Clean apartment, good location. I took off 1 star for the loft area, there are two beds and horizontally enough room for 2-3 people to sleep. Vertically it is only good for a shorter person. I was fine standing full height at 5’1” close to the double bed but my daughters who are 5’5 and 5’9 had to hunch over to stay in the loft. The single bed is in a part of the room that has an even lower ceiling. Very jarring when you have to go bathroom in the middle of the night and bump your head. This should be mentioned in the property description.Took off another star bc they had some kind of electrical issue where if you touch the kitchen faucet and dishwasher at the same time, you would get an electrical shock. My daughter sustained quite a shock and still having some residual muscle issues. This is very dangerous and could have been much worse outcome- life threatening. We let the host know but no electrician was called during our time there. The instruction was to turn off the breaker to the dishwasher.hopefully fixed for the next person-also contacted vrbo.

We enjoyed the location and its close proximity to the metro station, as well as the ability we had to walk to some of the major sites. Communication with the host was excellent. There happened to be a heat wave at the time we were there. There were several fans, but there was quite a noisy bar across the street that made it impossible to sleep with the windows open. The street was not quiet until 3:00 AM. In all fairness, the owner warned us about this beforehand and we still chose to rent this unit.

We would LOVE to come back

This is a wonderful apartment. The location is great and very walkable to metro and restaurants. Wawie was very easy to communicate with. There was plenty of room for 2 grown kids in the loft. The only tiny disappointment was that the fireplace doesn't work. Would absolutely recommend and return!

Nice apartment, but not the cleanest

Location is great overall, but the street is very noisy at night. It’s a narrow street with a bar a few buildings away. Every word from outside sounds like it’s inside of the apartment if the windows are open. Sleeping with open windows is not an option here as the street is full of people until 2-3am. Apartment itself has all of the amenities, nice comfy beds, furniture and appliances. It’s not the cleanest and some things are very worn out - window shades are yellow from age and have holes in them. The floors are a bit sticky. Couches have stains. Overall, it’s a solid 4.

Convenient walkable neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet in the mornings but gets quite loud at night due to the local bars. We always felt safe. The flat was nice and spacious for our family of 4. The property manager was very responsive and provided an additional fan due to the unexpected high temperatures at the start of our trip.

Wonderful week in Paris

From this very comfortable apartment we found convenient metro stations, restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The area was safe and and a perfect location for our family visit to Paris.

Love this apartment in le marais

Fantastic apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. Close to about 4 metros. Groceries close lots of choices for restaurants. Comfortable bed nice hot shower and everything you need in the kitchen. Loft bedroom has steep stairs and lower ceiling but was not a problem for my 28 year old daughter We loved staying at this apt and will be back

Amazing stay in Paris

This home was so lovely. It was great being able to walk to everything - restaurants, stores, the train and some tourist spots. The living space was perfect for our family of five. The property manager met us upon arrival and showed us the ins and outs of the home. They also gifted us a great bottle of wine. We will definitely try to stay here again while in Paris.

Lovely stay in Le Marais

Very nice, well appointed apartment in the heart of the Marais. The place was better than the pictures and so nice with comfy beds, and furniture. Cute cafe across the street that remembered our order the second day!!! Definitely recommend!

Comfortable home in a great location!

This is a very smartly designed home with all necessary amenities to make for a comfortable stay — I especially loved the loft spaces with a desk and extra beds! I had to work remotely one evening (west coast US time) and the internet connection was strong and reliable. Location was also perfect as there were shops, restaurants, and multiple Metro stops all a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks to the hosts for providing this beautiful space for my vacation!

I would choose to stay here again in a heartbeat!

My wife and two adult sons stayed for 10 days and from start to finish we had a wonderful experience. The apartment is super comfortable and well equipped. If you're inclined to stay North of the Seine this is a perfect spot to set up camp. Everything was in easy reach. Wawie the owner's representative was wonderful and responsive -- but frankly everything was so well set up for us we didn't need to bother her during the stay. If I had to add a downside for credibility's sake I would say that late at night the street could be noisy -- as both Parisians and Tourists celebrated the warm August weather -- especially after neighborhood cafés and bars close. Just for context -- I speak French and have a good familiarity with Paris and France so I'm not writing from the perspective of someone who is a first-time tourist.

Excellent location

The property is located in central location and is walking distance to a number of metro stations. It is also walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great for family trip to paris

This was a great location and apartment for family trip to paris. My 2 kids each had a bed in the loft and there was even a small office space I could use to catch up on work in the evening. Everything was easy and the location is great with nearby metro stops.

Great place to stay

The apartment is better in person than it appears in the photos. For Paris I found it to be quite spacious. The location is great. The usb charging station is great and the shower has great water pressure. I would love to come back in the winter. I didn’t have the pleasure to meet Wawie but she was very responsive via WhatsApp. Thank you for sharing your apartment with us.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Paris

We had a great stay and enjoyed the apartment very much - both in terms of location and its beauty and great facilities. There was all the basic equipment that you do not want to get for a few days (coffee, vinegar, oil …) - we were very happy about that. We would definitely return and highly recommend the apartment!

perfect location

The apartment was great, very good location. Oawie was great at getting back to us with any questions. Also was able to give us a ride back to the airport. The apartment had a good kitchen so you can prepare meals if you want to eat in. Loft was comfortable and bedroom was good. Stayed with my mom, myself and daughter. We were very happy with the place. Highly recommend.

Excellent choice for a family visit to Paris

This apartment is perfectly located a short walk from a main metro station that can transport you anywhere in Paris. Everything you need is only a short walk away. Plenty of space for two teenage boys upstairs and two in the master bedroom. Modern bathroom, comfortable couches. Property manager is very responsive and can communicate clearly in English and French. We would definitely choose to stay here again while visiting Paris.
