Casa Roper is a two bedroom villa situated a short stroll from the Marina Rubicon. It is tastefully furnished throughout and has excellent outside facilities for those hot days and balmy nights. It is conveniently located with the nearest supermarket and taxi rank being only meters away. A short walk takes you to the wonderful Marina which has many excellent restaurants for eating out and a further stroll along the promenade takes you into Playa Blanca which has a wide variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Ideal for families and couples seeking relaxation.

This was our 2nd stay. Great villa for a relaxing stay. Great location and easy to walk to Marina or get the local bus into the centre of Playa Blanca. Would recommend. Great pool and outside area

Casa Roper June 25

The villa was very nice for a fortnight in the sun. Julie is very good at communicating and answering any questions we had before and during the stay. The number 30 bus is a few minutes from villa if you want to visit the otherside of Playa. If you don't mind walking then the Marina is about 15 mins away. Really nothing to fault with the villa and we would definitely stay there again. The Hyperdino is so convenient. Loved the fresh bedding and fresh towels we got during our 2 weeks. The additional fan in the bedroom was most welcome. Villa was well equipped and had everything we needed.

Little Gem

Fantastic like villa in great location. Lovely outside area and bbq. Comfortable sofas in lounge and all sky channels Netflix etc. Great communication with owner when a replacement hairdryer was needed which was delivered to us shortly after. Only downside is finding a date that’s not already booked. We shall definitely return at some point.

Great budget property

Location is within walking distance of the marina rubicon. Roughly 15 minutes. Although we had a car. Just around the corner there is a good supermarket and now an Indian restaurant which is open all day. The villa is well equipped and has a great shower upstairs. The villa has sun nearly all day and the pool was cleaned twice a week during our stay. We had a couple of issues, but Julie the host was fantastic. The problems were sorted as quickly as possible.

Fantastic villa

We absolutely loved our stay at the villa. It was exactly as described. We were after a peaceful holiday. Great location. Fantastic pool to laze about each day. 20 minute walk to Marina. Great Hyperdina around the corner for all the essentials. New Indian restaurant at the end of the street. We used the local bus service. The bus stop was just around the corner from Villa. Would highly recommend. We’llbe back.

Great stay in a perfect location

Stayed 8 nights recently and was absolutely perfect. There was a slight initial problem but communication with owner was outstanding and this was rectified straight away. Spotlessly clean villa, great warm pool and brilliant location. Everything in the villa you could require, 1 min walk to shop/cafe (soon to be Indian restaurant) and 5/10 mins to nearest bar/restaurants. Bus stop right outside the property to take you into Playa Blanca and a modern football pitch which was perfect for my football mad son who went to train everyday. Outstanding villa in the best location and can't wait to return next year. Thanks for a brilliant holiday.

Cost Villa in central location.

I would highly recommend Casa Roper. Great facilities and an amazing pool. Very near to the marina for all the restaurants and shops. I will be returning as soon as I can.

Great location villa

Villa is in a great location, with a supermarket round a corner and the marina just a short walk away. We didn’t hire a car this time having had issues the last 2 times we’ve rented. But didn’t need one. Everything in walking distance. Julie the owner was great with all communication and allowed us a late check out which we were extremely grateful for. Villa on the whole was good. Upstairs is great with very comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. The only thing is that there’s no air con which was fine in feb but the ceiling fans don’t work (only one works in the twin room) Downstairs could do with a bit of TLC to be honest, but it didn’t spoil out enjoyment of the villa - it’s just not quite as expected.

tolles Haus, super Lager, und erst der Pool....

Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in dem Haus von Julie und Kirk verbracht. Als wir ankamen war der Pool durch den Wind sehr sandig und gleich am nächsten Tag wurde er gereinigt. Wir haben den beheizten Pool sehr genossen. Gerade im April ist es wirklich toll, einen beheizten Pool zur Verfügung zu haben. Die Lage fanden wir auch super. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke und abends sind wir gerne zur Marina Rubicon spaziert. Wir hatten einen Leihwagen und haben den Fehler gemacht ihn an der Straße vor dem Grundstück stehen zu lassen. Das gab einen Strafzettel. Mit diesem Stafzettel geht man zur Polizei in Playa Blanca am Busbahnhof und bezahlt dort direkt. also man sollte auf dem Grundstück parken oder auf den markiertem Parkpläten in der Straße vom Supermarkt. Es gabe aber auch Dinge, die für uns nicht ganz so schön waren. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, wenn bei den Nachbarn geklingelt wurde, dachten wir, dass das bei uns ist. ;-) Und die Betten - leider sind die Matratzen sehr hart. Das hat uns nicht so gut gefallen. Und leider sind die Einzelbetten keine 2,00 m lang, sondern nur 1,90 m. Dies stand nicht in der Anzeige und für unseren Sohn mit 1,92 m war das Bett zu kurz. Alles im allem ein super Haus, nur die Betten sind nicht für jeden optimal.

Great space

The house was very well located, a supermarket around the corner, breakfast place was nice too (antonios), walk to the rubicon marina about 10 minutes and 30ish to playa blanca centre. Would recommend centre as much nicer restaurants and far better prices, taxi back was about €4. The house was just as described, directions very good and all communications with julie quick and easy. Enjoyed lounging by the pool very much, everything needed was there and worked. We were a family of 4 adults and all very comfortable, the sofas and beds very good quality and tv package had everything. Thanks casa roper

Relaxing stay

Lovely relaxing stay in a quiet location. Villa had everything we needed and comfortable beds thankfully. A replacement parasol was requested but wasnt provided while we were there so we had no shade from the sun until later in afternoon when the sun was going down. Only real negative is we felt it is in need of some TLC and some minor maintenance and perhaps a deep clean.

Perfect location, owners have tried very hard to please guests

The villa is in an excellent location, near a cafe/bar & just around the corner from a Superdino open til 10pm, the bakery, deli & butchery are good, staff will cut meat to size for you & it’s so cheap. There’s a Spanish bar next to the Superdino, very cheap drinks. Taxis are cheap & they understood English when I rung them to pick up from the villa. Julie the villa owner was on hand when we had a few issues & everything was dealt with & sorted out quickly. Communication prior to our holiday was excellent. Having the pool was great, so was having the downstairs toilet/shower with 4 adults staying. We really liked that there was a selection of books in the lounge to read, that pool towels are supplied, sofas are comfortable & the kitchen is well equipped, although some pint glasses would be good for the beer drinkers. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. The view from the bedroom balcony was amazing (once the villa in front chopped down the palm tree in their garden) We did feel that some of the outside wooden dining chairs could do with replacing as they’re quite rickety. And although the patio seating was comfortable there was a split in the seat of 1 chair & the cushion of another one had a cigarette burn in it, the cushion covers could maybe do with a quick wash on change over days as they were grubby. We weren’t sure if anyone washes down the pool surround, weeds the back/front areas or checks for lightbulbs not working etc, but none the less great holiday had by all.

Great stay

A lovely house in a peaceful location just outside of the marina. A minute away from the supermarket which is very handy, 7 min walk to Los colorados beach, and 15 min walk to the marina. We took a bus into playa blanca which was cheap and took 10 mins, if you wanted to walk its half and hour. Villa has everything you need for your holiday, pool is lovely and warm and its a great place to chill. Julie is a vey attentive owner and nothing is any trouble. We would definitely book again and will look this one up when we return in 2025!

First time in a villa

The villa is close to local amenities in a quiet area yet still in walking distance to bars and restaurants. The villa is a good size and the pool definitely worthwhile an added bonus to make your holiday complete. Julie the owner is lovely and any problems are rectified straight away. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely go back again.

Quiet & restful

Excellent communication with Julie. Slightly disappointed with quality of fixtures and fittings - especially bed linen which looked tired - though I understand from reading previous reviews redecoration is imminent. All in all fulfilled our needs for a quiet restful week.

Villa was fab, great location pool fantastic. Could be doing with a freshen up and outdoor furniture needs renewed. Sunbeds broken and balcony funiture need replaced but apart from that it was great

Lovely break

We thoroughly enjoyed a week at Casa Roper. Julie was extremely helpful from the word go. The house has everything we as a couple needed. 15 mins stroll from Marina Rubicon and a supermkt and local bar/cafe riggt next door made for a perfect location. Would certainly return
