LANOVA-Lovely Stone House Puglia

These lovingly restored multilevel house is located in the historic center of the picturesque medieval village of Conversano, Puglia, just a 10-minute drive from the beaches of Polignano a Mare.
The stone house features a large living room and one bedroom on the first floor and 1 bedrooms on the upper floor. It comfortably sleeps 4 people, and is elegantly furnished with clean, modern furniture. There are two bathrooms, two balconies and a roof terrace. Amenities include: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning, WI-Fi, TV, ironing board/iron and a wood stove.

Conversano, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, is lively, sophisticated and full of festivals/events throughout summer — yet never overrun with tourists. Enjoy the daily “passeggiata” (evening stroll) in the cobblestone-paved old town streets full of shops and restaurants (gelato in hand), explore the castle and surroundings, cook with fine, fresh produce from the street markets, and take in free concerts and street performances. The town centre is pedestrian-only, which makes for wonderful walking and quiet, peaceful sleeping. This is also the perfect gateway for famous tourist destinations nearby like Ostuni, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Locorotondo (Valle d’Itria). All are a few miles away. The train station is just a few blocks away from the house.

The house is located in the historic center of Conversano. Since this area is a pedestrian friendly zone the parking is restricted. You can temporary park your car near the house at your arrival to unload your baggage and then park for free just outside the historic center few blocks away from the house.We will provide a map with parking areas.

Fabulous Stay in Conversano!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Conversano at Lanova ~the lovely stone house! This vrbo was so clean, cozy, an ideal location for savoring the town as well as nearby villages in Puglia. We had excellent communication with our hosts who were very welcoming and helpful in orienting us to the place, and town. We highly recommend this vrbo as a 5-star place to land. If we ever return to Conversano, we would love to stay in this home again.

Old house, modern interior

We had a good 6 week winter stay in Lanova. This is a old building with modern interior. The rooms are larger than the pictures appear, the kitchen is well equipped. There are 3 outdoor terraces to catch the sun morning and afternoon. Conversano has a good range of supermarkets, shops and bars. We found everyone very friendly and helpful despite our limited Italian. A great place to stay, Thank you Marina

Schönes Häuschen in zentraler Lage

Für 2-4 Personen perfekt -ein Schlafraum ist sehr klein. Alles schön eingerichtet - praktische Küche. Prima Balkon + Dachterrasse . Bäder auch gut. Unkomplizierte Übergabe! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Eine sehr behaglich-schöne Unterkunft

Das Häuschen mitten in der ruhigen Altstadt von Conversano ist sehr schön-schlicht und liebevoll durchdacht eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, mit guten Tipps versorgt und haben uns sofort und die ganze Woche lang sehr behaglich gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft und in diesem schönen und wunderbar wenig touristischen Ort.

Great apartment in central location

Wonderful stay! Check-in and out were simple, the apartment was well outfitted with all the necessities. Couldn’t have been a better location. Easy free parking nearby. Conversano is a great little paese with more than enough to see and do during a stay of several days. Restaurants and bars all an easy walk from the apartment. We very much enjoyed Vita Pugliese for dinner just up the street. Also Bar Ichos in Piazza 20 Settembre for craft beer, more than enough tasty bar food to make a dinner out of it. Highly recommend!

What a charming lovely apartment. Had all the features that we love the blending of old and new. The kitchen was probably the best equipped of any place we've stayed in our travels. The hosts were so accommodating and helpful as due to transportation issues we arrived much later than planned. So much appreciated. Too the bottle of wine and treats were indeed a plus. The apartment was also in walking distance of all necessities such as transportation, market, shopping, local restaurants, and historical sights. And the people we encountered were so friendly and welcoming. Very positive experience. Absolutely would go and stay here again!

