Thanks for your feedback We've looked hard to find the mysterious drainage issues and had 3 subsequent guests who, like us, couldn't find them. How odd. And a hook fell off outside? Also difficult to find without any indication of which hook where but hardly worthy of criticism unless a safety issue which it certainly is not. Could it be that there was nothing really wrong but you felt the need to be critical for some personalreason? My best way to judge the validity of that question is the 3 subsequent 5 stars reviews which, like almost all previous reviews, were 5 stars and posted by the guests after you with almost nothing changed following your visit.

Thanks for your feedback. We will continue to do everything we can to make our guests' stays special. In your case that included a very early check-in, a free bottle of champagne, a free large hamper of goodies, use of our personal beach items which are not listed and rapid helpful responses to your many questions before and during your stay. With regard to your specific comments: Dishwasher: The dishwasher, which is a little over 1 year old, is saltless. We run a clean for every stay and never have problems. But I'm sorry that you couldn't figure out how to use it. Batteries: Remote control batteries weren't mentioned in your very many communications or we would have replaced them. Having made no comment during your stay its odd that you have decided that it was worth comment after your stay. They've since been replaced because I check that the TV and cable TV are working whenever I'm there (guests often tamper leaving both unusable). The batteries were fine before your stay Umbrella: Umbrellas were not listed as being available at our property when you booked. So it's odd that you expected them and now criticise us for not supplying them. But I'll explain why we don't supply them - several, of varying sizes and cost, have blown away putting neighbors and passers by at risk. It's the price of living right next to the sea. Despite that we even tried to get one for you but couldn't find something that we felt might be safe delivered at the end of your stay when you requested it. The hot weather that stopped you enjoying the garden was a record for the UK and Government guidance was to stay inside. So I'm not entirely sure how an umbrella would've helped you to stay safe whilst enjoying the garden. Sink Plug; We explained that the mechanism for one of the sinks had been broken by a previous guest. To fix would have delayed your requested early check-in. It will be fixed when the next gap between stays allows. Doors; Sue and I live in the house and have no problems opening or closing doors. So, once again, it's odd that you found difficulty. But I'll have a look to I see if I can figure out what made it difficult for you
