Montaione

My family stayed here during June. When I read the information before arriving, I thought this building would be close enough to ride bikes or walk several places. I also thought the bus or train would be very close. When we arrived at the train stop, I realized that we needed a cab. After our cab ride to the property, Francesco checked us in. Once he realized that we did not have a car he was concerned about our stay. He insisted that we get a rental car. He helped us locate a car, and he even had his worker give us a ride. They had to drive us all the way to Pisa and would not accept any money for the ride. He told me that he wanted us to enjoy our stay and experience Tuscany. We were very glad that we got the car. We were not far by car to many villages. We very much enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend staying here. The grounds were lovely, and there is a nice pool. It is a great location and the hospitality cannot be surpassed. Francesco is the best!!!

Magnífica base para visitar la Toscana

Borgo lo tiene todo para ser una excelente base desde la cual visitar los principales lugares de interés en la Toscana. En primer lugar su ubicación: cercana a Sam Gimignano y Volterra, a una hora de Florencia, Siena, Lucca o Pisa. Por otra parte sus instalaciones que proporcionan un entorno ideal para refrescarse y relajarse después de una jornada de visitas: bonita piscina y preciosas vistas sobre valles circundantes, especialmente en amaneceres y puestas del sol. La tranquilidad y los restaurantes de Montaione permiten terminar el día felizmente si no te apetece cocinar en el Borgo, que está perfectamente equipado para ello. Muy recomendable para familias. Y por último, un servicio muy profesional por parte de Jenny y Francesco.

Great

Very clean. Great views. Owner available and friendly. It came with all linens and toiletries. We had great weather in March and able to sit outside for dinner. Would be amazing in the summer. Only downside would be the sofa in living area, it was old and creaky and only space for two people out of 6. I would highly recommend.

Tolle Anlage in Toplage

Eine sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage in traumhafter Lage. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Sohn 9 war begeistert von den Pools, die einen wunderschönen Blick über die Toskana bieten. Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung Rufina, die über 2 Ebenen geht und viel Platz bietet auch für 6 Personen (also Großfamilien auf geht´s). Fazit: Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht und können Borgo la Casaccia nur empfehlen.

Beautiful base for a Tuscan adventure

What a great place to stay for an adventure in central Tuscany. Francisco was super helpful with all our needs. The pool was utilized every day and the sunsets spectacular. We managed to see both large tourist areas and small untouched areas.

Geräumige Ferienwohnung in schöner Landschaft

Wir hatten die Wohnung Colli senesi gemietet und zu zweit viel Platz, der sicher auch gut für vier Personen ist. In der Umgebung gibt es einiges zu unternehmen und zu sehen. Francesco gibt gute und hilfreiche Tipps., z.B. auch zu Restaurants. Die beiden Swimming Pools der Anlage sind sehr gepflegt und einladend. Fazit: Wir haben hier eine schöne Urlaubswoche verbracht und können Borgo la Casaccia weiter empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Anlage in Traumlage!

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Wunderschöne Ferienwohnungen in traumhafter Lage. Tolle Pools! Wunderschöner Garten. Unsere Kinder 3 & 5 Jahre genossen den Aufenthalt hier ebenso wie wir. Alles in allem: PERFEKT! Der beste Urlaub seit Jahren!

Belle demeure, beau site

Belle demeure, il faut cependant accepter la cohabitation entre plusieurs familles et supporter les travers de ceux qui "s'accaparent" de bon matin les fauteuils, transats, etc, à grand renfort de serviettes déployées. Gare également aux enfants bruyants qui se lèvent tôt ! Au delà de ces minis désagréments, le cadre est fantastique (malgré la ligne à haute tension tout près...), l'équipement correct et la piscine de bonne taille. Logements inégaux face à la possibilité de manger à l'extérieur, préférer ceux du RDC avec une terrasse privative. Propriété très propre et nettoyage quotidien des lieux communs. Propriétaire disponible, aimable et de bon conseil, sa notice écrite est parfaite et les adresses (restaurants, vignobles, lieux à visiter) sont top. Je recommande ce lieu à ceux qui savent passer outre aux désagréments ci-dessus.