Beautiful house in a perfect location

We had a wonderful 3 week stay in this beautifully renovated house. Marina and Teresa were very helpful and friendly (we were even given an Italian coffee maker - such a lovely surprise!) The house is very nicely decorated and has generous basic supplies for your arrival. The delicious bag (huge!) of traditional taralli was a very nice touch. The 3 terraces were put to good use during our stay. All in all a very good base for exploring the region and all it has to offer! Fabulous hosts - thanks Marina and Teresa 😊

Lovely

We had 2 Weeks in lanova and we live it. In 2015 we stay 2 Weeks in Jatta and it was also everything perfekt. The whole Family ist very nice and affort to help you and to let you have a good Vacation. The People and the Town are everytime wonderful. Thank you Marina and your Family.

Schönes Stadthaus in super Altstadtlage

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im engen Gassenlabyrinth. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet auf 3 Etagen. Rund um das Castell pulsiert allabendlich das Leben, besonders beim Kirschfest. Für Ausflüge nach Alberobello, zum Castel del Monte, in die Grotten von Castellana, nach Bari, Monopoli, Polignano günstig gelegen. Nur zu empfehlen!

agréable séjour au coeur de l' Italie authentique

La maison se trouve dans une des ruelles pavées de la vieille ville. L' accueil des parents de Marina a été prévenant et sympathique. La maison " Lanova " est propre, bien équipée, et les commerces ou restaurants sont tous à quelques minutes à pied. Le centre historique de Conversano et les villages des environs méritent vraiment une visite, à l' image de Locorotondo.

Parfait !

Appartement idéalement placé à proximité des commerces dans le centre historique, rénové avec beaucoup de gout et très fonctionnel. Propre et conforme au descriptif. Beautifully maintained house in a great location

We had the most wonderful stay at this townhouse while we were vacationing in Conversano. The property is just as described, and about 2 minutes from the center of town. We easily walked all throughout Conversano and knew we were not far from our house. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and updated! The full size fridge and gas stove top was perfect. I knew that Marina was just a call or email away and she stayed in contact to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We had a wonderful wonderful time during our 5 day stay.

Amazing!

An absolutely beautiful house in an interesting and historic location. The owners are so nice, they waited at the house for us when our flight was delayed and greeted us with a bottle of wine and some homemade nibbles. We would definitely recommend this area and this lovely house.

Soggiorno piacevolissimo

La casa è un piccolo gioiello. Rifinita benissimo, comoda e confortevole. I suoi terrazzini su più livelli sono davvero particolari e vi abbiamo potuto fare colazione e cenare piacevolmente all'aperto. La posizione è comodissima, a due passi da tutti i locali più frequentati e dal Castello di Conversano, cittadina con un centro storico incantevole e da cui è possibile raggiungere facilmente in auto alcune delle località più belle della zona (Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Ostuni, Alberobello, Grotte di Castellana). Siamo stati molto bene e ci ritorneremmo con piacere. Infine, va menzionata la particolare gentilezza e disponibilità di Marina che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Mariangela

Little jewel in Conversano

In this place everything is very good: the rooms are tidy, the kitchen is very well equipped, new bathroom with washing machine, the town is lovely and last but not least the Familiy Dragoneri is very kind and helpful. We will come back.

Perfect!

Stayed for 13 nights in September. It is a spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and lovely apartment. Has everything you need (except, maybe, for an american coffee maker). We so enjoyed the balconies, especially the large top floor terrace. Location in the beautiful centro of Conversano is ideal. The owners could not be more accomodating and helpful.

Un meraviglioso soggiorno

Ho soggiornato con la famiglia in questa ottima struttura nel centro storico di Conversano.La casa gode di una progettazione e ristrutturazione di pregio e nello stesso tempo molto funzionale con i suoi terrazzini ed un arredamento piacevole e funzionale:abbiamo potuto utilizzare glispazi esterni con le nostre cene a lume di candela tra tetti,chiese e campanili degustando i prodotti locali che abbiamo trovato nei mercatini,nel vicino caseificio e nelle macellerie e pescherie locali(ce ne sono diverse nei dintorni) senza dimenticare la focacceria barese !Un apprezzamento anche per la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei conversanesi e naturalmente della Sig,Marina Dragonieri.A Conversano è una vacanza a 360 gradi:bellezze storiche,cultura,mare e buona tavola con prezzi adeguati.Da ritornarci!
