Located in the historic center of Lisbon (Mouraria), near the Castle of São Jorge, in downtown city. 5 minutes from Rossio Square and 10 minutes from the famous Praça do Comércio. Well served by public transport (Metro, Bus, Train, Tram).

About 1km from the Bairro Alto area of bars and restaurants, a picturesque old neighborhood in central Lisbon.

We had a difficult time entering this property. Two different key boxes to find and the owner was working so couldn't meet us or quickly respond to text or calls . The bed was very uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit gave off a strong unpleasant order. The apartment was clean and the location is great, but we wouldn't recommend it.

Great little apartment in charming square

Manuel was an exemplary host. He couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. The apartment is conveniently located close to Martim Moniz metro station (20 minutes to/from the airport) in the heart of Mouraria, Lisbon’s historic fado district. Every major highlight of the city was an easy walk away & the bike rental shop downstairs (literally under the apartment) was a real bonus for longer trips, including day tours to Sintra & Cascais. Great restaurants (eg. The Food Temple, vegan) & convenience food stores are just steps from the front door. Highly recommended. PS. Strong, reliable WiFi!

Charming and cozy

We loved the location because we love staying where people are living life. It's a busy square, activity into the night but we slept through it as there is no traffic. Taxis were a little confused on where to drop and pick us up. We had late and early flights and couldn't use other transportation. It's tiny but has what you need to be comfy. Manuel is so accommodating. He met us there to let us in after midnight. Be prepared, the stairs are steep and narrow but it's only the second floor. We loved our visit.

Great location and price!

This apartment is truly in the heat of Lisbon. If your looking for an authentic feel of the city of Lisbon you will find it here. This is not an upscale neighborhood! I would not recommend this apt. for single women or young girls that party like crazy. While My husband and I never felt uncomfortable traveling around on foot there are a lot of dark streets and characters moving around. The courtyard outside this apartment is full of typical Lisbon life. From a couple upscale restaurants to open area fish grilling and common diners and even brunch, you can find all you need to eat right outside your door. Cold beer for a buck at a tiny local historical bar and a selection of nice bottles of wine. The Metro city transportation is 1 block away and was all we needed to get us from plane to train and everywhere inbetween. If you like quiet nights you may be disappointed. We listened to Fado, (traditional music) late into the night from our apartment window. It actually was fun and interesting most nights. This is a very small apartment. It is up two narrow flights of stairs. It has everything you need and was very clean. Not a bug in site, plenty of towels and bedding and a simple but small kitchen area. We found so many things to do that we spent very little time inside the apartment. The price is right and the location was great. I rated this location at a 4 star because I felt it’s perfect for couples and healthy bodied adults but might be difficult for elderly folks with the need for quiet nights.

Es ist eine schnuckelige kleine, sehr nette und überwiegend ruhige Wohnung, die einen am lebhaften Treiben draußen auf dem kleinen Marktplatz teilhaben läßt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt, Bus- und Metrostation sind nicht weit. Fernseher und WLAN sind vorhanden, das Küchengeschirr ist genügend vorhanden, klo und Dusche sind nicht sehr üppig aber für Nicht - Riesen genügend. Wir freuten uns über eine Buchvorstellung mit Fadoklängen zwischendurch. Alles in allem bot die Wohnung für uns eine ideale Bleibe für eine Woche in Lissabonn. Gerhard Bauer und Gabi

Excelent Location and Good Facilities

Esta fue la segunda vez que alquiló la casa de apartamentos Severa porque yo estaba aquí en mayo de 2017. La ubicación es excepcional, tanto para el uso del metro (130m), sino también para salir a caminar alrededor de la zona turística de Lisboa. Las instalaciones de toda la casa son muy buenas, excelente ducha, cocina, wi-fi, televisión, cama muy buena y la habitación con mucho silencio para buenas noches de sueño. This was the 2nd time I have rented the Casa de Severa apartment since I was here in May 2017. The location is exceptional both for using the Metro (130m) and for walking around the tourist center of Lisbon. The facilities of the whole house are very good, excellent shower, kitchen, wifi, tv, very good bed and the room very quiet for good nights sleep. We highly recommend renting this apartment. tout à fait conforme à l'annoncé

Très bon emplacement, très central. La place est un peu mouvementée et bruyante le soir mais rien de vraiment insupportable. L'appartement est petit mais tout à fait conforme à la description et le propriétaire d'une extrême gentillesse, prêt à arranger l'horaire de départ pour nous aider.

Great location, cozy and clean

This small but efficient apartment is in a wonderful location for getting around Lisbon. It is easy to walk to most areas and transit is close by. There is a lovely little restaurant downstairs and a larger one across the square as well as many in the area. We stayed here for a week and loved it.