Un très bel endroit

Magnifique demeure point de départ idéal pour visiter la toscane. Un super accueil de Franscesco, toujours disponible. Côté appartement : de belles pièces spacieuses, une bonne literie et de petites attentions comme les serviettes. Nous aurions aimé un micro ondes mais on peut sans passer :))

Amazing Place

We stayed at this place with two adults and four teenaged children for four nights. The apartment was perfect for us and everything was excellent except the weather, however I can't hold that against them :-) Francisco and his team have paid a lot of attention to detail and made this property a great location to vacation. We'd highly recommend staying here.

Entspannung und Toskana-Gefühl pur

Wunderschönes Haus mit tollem Garten, einem fantastischen Blick über die toskanische Landschaft und einem schönen Pool für Groß und Klein. Der Gastgeber Francesco ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und jederzeit für alle Fragen offen. Der Ort Montaione ist ideal gelegen für verschiedene Exkursionen - z.B. nach Siena, San Giminagno, Florenz, Volterra etc. Lage, Supermarktnähe, Sauberkeit - alles top! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Séjour très agréable, calme et ensoleillé

Famille de 5 personnes, nous avons logé dans l'appt "Colli Fiorentini" conforme à la description. L'appt et les communs étaient très propres et les lits étaient faits, chose très agréable !! Les chambres sont grandes et on ne s'y sent donc pas à l'étroit. A cette période, la piscine était fermée mais la résidence était calme, un vrai paradis... Petit bémol pour la douche : la cabine est assez étroite. Bon couchage, avec des oreillers à mémoire de forme !!! Très bon accueil de Francesco le propriétaire, qui a été de très bon conseil pour les visites, restaurants, et vins...;). Nous recommandons et y retournerons, d'autant plus que la région est magnifique et les gens très sympathiques. Merci Francesco et à bientôt.

Nice clean property, owner was very pleasant. Beautiful grounds around apartment, close to town.

We stayed here in the last week of March 2016. The owner of the property was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He spoke English very well and provided details of sites in the area to see, along with info on local restaurants. The apt was nice and clean and was pretty much just like the photos you see on line. Kitchen was equipped fine, beds were a little hard for my liking, but I am use to a really soft bed. We chose to stay here because it was centrally located in Tuscany area and suited our needs well to drive to all the various locations. It is located within 5 minutes of a good grocery store and various restaurants. There is a play area for small children outside, along with a ping pong table and two swimming pools. It is located on top of a hill and has a beautiful view of a surrounding valley on all sides of apt. We would recommend this place to families or couples wishing to visit Tuscany area. It was also reasonably priced and felt we would come back again, if we came back to the area.

Cadre magnifique, appartement chaleureux et très propre, nous avons passer des vacances en Toscane inoubliables ; la piscine n''était pas encore ouverte mais est très grande et sûrement très appréciée...je conseille cette location aux français désireux de découvrir Florence, Pise, San Gimignano et tous les villages à ne pas manquer ; idéalement placée pour cette découverte. Commerce à proximité donc aucun soucis de ravitaillement. Accueil très chaleureuse de Mr PELLIGRINI toujours de bons conseils et disponible...Alors si vous avez des enfants, n'hésitez pas, le cadre leur permet de se ressourcer avant les visites...

Beautiful Location

We choose Borgo La Casaccia for its location; the experience has been great! From there we reached Siena,Pisa and Lucca in approx.1 hour drive. We reached Florence by train that is a very comfortable solution. The owner Francesco gave us all details we needed and he was very helpful. Apartment was perfect and well furnished and the garden well maintained. Swimming Pools were closed but should be great in summer.

Perfect!

Our holiday at Borgo La Casaccia has been beautiful!! Thanks to Francesco and his suggestions. The apartment was clean and really nice, and we had an incredible view of the sunset from apartment’s windows. it’s a pity we couldn’t enjoy pools (panoramic) so we have to be back again in Spring!! I absolutely suggest you to eat “bistecca alla fiorentina” in the restaurant in the center of the town. Finally the location of the place is perfect, in the middle of Tuscany. Thank you and we will return for sure!
