***NO SHOWER***
Be aware there is no shower here. Listing says bathtub/shower but there is only a tub with no curtain & you have to hose yourself down with a wand all while trying to not splash water everywhere. The home itself is very cute and in a decent location within walking distance of Vatican City. Check in process was easy and she was very kind and helpful.
After a long day of walking around in the heat & humidity, the last thing you want to do is get home and not be able to have a proper shower. We are very clean people and like to shower twice a day but while staying here we dreaded every time we had to shower and only showered once a day.
Mini split did not work in the bedroom only in the living room which made sleeping in the room uncomfortable. We had to leave the door wide open and run the mini split from the living room all night to try to cool off the bedroom.
Given the chance we would not stay here again. The home is cute & the host is very nice but those two things made our stay very uncomfortable & for the price we paid we would expect everything to work and not have to hose ourselves down for a “shower”
If you can look past the shower this would be a good place to stay but unfortunately for us this was not the best experience.
Again I just want to be very clear & give an honest opinion, the location is good, the home feels very safe, the owner is very kind & the home is very cute but has No shower only a tub you have to sit down in and use a wand to rinse off.
