Ideally located this two bedrooms apartment,is in the tourist area of Funchal.
Just 20 minutes walk from the city centre.
This apartment is fully equipped with all you need to spend a nice holiday in Madeira for a great price!
It has two private balconys with Sea and Mountain Views , a private garage and a rooftop Swimming pool
Outside the building you can find many commodities such as supermarkets,restaurants, pubs,cafes, pastisseries,post office ,bus stop ,information kiosk and car rentals.The living/dining area is spacious, very light and is where you can have your meals as well as relax on a comfortable sofa . WiFi is available throughout the apartment.
You also have a big balcony with nice sea views,where you can sunbath read a book or simply relax.
The bedrooms has 2 comfortable single beds. The bedrooms allows comfortably a cot for your baby. There is also a highchair if you required, both with any additional charge.
It has a fully equipped kitchen.
The swimming pool is on the roof surrounded by magnificent views!
On the ground floor there is a nice restaurant a supermarket where you can find fresh fruits, drinks and a lot of other things.
You also have access to the sea and to swimming-pools within a very short distance and for a reasonable price.
Right in front of the building there is a very well served bus stop, in case you want to go to the town centre, or to the airport ( aerobus) and a sightseeing bus stop .You will also find a taxi stand at a 2 minutes walking.
If you enjoy walking, it will take you about 20 minutes to get to the town centre and the Lido seaside promenade is just 5 minutes’ walk away from the apartment. While walking you can appreciate beautiful gardens and sights.

Excellent location for amenities and transport

Just what we wanted. Been nearly 2 years since we booked and the owners have accommodated all the changes of flights and plans. I would recommend anyone to book with Ana and Mario.

perfect home for us :-)

We were very happy to stay in the apartment which has everything we needed. Ana and Mario are fantastic hosts. They were quite flexible for our arrival and departure time. And they even prepared some fruits, cake, water, juice and Madeira wine to welcome us  The apartment was clean and big enough for us. I was especially satisfied with the kitchen facilities since I like to cook with the local vegetables and other specialties. We will definitely come back when we visit Madeira again. Thank you very much Ana and Mario 

Luxury in a perfect location

The appartment could not be faulted in anyway. Everything was spotlessly clean and of a very high standard. All needs was catered for from cooking and cleaning to relaxing and sunbathing. The appartment has spectacular views from the two balconies. We could see pods of dolphins jumping and playing in the ocean very clearly from the balcony. There is many excellent restaurants very nearby. The apartment has it's own Car parking spot if you had a hire car. Also the local bus stop and pickup point for coach trips is directly opposite the apartment. Highly recommended. Also a big Thank you to Mario and Anna for the welcome pack provided.

A spacious, well appointed Apartment

When we arrived at the apartment we were met by Ana, the lovely owner, who showed us around. She had left a greeting pack for us which was a nice surprise. It has two good size bedrooms, well appointed kitchen and a large bathroom with walk in shower which again a good size. Two good size balconies, the front balcony has fantastic sea views and if you like people watching this is the one for you. Excellant wifi, good size tv with some english channels. We have been to Funchal on a number of occasions & the position of this apartment we think is the best. Shops, restaurants and bars on the doorstep, bus stop across the road and a 5 min walk to the sea. This is an apartment we will definitely use again. Thank you Ana!

Great location and wonderful apartment

On arriving we where met by Ana and shown into this apartment. A two bedroom 3rd floor with two balcony areas and wonderful sea views. The welcome package provided was more than you could wish for and showed how much both Mario and Ana wanted to greet the guests to Madeira. Nothing seamed to much trouble with kind reminder of fireworks on Saturday night in the harbour. This really felt like you were visiting someone’s home and not just an apartment for visitors. The main living and dining area had large table and chairs as well as a L shaped sofa. The kitchen had more than enough room and fixtures for even a longer stay, than our short two weeks. The pool was on the roof and shared by all apartments but did lack anywhere to sit, with the ground being rather hot. This did by no means detract anything from the stay, we had a great time. As we know the area well the location we chose fitted everything we needed. Bus stop over the road taking you straight to Funchal centre or further afield Monte etc.. The Lido area has some great places to eat, from the ground floor restaurant of the block, to Lemnos on sea front below Melia and the Argentine Steakhouse just up the road. Lots of choice with friendly staff everywhere. Opposite the new cafe and restaurant was probably the most disappointing, both food and value for money. To sum up we will be visiting again and happy to ask if this apartment is available. Thank you Ana and Mario.

