Minimal aesthetically maximal in beauty

Beautiful place to stay. Very private. Minimal in design maximal in experience. A place for people that love design. Very quiet. Very Salento. Located close to the beautiful town of Martano, 15 minutes from the coast, 20 minutes from Lecce. One of the nicest pools I have every seen. Only think missing was a sofa.

Great House in Puglia

Wir hatten einen grossartigen Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Haus mit einem zauberhaften Pool. Die Lage des Hauses ist wunderbar, zum Meer, nach Otranto oder Martano ist es sehr nahe. Allesandra ist so nett und extrem hilfsbereit. Man findet hier Ruhe, insbesondere beim riesigen Pool.

Nous avons passés un séjour exeptionnel dans la maison d'Allessandra, calme,sérénité ,beauté du lieu. La piscine est superbe et Alessandra très accueillante et bienveillante.

Meravigliosa vacanza in Salento

La proprietà si trova in un contesto meraviglioso, immersa nel verde, con una piscina spettacolare e la proprietaria Alessandra sempre attenta a tutto. Vicino ad un mare stupendo e paesini bellissimi. Grazie di tutto ❤️

Stunning pool and garden with a traditional country house

Beautiful place with absolutely stunning pool, surrounded by olive trees. What you relly need to be aware of is that you are in the countryside - if you dislike insects this is not for you. This based on the fact that these "pagghiari" are open houses, so that insects or snails can come in through crevices. No problem for us, though. The property is fa away from any other houses, so you're really off the grid (but unfortunately close to a street which sometimes is a bit busy, so it's not as quite as we hoped for). The location is close to Martano, a nice little town with nice shops (bakeries, cheese, sweets, supermarket), cafes, bars, restaurants. Very relaxed athmosphere, almost no tourists. Nice host which has a wonderful local lady taking care of things, grazie mille! We would definitely consider coming back!

La maison est vraiment trop mignonne et l’extérieur est incroyable (piscine digne d’un architecte, terrasse, barbecue…) Alessandra, l’hôte, est très sympathique et disponible. Je recommande +++

Calme et repos

La maison est charmante, les environs appellent au repos. La piscine est splendide. L'aménagement de la cuisine est simple, les deux chambres ne sont pas communicantes ce qui peut être délicat avec de jeunes enfants mais parfait avec des ados! De belles vacances.

Un tuffo nel passato e .... in una splendida piscina

E’ stata una esperienza magnifica! Abbiamo soggiornato nella “storia”, dormendo in una antica “pagliara” realizzata in pietra oltre trecento anni fa per uso agricolo e adeguata alle esigenze odierne con aria condizionata e servizi per ogni stanza. Sono consapevole che si è trattato di una esperienza particolare che a taluni potrebbe non piacere (magari per i gechi che di notte si muovono sulla volta sopra il vostro letto, peraltro, senza arrecarvi alcun disturbo), ma si è trattato di una esperienza indimenticabile: un impatto autentico con la storia della Grecìa Salentina, così ricca di tradizioni. Splendida la corte tutta per noi delimitata da muri di pietra secco dove poter riposarsi, Al sole o all’ombra tra l’antico pozzo e la splendida tavola ricavata da una mola di pietra . Alessandra, proprietaria del sito, che sa coniugare con dolcezza gli impegni manageriali a New York con l’ospitalità in terra salentina, si è prodigata per rendere piacevole il nostro soggiorno con cura e gentilezza che hanno ampiamente superato ogni desiderata. In tempi di Covid 19 ci ha messo a disposizione la splendida e grande piscina Immersa nel verde, rinunciando all’uso di famiglia così come era previsto. In sintesi: un esperienza fantastica che speriamo di ripetere in futuro
