Unfortunately, it was an unexpected situation outside of our control, but as soon as it was reported, we did everything possible to get it resolved as quickly as we could. We appreciate your patience and understanding. As for the ants, they are unfortunately quite common during the summer months here in the Algarve especially in the countryside. We do take regular preventative measures to help reduce their presence, but we understand they can still be a nuisance and we will continue doing our best to keep them under control. Thank you again for your helpful feedback. especially the tip on mosquito repellent, which we will pass on to future guests.
