Al Carmine Apartments in the walled city of Lucca, Tuscany, with breathtaking views

Located in the historic center of Lucca, 100 meters from the Guinigi Tower and Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, Al Carmine Apartments offers accommodations with breathtaking views of the city. Housed in a 13th-century building built on Roman foundations, this apartment is 350 meters from Piazza San Michele and 400 meters from Lucca Cathedral. The Lucca villas, including Villa Reale, are about 7 km away.

This apartment features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with bidets, a kitchen with a refrigerator, a seating area, and 2 flat-screen TVs.

Nearby points of interest include San Michele in Foro, Piazza Napoleone, and the Basilica of San Frediano. It is 18 km from Pisa International Airport, the nearest airport.

This area of Lucca is a favorite among our guests, according to independent reviews, because it's right in the heart of the historic center yet in a quiet neighborhood.

Couples really appreciate the location: they've rated it 10 (or 5 stars) for a romantic getaway.

Visiting Lucca

This unit is a great location for a family or anyone who wants to be near to amenities. There is a grocery store next door, a very good restaurant across the walkway, a nearby laundromat and a short distance to shops. cafes, the city square and city wall.

This is a wonderful property in a location a quick walk from dining and shopping. (One of the best restaurants we dined in is right outside your door.) The apartment is comfortably appointed with all you need for your stay. Francesco is an excellent and gracious host and can provide excellent recommendations for dining and sights in Lucca. We would rent the apartment again without hesitation.

One night in Lucca

Property was wonderful and Francesco was very helpful, even helping us carry our luggage up to the apartment. The parking was at an off site location which was slightly inconvenient but once again Francesco helped out tremendously by shuttling us back and forth to the car.

Lovely Lucca

The apartment is wonderful! Perfect location and within walking distance of everything Lucca has to offer. Amazing view of the tower! Nicely furnished and very clean. Francesco was incredible! He picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, in addition to carrying our bags up and down several flights of stairs. He gave us a number of recommendations for restaurants and a gelato shop (that was our favorite in Italy!). I would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thank you so much, Francesco!

Great host and location

Francesco was a fabulous host and the apartment was amazing. The views, amenities, and convenience of being in the city walls made our stay very memorable. Francesco went above and beyond multiple times, providing advice and recommendations that were on point about Lucca and all of Italy.
