The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this comfortable 2-bedroom apartment located next to Plaza Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona.



This apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. This apartment has a great balcony ideal to enjoy Barcelona's summer days.



The apartment is 3 minutes from Metro Plaza de Catalunya (Red Line L1 & Green Line L3).



The Space:

Welcome to this 87 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya.



We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!



APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:

The apartment has a capacity for up to 5 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:



- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed

- Bedroom 2: 2 Individual beds

- Living room: sofa bed (a new sofa has been installed)

The Neighborhood:

Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



-Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great location

The unit has easy access and is right in the heart of things, near La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya. There was enough space for our family to spead out and rest after days of walking and enjoying the city life.

Great stay, fantastic place

very comfortable apartment in a great location! It is in busy downtown but if it is a short stay you will appreciate being close by and at walking distance of everything relevant.

Great stay

We had a great time in this terrifically located Barcelona apartment. It is in the middle of everything, so we walked most places and when we needed to take the metro, that was just steps away too. All of the furnishings were comfortable and our family of 4 had plenty of space.

Great starting point to discover Barcelona

Facing the back of the building (with a lovely balcony), the apartment is fantastic to explore Barcelona with public transportation and walking. The host always responded accurately and swiftly to our inquiries. We love the app used to unlock doors with no risk of losing physical keys. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect spot in the middle of the city!

This place was a gem! Perfect spot in the heart of the city. Just metro station was literally right across the street. Super spacious apartment with all the amenities. Close to tons of restaurant and Las Ramblas. Would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable and spacious

This rental gave our family of 4 very ample room to spread out during our 4 night stay. This apartment is far larger than the photos suggest. Having a washer and dryer is also a plus. Working with the management company was simple and their responses to my questions were quick. Thank you for a great place to stay!

Perfect Location

It's a fantastic place—more significant than the photos—and clean. The response time is remarkable. The only issue is that the living furniture could be more comfy. The beds are fine. They had a door issue and accommodated us.

Excellent location!

We stayed for a week and loved our stay. The property was in a perfect location and close to all attractions. Everything was in walking distance. We had some minor issues but contact with host was amazing. The host answered within minutes and was available for any assistance. I would recommend a few more amenities such as 2 towels per guest but otherwise unit was 100% and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!!!

Superb stay

First and foremost, the location of the apartment is perfect. It is located right across subway station and near close by the Main market, everything else is reachable by walk too. The apartment itself is accommodated with all the basics you need and has A/C. There’s an elevator in the building: There was minor issues, but all have been dealt with the property management. It was a great stay, I’ll recommend it.

I have used your services several times, either alone or with friends, and the service is always impeccable. Thank you. However, I would like to share my disappointment regarding the quality of the apartment. I have stayed there before.In the kitchen: the dishwasher is in poor condition, the rack inside is rusty and broken. Some cabinets need finishing repairs. In the bathroom adjacent to the kitchen, the sink was clogged all week, just like the last time I was there. The locks on both bathrooms needed to be changed, which was done during my stay. Thank you. I want to highlight the excellent work of the two men who came. Although they did not speak English, they were very courteous.In the bedroom, the hinges on one of the closets were torn off. In the living room, the floor lamp did not work, the wire was ripped out. There was really a maintenance problem in this unit.

This was my first experience in an AirBB. Friends talked me into it. We enjoyed ourselves, we felt safe and the apartment and building was clean. I personally prefer a hotel and I still do, make my bed and clean my room everyday, that's just me.

Great location to stay in Barcelona!

This property was the perfect location, central to most of Barcelona's attractions and offerings. We were able to walk to almost anywhere we wanted to go to. Also, EL Corte Ingles was across the street, which allowed us to buy groceries and any other items that made our stay more comfortable. The property managers were VERY communicative before & during our stay. Only slight negative was that the flooring was damaged in some areas, requiring us to wear sandals or socks in one of the bedrooms & the kitchen was well stocked with some things but lacked a few items most may want. Would definitely stay there again & hopefully with some minor maintenance it would push this property to 5 stars. Thank you!

