We certainly want to give an honest review. This property had positives and things to consider: Pros: Views were stunning! High Home is a peaceful, quiet, charming getaway in the hills of Sonoma. The managers of the property were responsive to needs and remedied issues- such as the hot tub needing tending to. The owner has a terrific personal masseuse, Anne, who does home services. It was stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, paper goods, and a full kitchen. The bidet toilets were a luxury! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The cozy fireplace and terrific screened in patio were wonderful. Before Booking: It’s called “High Home” for a reason! Navigating tight, twisting unlit roads was a problem. Beware that some Uber/Lyft drivers or a taxi service are not keen on driving through the hills. Safeway grocery will not deliver to the home. Layout: There are 3 bedrooms & 3 full baths. Only one is an “en suite”. To get from the back of the house to the front, guests must either walk outside OR walk through the primary, en suite master bedroom/bath. Communication: Professionalism matters! In an exchange of texts, the owner referred to us “a nightmare”. We requested a face-to-face meeting to address it but was turned down. That is unfortunate!