Fantastic holiday

Ana met us at the apartment, no waiting around. Fresh fruit basket and other items left for us. Apartment is ideally located for sea, restaurants, bars. Wonderful views from the balcony. Ana kept in touch during our stay. Apartment spacious and has everything you could need. All in all wonderful holiday and will definitely book this apartment again should we return. Thank you

Beautiful Apartment !

Ana met us for checkin, and was most helpful. The apartment is simply lovely. It is extremely well appointed, very tastefully decorated, and was totally comfortable. It seemed that every need had been anticipated. The unit was spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable, with very nice linens. Terrific water views from the front balcony, and a second balcony to the side provided shade for later in the day. Unfortunately, due to the Covid pandemic, we had to cancel our vacation and so sadly never got to experience all that Madeira had to offer. We did, however, explore the area around the apartment, as well as the historic parts of Funchal itself. The immediate neighborhood is very nice with great restaurant choices, and some local shopping very close. Central downtown is a pleasant 30 minute walk. We thought the location was quite ideal. We found Ana to be a gracious host, most kind, understanding, and helpful. We would certainly recommend this rental, and indeed look forward to returning ourselves some day.

Foi uma estadia muito boa, o apartamento é extremamente agradável, encontra-se muito bem situado, dispõe de um óptimo espaço e de uma vista fantástica, nunca faltou nada pois o apartamento tinha de tudo o que necessitei. Nice apartment in perfect location! Strongly advised!

We have just returned from Madeira where we stayed in self-catered apartment 3E. It has 2 decent size double bedrooms, a spacious living room with a large dining table, a big bathroom and a small kitchen, which contains anything you need to prepare your food and drinks. Apartment has one small balcony facing the street and the ocean and another large one on the other side, much quieter, perfect for sunbathing in the morning and for drying your towels and swimming suits:-) Ana, the owner, welcomed us at our arrival and explained everything we had to know. The apartment was spotlessly clean on our arrival and it was re-cleaned once more during our stay, with all bedding and towels changed. We found a welcome pack in the kitchen; fresh fruits, bottle of water, orange juice, tea bags, coffee pods, cheese and biscuits, cookies... A set of shower gel, body lotion and shampoo was left in the bathroom. Very nice touch. Apartment is situated next to the very busy street - Estrada Monumental - which you can hear despite double glazed windows. However, after a couple of nights I used to the noise and it has its positives - you can't hear any noises in the building itself:-) Balconies balustrades are quite low and not protected with any higher rail, therefore if you decide to stay with children and you - and them - are not very safety conscious, then this flat is not for you. It is perfect if you rent a car - it has a parking space in the basement. Bare in mind the garage is very tight, so you will need a very small car or a perfect parking skills in order to park the car over there. It also perfect if you don't rent a car - bus stop and taxis parking are just in front of the building, there are 3 Spars less than 1 minute walk from the apartment, a larger and cheaper Pingo Doce supermarket 5 minutes walk, plenty of restaurant, bars, car rental companies, tour agencies and anything you may need in a radius of few yards. Apartment has its own fabulous roof top swimming pool, but if you fancy a bigger pool then a natural bathing complex is a few minutes walk away, which one large pool and 2 smaller pools for kids. I strongly recommend this flat. Thank you, Ana.