To be very honest we loved the location but that is about all. The apartment wasn't in the best of shape, using tape to hold the floor boards down, the ceiling above the shower was truly sagging. All of the Ikea furniture has had the edges torn off them. The walls are banged up pretty bad. If you like a second pillow you better bring it. If you like a good drying towel you better bring it or they charge 8 euros for a second towel. If Dollar Tree rented apartments this would be it! The glass tray in the microwave is missing so you pray that your spinning cup doesn't tip over. The beds (cots really) weren't that comfortable. No, there wasn't a body inside the couch...we checked.

Dirty and poorly maintained

Sewer gas smell in second bathroom. Mold, stained tiles and just plain dirt in both bathrooms. Patio doors do not close and lock. No drain covers in 2 of 3 sinks. Broken dishwasher racks. Stained towels. Broken cupboard doors and drawers. Lack of paper products and dishwasher and laundry soap. I could go on, but I’m going to run out of space. We have stayed at some wonderful VRBOs in Italy and Portugal as well as the US and we have always enjoyed our accommodations. This disaster was a first for us. The best thing that I can say is that the location was good.

Great Location! We had a great time.

By and large this place worked out GREAT for us! The location was perfect (loved the coffee shop next door) Even though we were in a bustling part of the city it felt safe and the nights were quiet (good for jet lag recovery). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of hot water and it was super convenient having the washer and dryer in the apartment. Things were clean and as expected. The grocery store across the street was a total bonus!I know I'm nitpicking here but I think the apartment could do with a little refresh. The couch was a little stained and uncomfortable, a few more comfy chairs in the living room would be good. Some other furniture just looked a little worn out. I wish we had been given a few more bath towels. The apartment came with one dishwasher tab and one laundry tab which isn't quite enough for a week's stay. Bring you own kitchen staples (salt, pepper, evoo, coffee filter, etc) as there are no leftovers from previous visitors. These are all small things and didn't really detract from our stay - FYI for a future visitor.We did have one little wrinkle which is that the door broke and we couldn't get back in the apartment for several hours. I'm positive that was a fluke problem, but it did take a while to fix. Having said that, the responsiveness of the team (through the vrbo chat) was excellent: polite, eager to solve problems, and apologetic at the inconvenience. I would stay again!!

The location is excellent, building dedicated to short term rentals, there is no reception or staff. Our experience was less than perfect. For starters, they sent an email to register and pay for turists fees which we missed as we were traveling. This process would allow us to get access codes, all is accessed via virtual keys to front door, lobby and unit. We arrived and were able to get into the apartment as the cleaning lady was preparing the unit but we weren't able to drop off bags out fear of not being able to gain access. We couldn't get a hold of the property owner, emergency number was to a call center that seemed to be in South America. We called more than 10 times asking for our access codes and they kept saying they couldn't provide codes, only send messages to the property manager and we had to wait. This was on Dec 31st, we thought that we'd end up staying in the apartment for New Year's Eve since we couldn't lock the door and leave our stuff behind and then not being able to access. The call center had the ability to remotely open the doors but that didn't seem reliable, we "tested" the option and the person at the other end kept saying that she was unlocking the door but nothing happened. Finally received codes after 3 hours of aggravation.The apartment was in a sorry state of broken and tired furniture, balcony door didn't close,ref door didn't close properly,flooring was peeling in some areas, linens were dingy and rough. Would not recommend staying here!

Die Lage ist wirklich top, direkt am Place de Catalunya mit Verkehrsanbindung in alle Richtungen. Die Fenster sind gut, denn man hört kaum Straßenlärm (Fenster u Balkon zum Innenhof) Das Mobiliar und die Bäder sind allerdings reichlich abgewohnt und die Griffe in der Küche klebten alle. Die Sauberkeit hätte schon besser sein können. Aber alles in allem okay für einen Aufenthalt in dieser tollen Stadt!
