Il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir un 4x4. Comme vous l'avez constaté, toutes les voitures de tourisme normales peuvent emprunter cette piste sans difficulté.
