Fabulous apartment in a wonderful location. Communication with the host was excellent making check in & out very quick & easy. Apartment kitchen was very well equipped and opened to a lovely terrace. The apartment is located on a lively street right in the heart of the brilliant Bairro Alto district with loads of bars & restaurants. I'd highly recommend this apartment.

Joao was a fantastic host. He met us and showed us the apartment. Clean and modern. Well equipped kitchen and great terrace area.It is right in the heart of the action so there is a lot going on on the street below. However the new windows really cut down the noise and we had a fan running so we slept just fine..and we're in our early 60's.Very comfortable. We would stay there again.

Loved our stay and the host was great! Everything worked and was clean. The apartment and kitchen were fully stocked with everything we needed. Loved the terrace space! Excellent location. Yes it’s on the second floor and there are stairs, we had luggage and it wasn’t a problem for us. The club music was very loud a few nights, but it’s a loud city. Highly recommended! Would definitely stay again.

João made sure we had the most Tremendous experience! The apartment was spotless, spacious, great kitchen, comfortable couch, amazing terrace, comfortable bed and bedding. Such a spectacular place to stay. It’s on a quiet street with the best noise cancelling windows. I would stay here time after time after time. Best apartment in the nicest area and close to so many things. The most comfortable stay we had in Portugal. We visited 4 different cities/towns and this apartment outshined them all. I slept the best here too.João also give us a bottle of wine at checkin. So sweet!He is the best host and took amazing care of us and gave us some great suggestions! So thankful we found this parent and João!

Old town Lisbon

Apartment is very conveniently located. Close to transit, restaurants transit and sights but noisy late into the night. The apartment is very well appointed and great patio where we had breakfast and lunch most days. Joao was very helpful about the area. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Fabulous apartment and host

Apartment was exactly as described impeccably clean stylish and in the heart of Barrio Alto loads of local good bars and restaurants and perfect location to explore Lisbon. Joao is a wonderful host has thought of everything and the terrace was beautiful shape we couldn’t make the most of it due to some rainy weather.

Lovely, Lively Lisbon!

Great location, excellent host, wonderful well stocked apartment! Only 2 comments that were short of perfection. You must walk up and down 2 flights of stairs on every journey. Good exercise! The street noise was bothersome, bring earplugs. Overall,loved it!

Perfect Location for Lisbon

Great place, clear instructions, Juao is a great host. Know two things: Fri, Sat, and Sun will be noisy, there is a restaurant bar downstairs, but excellent soundproofing keeps out most of the noise; and the stairs are steep for those less abled. Otherwise excellent.

Awesome Unit

First off, Joao is a wonderful host, very attentive and helpful. He provided many suggested activities, restaurants, and music. Great location, easy walking distance to top attractions and restaurants. Unit was clean & had all the updated amenities you need. Great stay!

Nice apartment, but very loud neighborhood.

Joao greeted us upon our arrival and provided information regarding the apartment and the Barrio Alto area. The apartment itself was very spacious and nice especially the lovely terrace. It’s located on one of the main streets in the Barrio Alto area. There is a bar right below the apartment that plays extremely loud techno music with a very heavy base until 3:00am. If you look outside the apartment windows, you’ll see tons of people standing in the street partying loudly. It might be the perfect location if that is what you’re looking for, however for us it was just too loud and we couldn’t sleep even with earplugs in. We left early and continued to explore Lisbon from a hotel.

Comfortable apartment in perfect location

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, walkable to many places and easy access to public transportation. The terrace was great for relaxing. There are restaurants right downstairs and on the streets nearby. I could hear the music from the bar on the ground floor but it wasn’t loud enough to keep me awake. Same with street noise. Joao was very easy to communicate with and provided lots of information to improve my stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city. Surrounded by lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Train and tram links all within easy walking distance. Apartment was spotless, just as described, the lovely terrace was fantastic to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!! Thanks Joao👍

Appartement bien rénové

Cet appartement situé dans le quartier gai de Lisbonne Bairro Alto est fonctionnel et rénové avec goût. Heureusement, l’insonorisation a été améliorée car, il est situé au-dessus d’un restaurant-bar fort occupé jusque tard dans la nuit. Personnellement, nous avons grandement apprécié y demeurer. Nous prenons soin de de souligner aussi, l’accueil exceptionnel et les informations fournies par João le propriétaire.

Lisbon comfort

Lovely apartment with a large, comfortable balcony to relax on after long days of seeing all the sights. It was clean, conveniently located and João was a welcoming, responsive host. Definitely recommend it!
