I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Yosemite. The home has everything one would need to enjoy a very relaxing and cozy stay. Everything in this house is well thought out for the guest. It is very clean and organized and the location is excellent.

What a great house for exploring Yosemite. The view is out of this world. The kitchen is fully stocked, the playroom is immaculate and everything was perfect for our vacation.I would suggest bringing in all of your provisions because at night is treacherous getting to the house

House was perfect for our family trip. Had absolutely everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Patio is absoutely amazing with great outdoor furniture and the most spectacular view. Highly recommend. Jim is a pleasure to deal with.

Awesome house! Location is great. Very comfortable, well stocked and we really enjoyed the deck. We had several meals on the deck and watched the sunset. we will definitely stay here again in the future.

An amazing house with wonderful views in a quiet residential area in the park. The kitchen is well equipped, it really feels like you are staying in someone's home. We ate out twice but I would recommend staying in, unless you want the experience of the Ahwahnee dining room. We had some amazing hikes most notably Sentinel Dome.The host Jim was so friendly and helpful and fixed a small problem we had immediately.

Great location within the park. Quiet and away from everything but close enough to so many great sights/hikes and the Village grocery. House is wonderful, kitchen has everything you need. Jim is fantastic with communicating.

Well furnished, comfortable and clean home, complete with interesting books, fun games and a beautiful view. Location is perfect - easy access to both Tioga Road and the Valley. Stocked with many thoughtful items such as coolers, tupperware, extra bedding, etc. Jim was easy to reach and responsive to any questions/concerns. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Incredible experience

Unbelievable Getaway

We absolutely loved the property. It was so beautiful. We found it to be everything advertised with more amenities than expected. It was a family trip of a lifetime. Also, the park was magnificent.

SPECTACULAR Week

Our week spent in Yosemite was spectacular. The park is breathtakingly gorgeous. After daily hikes, it was very refreshing to have this lovely place to call home. The comfort of the house and the furnishings made it feel like our home for the week. The gas wood burning stove in the living room was cozy on one rainy afternoon. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The views of Half Dome and El Capitan are spectacular. Watching the sun rise above El Capitan each morning will forever be etched in my memory. I don’t know how to adequately recommend this property. To say we enjoyed it and hope to return seems like a gross understatement. Thank you, Jim!

A Family Friendly Stay

This was the perfect spot to share space with family. Board games, space, views and comfort. It was an easy drive to the park and a nice place to rest after a long day of hikes. The owner was kind, responsive, and flexible. The property was clean, spacious, and accommodating to our family’s needs. Would definitely come back!

Legit Awesome Home

Absolutely the best place to stay in Yosemite!! You will love the views of El Capitan and Half Dome from the living room, kitchen, deck, one of the bedrooms, and loft. The house is really clean. The kitchen is modern. The teens loved the game room that is in the basement. The drive to the main village is only about 15-20 minutes and the views getting there are gorgeous. Finally, Jim the host is truly fabulous at taking care of any issues that come up, provides great info for the park, and is generally very friendly. We had 7 people and this house was absolutely perfect!!

A Perfect Home

This house is perfect, great location, views and very comfortable with a game room on the lower level. Even though we were here for work it was perfect. The owner provided us with tons of info and was extremely easy to communicate with. We plan on staying here again next year!

Wonderful Home

This property has been in my family since the mid 1970s. After the A-Rock fire in 1990 destroyed the original house we were amazed to discover that we suddenly had views of both El Capitan and Half Dome.

When we rebuilt in 2006 great care was taken in the design and placement of the house to take maximum advantage of the view.

It is extremely rare to be able to stay in a private home within a national park with such spectacular views. There are only a handful of homes in the entire park with such a view.
