Villa Paparouna

The villa’s location is excellent - off a quiet lane but very close to local amenities … bakery, mini supermarket and petrol station. Also close to some excellent traditional restaurants … and the very trendy but very expensive Eremitis Bar & Restaurant. Be warned! The setting of the villa with its flora and fauna is truly wonderful. It is quiet, peaceful and secluded. The pool is large and the outdoor furnishings are well appointed; however, a second parasol could be useful. The interior of the villa is comfortable; the kitchen adequate. Mimis the pool man was a fount of knowledg for anything and everything and always to hand. Always helpful. The island is incredibly small so it’s very easy to explore the main towns and get about easily and quickly. There are lots of very good restaurants to try. Chris will give you recommendations if you ask him. We had a most enjoyable week. Thank you Chris for sharing your lovely villa with us.

Beautiful house in a superb location!

We loved our stay at Paparouna. The house was perfect for the three adults and three young children and was Very clean throughout and well equipped. The secluded location was a bonus with easy access to Gaios, Longos and Lakka.

Wonderful, private villa for a family getaway on the magical island of Paxos

We had never been to Paxos before and found this tiny island to be a hidden gem. The villa is very close to Eremitis Bar and Restaurant, which has excellent food in a stunning location, particularly at Sunset.

Amazing place to stay

The villa was absolutely perfect. We stayed there 12 days, a very good Size for two families. We had everything we might need, a beautiful, clean and well maintained pool, a fantastic barbecue, a full fitted kitchen, beautiful views. Chris, The owner was very kind and helpful, satisfying all our needs . A wonderful experience thanks Chris!

Lovely, comfortable villa in beautiful location with stunning views

Our first trip to Paxos after a number of holidays in Corfu. We all (family of 5) loved the island - more laid back than Corfu but equally beautiful and people were very friendly. The villa has everything we needed - comfortable bedrooms, lovely pool and sitting areas etc. Chris couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.

Fantastic holiday

What a wonderful week we have had in gorgeous Paxos and the stunning villa. Chris was so helpful from start to finish. Always answering questions and giving us so much information. The villas was perfect. Gorgeous views, super swimming pool area and spacious inside. The maid came twice in the week which was fantastic too. We hired a boat for one day which was a super day and great to see the whole island and gorgeous beaches. The mountain taverna in Fontana was so delicious and such good value too. Already wondering when we can book another week there! Thanks so much to Chris. A truly memorable holiday.

A quiet retreat in a fabulous location.

Our party of six arrived at Villa Paparouna and were extremeley pleased with the Villa, facilities and location. The villa is located on a quiet road away from everthing and has a pool that is cleaned reguarly. All the rooms are very spacious and have en-suite bathrooms that were larger than we expected. The kitchen is adequate and has a dishwasher. The view from the Villa is outstanding and in the evenings the BBQ can be used after buying fresh produce from Giaos. The property was well maintained with excellent Wi-fi and all bedrooms were cleaned twice during our stay and towels changed. There are several restaurants nearby with superb views and the local Erimitis beach which is a jewel to have so close to the Villa. If you want a quiet getaway then this is the place. Many thanks to Chris Wilkinson and all the people who look after Villa Paparouna for a most wounderful stay. Daniel, Emma, Phil, Charlotte, Louise and Mahmoud.

A little bit of Paradise

Myself and my husband stayed in this beautiful Villa for a week. The property was exceptionally clean and every aspect was maintained to a very high level from the villa itself to the wonderful gardens and the pool. There was a handy man available if any problems arose(which there wasn't) and a lady came to clean three times over our stay. I also was very impressed with the attention to detail provided by the owners down to a hamper when we arrived with little necessities and treats to start our holiday, also instructions and directions concerning the location. The island itself is wonderful but I do recommend hiring a car so you can explore all the little beaches & Villages. The restaurants which impressed us most were Carnayo in Gaios & Bens Bar in Loggos(best octopus ever!!!). There is no question I will be recommending this Villa to all my friends as it was more than I had hoped for

Magical Place

My family stayed at “Villa Paparouna” in Paxos in May of this year. We found it to be such a special place, very unspoiled and the accommodation was excellent. The Villa was very comfortable – a home from home-and had every facility you could want on this type of holiday. The pool was a great asset and spotless as was the Villa, lovely decor and gorgeous soft furnishings , plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and a very well equipped kitchen. We even had a barbecue one night as there is a barbecue area beside the pool. All in all it was a terrific experience and a beautiful place made all the more enjoyable by the great accommodation “Villa Paparouna”. We will definitely be back.

Just what the Doctor ordered! Fantastic

Booking an independent Villa can sometimes come with a little risk. Fear not! Chris made our journey to probably the most beautiful Greek island trouble free from start to finish. The crossing from Corfu to paxos was very easy and having used the hydrofoil going and the ferry on the return , I agree with Chris that the ferry was the best mode of transport however it depends what timing fits in with your arrival or departure. Eating out featured very strongly in our holiday as I always planned to leave the pots and pans behind. Our favourite restaurant was just a short walk down the lane. Erimitis restaurant was the most atmospheric cliff top paradise with amazing sunsets and if you are lucky live classical music. We always booked ahead to guarantee the best seats in the house. We hired a boat for 5 days which was brilliant for getting around the island and visiting anti Paxos where the most beautiful view in the med is to be seen from the cliff top restaurant 200 steps later. Crystal clear water.. Many other wonderful eateries...... The villa was of a high spec and a nice retreat after a hard day walking or at the beach. A super sized pool for swimming, relaxing and ball games. Excellent maid service, so a true holiday, and help on hand when your daughter locks her keys to the annexe in her room, no trouble for Dimitri. To rescue them in time to get to the restaurant! Excellent all round and highly recommended.

Great villa.Will be back!

We decided to upgrade our accommodation on our second trip to Paxos!This place didn't disappoint!Chris was extremely helpful with all our questions running up to our arrival regarding transfers from Corfu,car hire etc! We would recommend this place to anyone and hope they enjoy it as much as we did!Sitting down by the pool with the BBQ going,drinking the local wine is definitely where we want to be right now...bliss! Thankyou for a great stay!!We will be in touch for next summer!
