Splendid penthouse with a private terrace with a breathtaking view of the Dome of the Cathedral.
The apartment is located in the historic center of the city in a lively and dynamic neighborhood. The apartment is located on the top floor of a building with a small lift. It is equipped with 6 beds and is ideal for families and groups of friends.
Structured on several levels: the first level consists of a large living room with TV corner, bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds. The large living area offers unique views of Borgo San Lorenzo and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
A staircase leads to the upper floor where the two bedrooms are located, one of which with private bathroom. Finally, the corridor in the heart of the apartment leads to the wonderful terrace overlooking the Duomo.

Upon arrival, our guests will find a courtesy kit to meet their first needs (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.).
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone. 
Check-in is by appointment from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For arrivals after 8:00 PM, a supplement will be applied.

Service limitation:
Air conditioning in Italy is regulated by national laws that set a minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum of 22°C.
The temperature values ​​allowed in our apartment are 19°C (+ 2°C tolerance) up to a maximum of 21° C. Based on Decree no. 383 of 6/10/2022 of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, for the winter season, the period of switching on the systems for the Municipality of Florence is allowed from 8 November to 7 April, for a maximum of 11 hours per day.
Pay attention to your house keys. In case of loss or non-delivery of the keys, a cost of 50 Euros will be charged for replacing the lock for security reasons.
For urgent interventions caused by the guest outside office hours (from 10pm to 8am) a payment of EUR100 will be required. 

As per italian law n°214/2011 (art. 40.1) the italian police require us to report our guests' identification details. The info that guests are required to provide include a valid ID and resident address.
To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, we recommend using the shower one person at a time. The apartment is equipped with a water heater, so simultaneous use of hot water may temporarily reduce the water temperature. . Amazing stay and beautiful home

The apartment is in PERFECT location right in the center of Florence. Close to the Duomo and on a popular street but high enough it being quite. The deck was perfect with a great view and host was great with the check in and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend staying and was the perfect place for our group of 4.

Amazing location and view!

This apartment was in the most perfect location. We enjoyed our morning coffee with the beautiful view in the terrace. Check in went smoothly and the host was super helpful and available.

The lift was wonderful to have with our 70 year old father. Everything was about a 10-15 min walk from the apartment (The David or Uffizi Gallery) which was great and having the Duomo less than a 2 minute walk was wonderful!

Perfect location

This property is in the absolute best location. Almost at the footsteps of the Cathedral. Close to all the shops on and around the main square. Elisa was the best at showing and explaining the property to us upon arrival. Rooftop patio is legit at sunset. If we ever get back, this is where I am staying.

Wow! Location is perfect!

This apartment really blew us away with its proximity to the duomo. It was so awesome to sit in the living room, kitchen, patio, and gaze up at it. It was the right size for our family of five, with comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The shower drain on the second floor was a bit slow and we had some trouble keeping the shower hot enough, but that was literally the only downside we experienced. Everything else was terrific. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wow. This location is unreal.

Walking into this apartment and catching a glimpse of the duomo right out the living room window took our breath away. This apartment provided the perfect exposure to the amazing sites of Florence. We had plenty of space and loved the view from the breakfast terrace. The pics don't do this place justice. I highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again in the future. The location can't be beaten.

The Best!

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment so much! Clarissa was quick to respond to all our questions, and Marija kindly met us at the door to let us in and show us around. She even gave us some suggestions! Beds were good and there was hot water for the showers. It is within steps of the Duomo, and a very direct walk to the David, the Central Market, and the train station. We enjoyed escaping the crowds by sipping our wine in the evenings on the terrace. I would highly recommend!

Incredible rooftop terrace

The weather was a bit cool and rainy during our stay, so we didn’t make as much use of the rooftop patio as we might have otherwise, but you have a view of the Duomo on one side and the Basilica San Lorenzo on the other. Beautiful at every time of day!! The location can’t be beat - you are situated in the centre of everything but we didn’t hear any street noise. The house is spacious, but I think not great for the price otherwise. The furnishings were pretty run down. The staff we dealt with for check in were very friendly, professional and accommodating.

Gorgeous View in the Heart of Florence

What a wonderful location! Walking distance from Santa Maria Novella train station and all the major sites you want to visit. The old building is super charming and the view of the Duomo from the kitchen and roof deck is priceless. We loved hearing the church bells at various times throughout the day. There are a lot of stairs involved with staying here - up to the apartment (there’s a small elevator) and then up to 2 of the bedrooms and the kitchen/roof deck, so if you have bad knees it might not be the best place for you, but I just took some Advil and enjoyed that view. I will definitely recommend Borgo San Lorenzo to any friends traveling to Florence.

Percect location, accurate description

Our family of five stayed for four nights in the brutal July heat. Staying in this apartment significantly improved our trip. It was spacious, well maintained and exactly as advertised. The central location could not have been more perfect. We were able to get anywhere of interest in under 10 minutes walk. There were virtually unlimited options for restaurants within a few blocks. The AC and lovely living room provided an oasis from the heat allowing us to recharge and get back out there. The only potential challenge would be the stairs if you are not up for four flights. But we had a great time.

Different

The place was much older than the pictures showed and the cleanliness was just basic. There were foot prints on the floor when we got inside the unit. There was no hot water in the shower upstairs and this same shower did not drain. The location made it easier for us but ithe unit was not as depicted.

Ubicazione e vista insuperabili

La vista dalla terrazza e l’ubucazione centrale sono insuperabili. Siamo stati in sei con due ragazzini di 11 anni e con i nonni. Siamo stati benissimo. La casa è sileziosa e confortevole.
