Please note: This accommodation is not suitable for younger children. We welcome guests aged 13 and above.
Welcome to Domaine de La Banne, a luxurious barn conversion offering elegant accommodation for up to 6 guests, set within 7 hectares of beautiful Dordogne countryside. Just 2.2 km (25 minutes on foot) from the medieval village of Belvès, this peaceful retreat is ideal for adults or families with older children seeking space, privacy and relaxation, complete with a private heated saltwater pool and superb outdoor living areas.
About the Barn:
The barn offers three tastefully decorated ensuite bedrooms, all with king-size beds. Two bedrooms can be configured as twins if preferred. The accommodation is arranged to provide both comfort and privacy, with an independent garden bedroom and generous shared living spaces.
The barn has its own private entrance, private parking, and access to an EV charger, and is adjacent to, yet completely separate from, the owners’ home.
Begin your day with coffee on the balcony terrace, overlooking the gardens, or enjoy long, relaxed evenings cooking and dining in the covered summer kitchen beside the pool.

Private heated saltwater pool (11 x 4m) exclusively for guests.
Spacious 84 sqm upper-level living area with open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining space.
Fully equipped modern kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Independent ground-floor garden bedroom (35 sqm) with ensuite, private entrance, seating area, TV, fridge and tea & coffee facilities.

After a career in media and theatre, I, along with my husband David, moved to Sagelat to fulfill a long-held dream of living in France. After a two-year search, we found La Banne in 2017 and immediately fell in love with the property. We made the exciting decision to leave London and start a new chapter in the Dordogne.
We knew we wanted to share the beauty and tranquility of this incredible place with others, so in 2019, we converted the upper level of our barn into a stylish, contemporary gîte apartment.
It has been a true pleasure welcoming guests to La Banne and meeting people from all over the world. We love seeing how guests relax, unwind, and fall in love with the setting - just as we did.
We take great pride in offering a warm welcome and are always happy to share our knowledge of the region, while also respecting our guests’ privacy by providing a friendly, yet unobtrusive service.
In 2018, we added two wonderful dogs to our family, Leo and Libby, who bring us endless joy!
