Thank you Joe for taking the time to review your stay. We are happy you found all you needed in the unit to enjoy your first time in San Carlos and that you were so satisfied with the location right in the center of things. We also enjoy sitting on the balcony to listen to the background music being played at the various restaurants nearby, or if not, we go inside. El Patron down the street has guitar music on the weekends from 5 to 8, and El Capitan in the other direction occasionally hires a group that plays the seventies oldies from 5 to 9. You can also walk down to the Marina to the other various restaurants. We just love the area. Yes, in our picture from the front balcony your can see the telephone poles and wires, but if you can move your focus just a little further, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Tetakawi mountain, and the wonderful sunsets: that is the reason we purchased the unit! As for the “dump”, the Hotel Marinaterra on the marina in front of us to the right, (see picture again) has an adjacent vacant lot used for parking where during their renovation has temporarily stored in a corner some chairs and tables and other items which we are sure will be removed. Again it is a matter of focus. We strive to make sure our guests enjoy their stay and do everything we can to make that happen.