Appartement spacieux, impeccable et conforme à l'annonce. Par contre, les photos ne représentent pas les réelles dimensions de la piscine . Malgré l'environment bruyant non référencé dans les commentaires des précédents locataires, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

An apartment and it's abundance of facilities in the most wonderful location within the Lido area.

We were met at the apartment by the delightful Ana and were told everything that we needed to know and given the immediate impression from her of 'our home is your home'.We were re-assured by her that if we ever needed anything then to contact her or her husband Mario for any help whatsoever.As for the apartment,it is literally home from home with anything you need provided for,from coffee machine to washing machine you name it I guarantee it is within.There are 2 balconies one very useful for early morning sun and breakfast and the main balcony overlooking the splendid Lido area where you are located right in the heart and could not be better positioned.You have superb sea views from the main balcony and better still from your bed whilst drinking your first cup of tea.You have excellent restaurants nearby and are really spoilt for choice.We like walking so a decent walk into Funchal and back is a must and likewise a walk along the sea front in the opposite direction is just as enchanting. As the week went on Ana and Mario contacted us just to make sure everything was fine which indeed it was.We cannot speak highly enough of this holiday and would without doubt recommend the apartment and cannot thank Ana and Mario enough for there warm hospitality.A generous food and drinks package is provided upon your arrival and a glass of the Madeira wine makes it a splendid start to the holiday,don't just take our word,go and see for yourself.

Beautiful Apartment

We have stayed in several apartments within Funchal and was delighted with this one. Was greeted by a delightful Ana, who answered any queries. .The apartment is modern, spacious and equipped with everything you need for a pertect stay. With a decked area looking towards the town and a further balcony looking towards the liodos, you have all around views. Also, the beds are a dream, and we had trouble waking up from a perfect night's slumber. Would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend to friends. Paul & Marie xx

We loved everything about this apartment! An absolute recommendation!

Ana (our host) was very lovely and welcoming (although we messed up our communication concerning our arrival and ended up coming an hour too late...). There was a fruit basket and some snacks waiting for us. The apartment itself is just gorgeous! From the balcony you have a great view of the ocean. The interior is lovely and well maintained. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a proper meal. The pool on top of the building is a bonus we loved, also the parking spot in the garage. The apartment is situated in a great neighbourhood: lot's of bars, restaurants and a very fine bakery. There are also two small supermarkets nearby (although a bit pricey as you can imagine). So if you're thinking of going to Madeira (and you should) - make sure to stay in Ana's and Mario's apartment. Because we would definitely do that again! Thank you Ana!

Férias fantásticas

Primeira visita à Madeira e ficámos neste apartamento T2 de excelente qualidade por 10 dias. A D. Ana é uma anfitriã fantástica, foi muito flexível com a nossa chegada e horário de partida. Até nos preparou um cesto de frutas, bolo e broas de mel, água, sumo e vinho da Madeira para nos receber. Apartamento muito funcional, bastante espaçoso para uma família de 4, com excelente WIFI e um lugar de estacionamento (o que, na Madeira, é bastante conveniente). Muita atenção aos detalhes, limpo, confortável e excelente vista mar Perto de tudo o que precisa, restaurantes e supermercados. A piscina é um "must", localizada no topo do edifício de onde se pode relaxar, passar um tempo maravilhoso e desfrutar da vista deslumbrante. Lovely Apartment in a Great Location

5th Visit to Funchal, 1st to this apartment. We consider this apartment to be of excellent quality for the price charged. The location is right in the heart of the Lido/Hotel area and has similar views to the a considerable amount of 4 star hotels in the area. Ideal for sitting watching everything as well as excellent sea views for its location. There was plenty of space for a family of 4 with excellent WIFI to keep 2 teenagers happy. Attention to detail, convenience and comfort is excellent. Though not listed in the particulars there is also a small safe in the apartment. Don't be put off by the busy road it is surprisingly quiet during the night even with the windows open. For lighter sleepers the main bedroom windows are triple glazed. We would happily stay here again and recommend this apartment to other travellers considering staying in this area.
