Great house, large communal areas with everything you might need. Plenty of room for us with a lovely garden and amazing views of the sea. Fab views from the main bedrooms and a few minutes walk to the beach. Great location! Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend

Fabulous place to celebrate my Mum's 80th Birthday!

Great location with immediate access to the beach. Good base for walking, water sports and cycling. House was perfect for our party of 10 Well equipped kitchen, garden... Would definitely recommend

Family weekend get together

Perfect location for us, house was lovely with everything we needed. We had such a great weekend despite extreme weather conditions on the Saturday. Would definitely revisit.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Delux Modern House. The house is very well equipped, very clean and in a perfect location. So near the beach with its SOBO bar so close to enjoy. John our host went above and beyond to help make our stay very enjoyable. I have no doubts about recommending this lovely property to anyone wishing to have a chilled holiday by the beach.

Fabulous location!

We had an amazing stay at this property. Our teenage boys loved the house and the proximity to the beach. I was impressed by the decor and how the owner had thought of everything you might need from games to fans (which were really good ones and helped us sleep better). It was great to sit out in the garden and have a meal with the beautiful backdrop of the sea. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. My only disappointment was that we could not stay for longer!

The location was ideal and the weather made it for us

Wonderful location which we know as friends live not far away. The house needs a bit of attention eg some drainage issues , more tea towels required, WiFi only works on ground floor, one hook has come off on one of the doors to the lawn area. Very happy with location however.

Could do better for the price

We had a good holiday but there were a few issues with the property in terms of maintenance. Plug missing from one of the bathroom sinks, water kept backfilling Patio doors a little difficult to open and close Dishwasher needed salt and rinse aid as did not clean properly TV controller did not work as required new batteries A garden umbrella would have been good as we were unable to make use of the garden during hottest week of the year.

Lovely Stay

We have just returned home from a wonderful 4 night stay in this fabulous house minutes away from Sourhbourne Beach. The house had everything anyone could need and we all settled in within a very short time. You could not tire of the lovely view from the house and the great walks in either direction along the coast. We had a much appreciated welcome hamper from our hosts John and Sue, the weather has been really good and we have thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. 😊

Location, Location, Location

A wonderfully spacious holiday home for a big family. Perfectly located, within a stone's throw of the quiet beach of Southborne. Beautiful sea views and a good sized garden for the children to run about in and the adults to relax. Communication with hosts (John and Sue) we could not fault. Replied same day everytime. Lovely treats left on our arrival for both adults and children. An ideal base for exploring Boscombe, Bournemouth, Poole and further afield. Thank you so much.

Fantastic house in great position right by a great beach

We had 9 people varying in age from 13 to 70, who all loved the House and the beach. We had such a great time. we had no issues at all, however the property manager was very helpful with questions I had before we arrived, along with checking that everything was alright by text half way through the week. Would definitely go back if we go back that way on holiday.

Fantastic stay

We recently returned from a fantastic week at this lovely property. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect position for the beach which was loved by both the children and the dogs in our party. Great property and location!

Great location in Southbourne and on the beach, has a games room/gym as well which wasn’t pictured so a nice surprise! Had a really lovely stay and communication with owners was great.

We had a brilliant few days with some changeable weather but the large house and spread out living space meant we didn’t feel on top of each other. Hosts couldn’t have been more easy to deal with and place was spotless

Family holiday

We had a lovely week in this beautiful seaside house. Well equipped and very comfortable house with fantastic sea views . John is an excellent host , and did all he could to ensure we enjoyed our stay . We would definitely book again .
