Family reunion

This was our second stay at this property.The house is beautiful, and perfect for a family. When we returned, it was just as we remembered it. We felt at home the moment we walked in.

The pictures of this house were what sold us on this one, and they don't even do justice to how cool this house is. We had some rainy weather, but were thrilled to just hang out in this space. We loved how close Indian neck beach was (we drove) and always found available parking at every Wellfleet beach (which we were worried about). This house was definitely a highlight of our trip to the Cape and will stay in our memories I'm sure. I hope we get the chance to stay there again.

Wonderful space and location!

Great family reunion location

Open layout was great for big dinners, conversations, sharing music and group activities. Location is great to P-town or down to Orleans. Kitchen well suited for large group dinners, everyone had such a great time!

Definitely clean & comfortable

This is our 2nd year of staying in this rental & we hope to come back next year! It’s a very comfortable open cabin style home with most everything included. We thoroughly enjoyed the advantage of being on a road that allowed both trail & road walking, running & biking — plus a really nice town beach — without venturing out onto Rte 6, if you didn’t want to! Every day was busy as we explored the variety of activities between Provincetown & Orleans, but it was always really nice to come back to the welcoming hominess of this place. Perfect accommodation for our family. Clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Everything we could need in the kitchen. Charming and warm decor. Perfect location near beaches and town of Wellfleet. Would love to stay there again.

Great family vacation

The home was exactly as described! Plenty of space, extremely well equipped kitchen, very clean! Loved spending time sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine at night! Location was great for beach and dining out! Definitely a place to return to!

Fabulous!

Our family so enjoyed the Cope House. The house was immaculate, well stocked, and perfectly located. There were so many interesting features about the house, including prints, photos, and article reprints.

Beautiful home in Wellfleet

Beautiful home in Wellfleet. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood and surrounded by trees. This would be a great house to share with one or two other couples.

The Cope house was absolutely beautiful! Claudia clearly spent a lot of time fitting the house out with everything a vacationer could possibly need. I found the property exceptionally clean and well maintained and plan on returning!

Perfect stay!! House was great, even with one bathroom! Large and spacious bathroom! The A/C actually cools the house down very quickly, was worried with the large A frame. Separate bedrooms definitely need the fans though, those were warmer, but we were comfortable. House was spectacularly clean. Our only negative is there is no smart TV. This seems so strange in a house that is so complete, mind you, on vacations we like to end nights with family movies. This made it not possible, we had to use our laptop. Vacations are not for TV, but watching movies is a bonding experience.Beautiful home, great location! You can’t go wrong.

Another wonderful stay

This was our second time staying at The Cope House, and it was just as amazing as the first! You really feel at home here, with everything you need in the kitchen for cooking in, a cozy stove for the off season chilly nights, and a wrap around porch to enjoy your coffee in the mornings. Beautiful Cape Get-Away

The Cope House was beautiful. We were traveling as a group of six friends and found the house perfect for our needs. The great room, porch, and kitchen were lovely; everything was clean; the location is fantastic. Claudia was super communicative and responsive, and we had a lovely stay. Thank you!

Cozy getaway on the Cape

Absolutely loved staying at Claudia's home. It was a cold weekend but the house warmed up quickly and was very cozy. Claudia made sure I had everything I needed and was very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to coming back in the warm months!

My Father, Peter Cope, built this home from hand with his many boat building skills. He based it on his boyhood memories of a summer home his grandfather had built in 1907 on the Pocano Lake Preserve. His aim was to create a home where family gathered to play and eat and laugh together.
