Super stay in superb villa

Our two families (10 people) stayed in this villa for a week in July. Absolutely excellent experience from start to finish, and we would definitely return given the chance. The villa is fantastic for older teens and adults; plenty of living space, very nicely furnished, and equipped with everything you could need. The basement level games room was a big reason why we chose this property and it delivered exactly what we hoped and needed. Roof terrace was another big hit. 10 out of 10 (including the local management and cleaning team).

Family holiday

Excellent experience from start of booking process until our arrival and then time to go home. Property is amazing. Clean, spacious and of a high standard. Roof terrace and games room in basement are fabulous additions especially to keep everyone entertained. Good location…. Hills to walk up back from beach and front but doable. Overall an brilliant holiday and experience

A beautiful family home

The attention to detail you have gone into when it comes to equipment is commendable, from utensils to equipment. Your assistance with the airport transfers will wonderful and the villa is exceptional. Pool wall could do with a touch up. A welcome pack may be a good idea that you include as an extra bread, milk, butter and fresh fruit and juices.

Dear John Many thanks for your feedback, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay. The property is lived in throughout the winter so there are certain personal items that the owner doesn't permit the use of, but they are not listed on the amenities in the advertisement as being available for guest use. With regard to the roof barbeque there are two barbeques on the top deck, the gas one is for the owner's personal use and the charcoal one is for clients. There is a further barbeque for client use next to the pool on the ground floor. Kind regards Gemma

Just perfect

A beautiful villa with wonderful views. As a family of 10 there was plenty of room for all of us and the rooftop terrace was a fantastic place to enjoy evening meals. Good sized pool and the basement games room was well used in the late evening.Would love to go back as Luz is a great place for a family holiday. A full sized bbq on the roof terrace would be a welcome improvement. Bit of a chore carrying all the food from the poolside bbq up to the top although it did not detract from our enjoyment of the Villa

Absolutely nothing to fault about Fawlty Towers villa

Our two families (10 adults and late teens) rented this villa for a week. It was our first time in Praia da Luz and first time renting via Luz Villa Rentals. In summary we would not hesitate to use the company or to rent the villa again. The communication and flexibility offered by Gemma and co at Luz Villa Rentals in the weeks up to our stay was excellent and responses to questions were quick. Directions and check in info were clear. The villa itself is superb. Plenty of comfortable space for all of us and the place is well decorated and designed and exceptionally well equipped. The games basement room was a huge plus. Best villa stay we can remember! Cannot think of anything!

Fawlty Towers is a relaxing base to explore the Algarves

As a group of 9 with adults and young adults we found Fawlty Towers comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The roof top deck offered great views and was a comfortable place to relax with a coffee in the morning or enjoy an evening drink. The pool and deck were a great place to hang out and cool off while the young adults really enjoyed the game room. Additionally, with multiple living spaces, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the management staff were very responsive. The villa was located within easy walking distance of the city center which had a beautiful beach, nice cafes, good restaurants, relaxing bars and a couple grocery stores. We were only a short drive (or Uber) to Lagos, which is a bit larger and offers even more beaches, cafes, shops, restaurants and bars. I'd highly recommend Fawlty Towers as a great base from which to enjoy the Algarve region of Portugal!

Absolutely breathtaking property

Oh how I want to give this property 5 stars. It is one of the most amazing properties we've stayed at as far as beauty of both the property itself and the views! The amenities are very nice as well featuring well appointed indoor and outdoor kitchens, a great swimming pool & game room, and a rooftop terrace with sweeping ocean views. Dara, the property manager, was very helpful and friendly. The only reason this property is losing a star is the beds. The only mattress we felt was really comfortable was the upstairs master. The mattresses on the twin beds were OK. The king mattress downstairs was not very good and the double mattress in the downstairs master was terrible. It was no longer holding shape and very springy. It was definitely a shame for some of our party of 8 not to be able to get good sleep in such a lovely location. If the mattresses were upgraded to reflect the quality of the rest of the property, we would be giving it an enthusiastic 5 star review and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Thank you for your review, Ryan, it is much appreciated. We will pass on your comments about the mattresses to the owner and I am sure he will look into upgrading them. Kind regards Tony

Stunning villa

The villa catered perfectly for 4 generations from 4 months to 79 years of age. Perfect location for accessing the beach and restaurants on foot. Villa was spotless and well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. The roof top with garden furniture, table, chairs and stainless steel outdoor kitchen is spectacular the views from here looking over the sea are incredible. Would highly recommend this villa for the perfect algarve stay. A key for the front gate would be useful for keeping the little ones save.

Pleasant Stay

Lovely time in the villa, more than large enough for a big group, it was really clean and the photos almost didn't do the property justice! Excellent stay!
