Beautiful property in a lovely residential area. Close to the Leaning Tower. The owner, Valeria, was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the property. Nothing negative to report.

Villa Lazzarino is a wonderful place in the middle of the historic Pisa town. All the monuments and many many restaurants and cafes are at walking distance. We choose the location with the whole family (4 generations, 9 people) because of this great advantage beyond the fact that in 20 minutes by car you can reach some lovely beaches. The house itself is a beatiful villa from the beginning of the 19th century, full of history. Valeria is a great host. She is helpful with everything you need for your stay either in the house or in Pisa and the surroundings. She has always a recommendation for a good restaurant or the best beach. We felt very welcome and it was a pleasure to join her for a glass of wine in the evening. By the way she is also a very good cook which we experienced on the last day when she prepared dinner for all of us. The rooms are spatious, mattrasses are comfortable and everything is clean and well working despite the fact that this is a historic building. Beyond the flat on the first and second floor we had an additional kitchen with a large table in the garden. This was the place where we all grouped together in the evening for dinner. Very welcome were the mosquito nets at windows and doors which allowed to get some fresh air in the night. The rooms under the roof have air conditioning. Finally to the great joy of our grand-daughters there were 5 loverly bunnies jumpyng around in the garden. The beautiful planted garden can be used by the guests and has a hammock for relaxing.

Our host was most gracious and polite. She emersed us in the local culture right in her own backyard garden with an impromptu concert by a trio of local musicians. Excellent Pisa vibe.

Belvilla was a great house!

The house and host were both great! It is very clean and well stocked. The outdoor garden spaces and outdoor kitchen are wonderful! And the semi-tame bunnies in the yard are adorable. The host is very responsive and nice. However, it was definitely further from things than I had understood it to be. The Leaning Tower was a 1 mile walk and the Central Train Station was a 1 1/2 mile walk. The other thing was that the only "gathering" room outside of the kitchen was up the sprial stair case and was very small with seating for 4. I had to duck to avoid the rafters and I am only 5'3" tall. If the weather had been warmer we would have been outside and not cared about this though. All in all, I would recommend the house as long as you either have a car or are comfortable with the long walks. It is a great property!