Fabulous Location

My husband and I just enjoyed our first visit to Lisbon and are so happy we stayed at this apartment. It was in the perfect location for walking to all the main attractions and picking up the hop on and off tours. We were also fortunate to experience a concert almost outside the apartment that was unexpected and wonderful. Although small, it has everything you might need and is a lovely apartment. We had a great time and when we come back to Portugal we hope it is available to stay at again. Thank you!

Excelente estadia em Lisboa ( Mouraria)

All our expectations were exceeded by a perfect stay we had in this apartment. Very well located, has a beautiful square. The site is well served by bakeries and markets that facilitate access to foods of all kinds. The location of the building is 150 meters from Martin Moniz Square which allows displacements of short walks and independent of the bus or subway to many museums and tourist places. It is very quiet at night without passing cars on the street. The bed is super comfortable and the sheets and towels are of excellent quality, all very clean and nice. The well equipped kitchen and all appliances work well. We also had a lot of comfort with very hot water in the kitchen and bathroom. The owner welcomed us very well and offered all kinds of support for our stay.Totally Excellent. Todas nuestras expectativas se han superado por una estancia perfecta que tuvimos en este apartamento. Muy bien situado, el sitio está bien comunicado por panaderías y mercados que facilitan el acceso a los alimentos de todo tipo. La ubicación del edificio es un punto clave para los viajes a pie, partindo de la plaza Martin Moniz. Permite desplazamientos de caminatas cortas e independientes del autobús o metro a muchos museos y lugares de interés turístico. Es muy tranquilo durante el día y por la noche sin coches que pasaban por la calle. El apartamento está finamente amueblado, es completo con enseres de calidad. La cama es muy cómoda y las sábanas y las toallas son de excelente calidad, todo muy limpio y agradable. La cocina bien equipada y todos los electrodomésticos funcionan bien. También tuvimos mucha comodidad con agua muy caliente en cocina y baño. El propietario nos recibió muy bien y ofrece todo tipo de apoyo para nuestra estancia.Totalmente Excelente.

Großes Theater!

Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig. Am Ende des Vorplatzes befindet sich ein Fado-Lokal, in dem bis spät in die Nacht Musik gespielt wird. Der Vorplatz selbst ist ein beliebter Treffpunkt und eine Theaterbühne für alle möglichen Gestalten. Im Haus gibt es eine Bar und ein Restaurant. Schlafen kann man nur mit Ohrstöpseln. Es gibt außer der Balkontür in der Wohnung keine Fenster. Das Wohnzimmer ist eigentlich ein Flur, in dem man sich nicht wirklich aufhalten kann, da der Nachbar bei geöffneter Wohnungstür Radio hört.

klein maar fijn appartementje op uitstekende plaats

Heel nette woning, met kleine ruimtes, maar perfect om van daaruit de stad te verkennen. Veel kan te voet, maar openbaar vervoer in de onmiddellijke buurt. Ontbijten kan in de koffiebar-bakkerij om de hoek. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Goed bed, goede douche, mooi uitzicht, alles wat nodig is. Vriendelijke ontvangst. We zouden een volgende keer zeker op dezelfde plaats willen verblijven.

Appartement pour 2, bien placé dans Alfama, au calme, impeccable, avec tout ce qu'il faut

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. L'appartement est impeccable, avec tout ce qu'il faut (grille pain, bouilloire, ...). Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Location, location, Location!

Location, Location,Location! This is perfectly located to transportation to all the historic sites. While the place is small and the shower is really tiny, it is all you really need. Very noisy at night. And it's mostly the people upstairs with a small child who think Portuguese is best spoken at the top of their lungs! Outside is loud but the shutters take care of that when you close them. This place is a excellent for the price and the gentleman who checked us in was wonderful and so helpful. I would stay here again if came to Lisbon.

central situation, small, however, well

The flat was rented for 5 days. The key handing over and the winding up have functioned very well. The flat is equipped for a FEWO very well and is furnished very nicely. The flat was in a very clean state. The flat size is enough if one only for the breakfast and sleep on site is. (Ideally for 1-2 people) The flat lies away very centrally and one is immediately at the place of the events (Sehenswürdigenkeiten, bars...) on foot or by U, streetcar) stops 100 m. I would recommend the flat any time.

zentrale Lage, klein aber fein

Die Wohnung wurde für 5 Tage gemietet. Die Schlüsselübergabe und die Abwicklung haben sehr gut funktioniert. Die Wohnung ist für eine FEWO sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Wohnung war in einem sehr sauberen Zustand. Die Wohnungsgrösse ist ausreichend, wenn man nur zum Frühstücken und schlafen vor Ort ist. (Ideal für 1-2 Personen) Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und man ist sofort am Ort des Geschehens (Sehenswürdigenkeiten, Kneipen,...) zu Fuss oder per U,-Straßenbahn) Haltestellen 100 m entfernt. Ich würden die Wohnung jederzeit weiter empfehlen.
