We had a lovely 4 night stay at this charming cabin in wonderful surroundings. Lots of birds and wildlife to spot. Cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Lots of little touches around the place added to the homely feeling. We’ll definitely be recommending to friends and we will be back again soon.

We've just returned from a fantastic weekend stay at Blelham Tarn and would happily stay again.From the moment we booked, communication from Andy and Maggie was excellent. Their instructions were clear, concise, and made everything very straightforward.The cabin is ideally located, just a 10-minute drive from the centre of Ambleside, yet it feels wonderfully secluded, giving you the sense of being miles away from everything. We really appreciated the peace and tranquillity. The on-site pool and sauna were a huge hit, especially with our two teenagers, and provided a great way to relax after a day of exploring.The cabin itself was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We genuinely couldn't find any faults and have no negative comments at all.Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommended.

Lovely cabin, well situated spot. Welcoming warm and cosy, sesonally decorated. The double bed is one of the most comfortable we slept Equipped with everything you need and more.Great easy and friendly communication with the hosts. Will certainly return in the future and recommend to friends and family.

Amazing location - Wonderful log cabin

We were a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) staying at this beautiful log cabin for 3 nights. The location was fantastic…only a few minutes drive from Ambleside. The log cabin was spotlessly clean, and everything we could possibly need. The outdoor space is a bonus with some amazing views. We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you 💕

Maggie and I have been renting our private holiday home to discerning guests for quite some time now and we have met and been reviewed by some lovely people along the way. We both retired from our full time employment in 2019 and took the opportunity to relocate to the beautiful Isle of Man; but we still visit The Lakes every 6 weeks or so. In the meantime our trusted housekeeper ensures that our guests are very well catered for.

Commercial parks are great but they're not everybody's cup of tea. For those who want mature and tranquil woodland surroundings and to be close to wildlife then our privately owned lodge is ideal. There's no central clubhouse, no sky sports and definitely no bar-room bingo. If you want that then nearby Parkdean Resorts can be found easily on Google.

Bird life is in abundance. Red squirrels can often be seen scurrying from branch to branch and deer sometimes visit our garden looking for any carrots or parsnips that guest may leave out.
