A Stone’s throw away

Such a great experience. The condo was comfortable and location was everything they said it was. Enjoyed all that Prescott had to offer. Was my first time viewing the parade and rodeo. Loved it all. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Cozy Condo

This condo was perfect for our short stay. It is within walking distance to downtown shopping, food, and coffee. We had our dog with us and having close access to the Granite Creek Trail was perfect. Very clean and kept up. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The best hosts and the perfect stay!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Michael and Susan’s lovely condo. We were so pleased to book for my son’s graduation. The condo is ultra clean, cozy and with the best hosts, who are so welcoming and communicative. It really feels like a home away from home! Thank you Michael and Susan! Whiskey Off Road

Condo is beautiful and clean, we had a great time hiking and enjoying the live music scene and food in Prescott. I did not know they had the Whiskey Off Road bike race that weekend so that was a nice suprise!!

A stones throw away

This condo is decorated and furnished with great taste and comfortable furniture. The beds very comfortable.The owners are great! Would definitely recommend staying here. We plan to return.

Great Location & Helpful Hosts

Super location. Can easily walk to Whiskey Row. Clean condo with nice kitchen and comfy beds. Hosts left a hiking map and hiking suggestions which was appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

We had a really great stay! The location was close to everything. Communication was excellent, the place was very clean, and we had everything that we needed. I highly recommend this rental.

Great stay!!!!

This is a very nice property located a few blocks from downtown Prescott so it was very convenient for eating and shopping. Prescott offers many things to do. The owners we incredibly organized and left nothing to chance. They thought of it all. We would certainly stay here again.

Great stay. Clean, comfortable, great location

Great property, clean, comfortable with everything we needed for a 3-night stay in Prescott. We had 4 adults and the 2 bedrooms with 2 baths were perfect for us. Good location, close to town and nearby restaurants. Michael was a wonderful host -- great communication & follow-up. Definitely recommend it.

The condo was spotless and very comfortable. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We were there to help our son rebuild his deck. It was so nice to be able to return to the condo where we could relax.

4 Week Stay Was Wonderful!

A Stone's Throw Away was a terrific place to stay! This is our first VRBO and it has worked out really well. We have been here for 4 weeks--and hope to return here again. Our time went too fast! The location is wonderful and it is so easy to take the Granite Trail into Prescott for coffee, dinner or just to get some exercise. This spacious condo really is a home-away-from-home. The condo has everything and Sprouts and Walgreens are nearby. We appreciate the hosts' hospitality and hope we will be able to return here again.

Attentive

Our hosts were extremely attentive! Esp during the time of a city-wide power loss due to storms! The location of this place is key - walked to many places! Home is well-stocked and welcome binder is very helpful. One room has a desk which was perfect for my husband to get in a few hours of remote work. We: hiked and hiked,cooked in, ate out, went to a show at the old theater, visited Sharlot Museum, took a day trip to Jerome. Some unusual things we did: went to Copper Museum in Clarkdale, visited Black Butterfly chocolate store in Prescott, and self-toured the courthouse. Interesting how Jerome’s, Clarkdale’s, and Prescott’s histories all intersect. This is a great, great place to stay - and we hope to return!

Great Location

The condo is in a great location, walking distance to downtown Prescott. Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Communication with the host was exceptional!

Small, comfortable and convenient

Perfect little place for a short stay. Clean and had everything you need to have an enjoyable Prescott experience. Including a very comfortable king bed in the primary bedroom. This condo is on the bottom floor with a very small and not-so-private patio. You can hear the above tenants but nothing that disturbed us. The bathrooms have very short countertops so if you’re tall like my husband and I, they were a little hard to lean over. Including the toilets. It would be a tight fit for four people even though it’s 2 bedroom, 2 bath. It is truly a stones throw from downtown and all the fun shops and restaurants. It is an older property but Michael and Susan are charming hosts and really care about their guests.

Wonderful property !!!

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this property and we LOVE it !!! Close to a huge amount of fun restaurants, great shopping, lakes and activities. The hosts are amazing, beds are comfortable and everything is extremely well appointed ! I would recommend this property without any hesitation. A cut above

So let me start by saying that I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties over the years. In many different locations. I have to say that this particular property was head and shoulders above anything I have ever rented before. The cleanliness and pristine condition was a cut above. My wife commented again and again on how incredibly clean everything was. Also, contrary of most other VRBO’s, this one provided everything you could need and more. They thought of every little thing. They even had a jar of coffee beans and a grinder for the coffee! Never seen that before. The hosts were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. They provided us with some valuable recommendations for local restaurants, and things to do. Let us check in early and every time I texted them with a little question he got back to me almost immediately. The furnishings were very very nice. Not some typical cheap rental stuff. Beds were comfortable and they had an incredible reclining leather couch. Kitchen had everything. They provided shampoo that smelled so good. Candles(and a lighter) was a nice touch. Everything worked!! We didn't want for anything. It is located in a fantastic location, very private, quiet and even had a little trail by a creek right outside our door. It was walking distance to restaurants and brewpub. The owners were great, and there’s no question that when I go back, and we will, there’s nowhere else we will stay. Highly recommended this property.

Perfect spot

A Stones Throw Away was the perfect spot for our stay while my son participated in a soccer tournament and toured Embry Riddle. The condo was clean and comfortable. The hosts were great, and made sure we made it safely and had everything we needed. It was in walking distance to The Lazy Dawg, which was a great place to grab a bite to eat. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I moved to Prescott in 2016. We fell in love with the area many years ago and put it on our list of potential "places to land". After putting 30,000+ miles in our 2006 Honda travelling around the country it came down to Austin TX & Prescott. We chose Prescott and haven't regretted a minute of it!

The area features antique stores & an award winning restaurants like "The Lazy G Brewery" & Bill's Grill. The Granite Creek Trail is at the entrance to the property so you can walk along the creek. The area has a local feel that is "Very Prescott".
